                  Dodgers make blockbuster moves

The Los Angeles Dodgers made 2 great trades today which will help them take over the NL West lead of Barry "The Hulk" Bonds and the Giants.

First, Brad Penny was sent to Florida for the D-Train, Dontrelle Willis. Willis will add another southpaw to the rotation and could make it one of the best rotations in recent memory.

Next, Derek Lowe and Eric Gagne who have both been struggling were sent to the Mets for All-Star CF Carlos Beltran and pitcher Victor Zambrano. Gagne was blowing saves left and right and Beltran could put Jayson Werth into the pinch hitting position where he has done well.

Billy Koch will take over the closer position. Beltran will play Centerfield while J.D. Drew has been moved to right and Bradley will play left.

Dontrelle Willis will start the first game of the Diamondbacks series.
