At the last minute, Steve Mariucci has declared that Joey Harrington's job is not safe and Training Camp will decide which QB gets the nod for the season opener vs. Arizona at Ford Field.

Coach Mariucci: "It will be very interesting in Training Camp. Both of them have great potential and just because I name a starter doesn't mean the job is his full time. IF he struggles I'll replace him very quickly. Right now I just want to focus on Training Camp. This team is a contender."
