    Toney Douglas, Freshman Guard

The Auburn Tigers, coming off of a 14-14 season in which they finished near the bottom of the Southeastern Conference, have high hopes for the 2004-2005 campaign. Although the Tigers remain as one of the smallest teams in the conference, they are very optimistic about this season. The lineup has plenty of firepower to put up points, but defensive matchups may cause problems down the road.

    .The Starting Lineup.

g - Toney Douglas, 6'1" Freshman - Playmaking freshman with excellent instincts. This kid can simply put the ball in the hoop from anywhere on the court.

g - Ian Young, 6'3" Senior - Leading returning scorer from last season, Young can score with the best of them and will provide leadership for this young team.

g - Nathan Watson, 6'3" Senior - Decent scorer with limited potential on the offensive side of things. Should prove to be valuable as a senior, however.

f - Daniel Hayles, 6'5" Freshman - Very athletic swingman with good ball-handling skills and excellent defensive ability.

f - Quinnel Brown, 6'6" Senior - The best defensive player on the team, also has good rebounding and scoring ability.

    .Key Reserves.

    g - Frank Tolbert, 6'3", Freshman
    c - Ryan Daniel, 6'11", Freshman
    f - Ronny LeMelle, 6'5" Senior

    .Coaching Staff.

    Head Coach - Gilbert Neverett
Assistant Coaches - Billy Ziri, R.J. Laksa
