Dwayne Lee who was averaging 18 points a game coming into last nights game, only shot 10% from the field and scored only 2 points, lowering his average to 14 a game. Dwayne Jones had another big game, although not quite a scoring threat yet, he had another huge defensive performance, blocking 5 shots and grabbing 9 rebounds, 3 were offensive. The Hawks have yet to have a game with less than 8 blocks and are averaging just over 10 a game. Both teams played close all night, but Pat Carroll's three pointer and Pat Calathes' free throws are what clinched the win. Saint Joseph's will now travel out west to compete in the Mutual Fund Shootout, which will take place in San Francisco, California. The games will be played at the War Memorial Gym, home to the San Francisco Dons. St. Joe's plays UC Irvine in the first round.
