Short but really cool. I love the idea. Good work.

Re: My New Cleveland Indians (MVP 2005)
Posted another update. Sadly my bullpen isn't holding up right now. Guess they are already tiring out with two months left to go in the season. One more thing, my bullpen was supposed to be a strong point on the team, hasnt shown that last few weeks though.Angels World Series Championships : 2002

Re: My New Cleveland Indians (MVP 2005)
Damn, awesome vertical by Ichiro on that play! You took some nice pics of that game.
Getting anxious yet to get to the offseason? I know I am. Wins are getting tougher for me now that I moved up to All-Star using a combination of Pared & Jistic's sliders. Fortunately the rest of the AL Central is pathetic in my dynasty. I seem to either win by like 5-3 or 3-2, or lose by scores such as 15-6 & 13-1. Once my pitching goes bad its tough to get the game finished without simming to end! Jason Davis' ERA just skyrocketed from around 4.00 to the low 8's after a couple of disastrous long relief outings.
And somehow I've forgotten how to hit with Hafner & Blake, my 2 best hitters up to the All-Star break. Fortunately, Martinez and Broussard are really carrying the club lately. I almost think there's some hidden biorhythm function in this game aside from the player happiness levels.Comment

Ya, Ichiro's catch was sick, funny thing was he robbed that homerun against my Halos that same day I played the game. Both were some sick catches. Well its the trade deadline in my game, not real sure who to pick up though. Two more months to go, then its alot of work in the offseason.Angels World Series Championships : 2002

Nice work on the monthly review. Having grown up in Cleveland I got a kick out of seeing the Plain Dealer! And the back cover cracked me up. I especially like the league leader tables. And the front page is looking clean & well organized (the standings tables are great). That horizontal scrollable schedule could use some work though.
I almost wish I would've made note of some of my transactions & other big trades in my dynasty. At some point alot of that info disappeared from the league news page.
I just finished up the regular season, and we won the Central with a 93-69 record. Just like in your dynasty, Wickman was lights-out & took the Rolaids Relief award. That's the only award we won, we weren't even close on any of the others. We did tie the Red Sox for most HRs in the AL with 203. That seems a bit unrealistic... it was definitely a team effort as other than Hafner nobody else had more than 21.
And most surprising, after getting swept in our last reg season series with the Yankees, we got revenge & swept them 3-0 in the ALDS. Sabathia redeemed himself for a subpar season by outdueling the Big Unit 3-1 in the clincher. At one point in the 7th inning, I was winning 2-1 with only 1 hit, but had drawn 6 walks. Definitely a weird game.
On to the ALCS!Comment

Re: My New Cleveland Indians (MVP 2005)
How did you make the playoffs? Was your starting pitching good, cause that has been one of the main problems with my team.
Wickman is pretty good, my only problem is getting to him since were usually behind to begin with.
For some reason the scroller shows up on the schedule table only in mozilla firefox. Alot of my stuff doesnt show up in mozilla for some reason. I have tried fixing some of the stuff since I just downloaded it, but it takes a little while too long.

Millwood 15-10, 3.33
Westbrook 16-8, 3.36, 233 IP!
Elarton 13-14, 3.51
Lee 13-7, 3.69
Sabathia 12-13, 4.34
This was with me only playing approx 1 out of every 3 games and simming the rest. In the last month or so I started playing more, probably every other game, because I felt it was important for me to adjust to some more difficult sliders I switched to in time for the playoffs. I'm definitely not going to sim any playoff games.
Sabathia started to improve in the last two months to finish with a decent ERA. I still don't feel we were that good of a team. The key was our running roughshod over the AL Central. We finished an amazing 51-24 vs our division rivals! We were a disappointing 15-18 vs the AL West and 16-20 vs the AL East. So sweeping the Yankees in the ALDS was a big surprise.
I'm definitely not looking forward to facing Boston in the ALCS. They hit .309 during the season! But their pitching is suspect after they traded away Matt Clement. Their GM apparently has no idea there's only 1 DH in the game, as they now have these guys at C & 1B: Varitek, Javy Lopez, David Ortiz, Kevin Millar, & Mike Sweeney!

Monroe has been a pleasant surprise for me in the 2 spot, with 15 homers so far this season. Hopefully he will work out for you as well.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
