Mississippi State was supposed to be a big threat against their conference opponents- and for the second half, they were. However, this was mostly due to the fact that the 12th man team played the majority of the last half. Strangley, just two players scored in double digits for the Gators. Albeit, both scored over 29.

Anthony Roberson was the highlight player of the game, achieving 34 points, 11 assists, and 4 steals. He also poured in 8 three pointers, a season high, on 16 attempts. Corey Brewer held up the other end with 29.

Matt Walsh and David Lee combined for just 11 points in a disappointing, though not costly, effort.

Forward, Lawrence Roberts was the high scorer for the Bulldogs- scoring 22 and rebounding 11. Guard, Gary Irvin had 18 of his own, with 13 dimes.

Florida has won an outstanding 7 in a row. They face Alabama on Saturday.

Alabama surprised everyone- the Gators, their fans, their coaching staff- on the road nonetheless. Led by guard, Earnest Shelton, the Crimson tide were able to take a 10 point lead at halftime, and completely blow open the game by the 2nd half. The team scored 102 points, their season high. Shelton scored scored 30 to go with his 9 assists.

Not to be out done, Florida's forward, David Lee, scored 30 as well, with 9 boards, and shooting 12 for 19 from the field. However, he was the only one who was producing high quality points, despite Roberson's 18 and Brewer's 13.

Anthony Roberson had just 4 assists, a season low, and shot a horrific, 6 out of 20. Corey Brewer had 13 and hardly played due to foul trouble. Matt Walsh scored just 6 on 2 of 10 three pointers.

Continuing success for the Crimson Tide was forward, Kennedy Winson. He scored 29 and pulled down 8 rebounds. Guard, Ron Steele sank in 15 points and dished out 13 dimes.

The loss snaps the Florida Gators 7 game win streak and they will play Kentucky on the road.

Kentucky was too much to handle at home for the Gators, as they cruised to a 15 point crushing over the 10th ranked Gators. Their defensive efforts and offensive explosion kicked in by the 2nd half when they ran away with it by the 8 minute mark.

Kelenna Azubuikie led the Wildcats with 28 points, 7 boards and dishing out 5 dimes. Guard, Joe Crawford chipped in with 25 and 7 assists. Patrick Sparks and Chuck Hayes each finished with a double-double to end the beating with 16 points, 13 assists and 12 points, 13 boards respectively.
