    Re: Games 1 and 2 @ FLA

Dynasty is looking good as all your dynasties are. Sucks about Polanco's injury though.
How's ASB anyway? I'm thinking of buying it.

Yeah, Polanco's injury hurts, but the only person really hitting right now is Abreu. I replaced Polanco with Perez, but Utley is gonna see some PT as well.

ASB is a great game. I enjoy the realism and the depth of the Franchise Mode. I suggest you go and get it if you want a realistic ball game for the summer.

            Game 3 @ FLA

            Game 3

Josh Beckett took the mound at home against the Phillies, a team that the Marlins owned at the latter end of the previous season. With a win, they can win the series.

Millwood faced the Marlins, and he did his best to keep the score low. That, he did, but unfortuneatly, the Phillies couldn't hit for anything.

In the meanwhile, the Marlins took advantage of their chances on bases. Beckett went 8 inning allowing only 5 hits. The Marlins win the game, 5-0.

            W - Josh Beckett (1-1)
            L - Kevin Millwood (1-1)

            Castilla 4-4, RBI, double
            Coi 3-4, HR(2) 2 runs
            Beckett 3-4, RBI, R

            Rollins 3-4
            Perez 1-2
            Abreu 1-4

As We Open Citizens Bank Ballpark..
the Fightin' Phillies have their fans excited about a new season, and now they get their own look at their own club, hoping to start the season out on a good note.

Vincente Padilla will be the first pitcher to pitch at the new ballpark, but before the opening of the game, Philadelphia's own Allen Iverson went to the mound and threw the first pitch. Padilla would take the hill and face Juan Acevado

Padilla had a short outing, ony going 4 innings and giving up 1 run. He had to throw in the towel due to a sore arm. Tim Worrell came in relief, but he gave up his own 4 runs. In the process, the Phillies lose Jimmy Rollins for 1-2 weeks with a sore groin, after diving for a grounder. The Phillies have now lost Polanco long term, and Rollins for 2 weeks at most.

This Phillies offense is still absent, but Burrell finally got off the schnide. Prior to the game, he went 2-for-24 with 8 strikeouts. This game, he went 2-4 with the park's first Homerun and a double. {b]Still, the Phillies lose the home opener, 5-0[/b].

                  W - Juan Acevado (1-1)
                  L - Vincente Padilla (1-1)
                  S - Danny Graves (2)

                  Vander Wal 2-5, 2B, RBI
                  Hummel 1-5, 2B
                  Kearns 2-5, HR(1)
