TCU (10-5) @ #8 Memphis (14-2)
The Memphis Tigers were coming in off a tough loss to the Marquette Golden Eagles and faced the TCU Horned Frogs at The Pyramid in Memphis. TCU caught Memphis offguard and jumped out to an early lead. The lead lasted until the final 3 minutes of the 2nd half. Many experts say Memphis could've won easily if Sean Banks hadn't gotten into foul trouble early and had been more of a factor. Rodney Carney picked up the slack and dropped 37 on TCU to pull off a comeback victory 82-76.
Players of the Game
MEM- Rodney Carney: 37 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 13-25 FG, 6-11 3PT
