The Legend Continues Miller and Dees Part II
Looks like the trend with the new forum layout is to create a new thread.. I start a temporary job tomorrow well I am in the middle of interviewing for a new job., well also playing 2 Disc Golf tournaments over the course of the next 2 weekends so things might be a little slow to start but looking forward to getting back in the groove.Last edited by Deuce2223; 05-08-2025, 01:56 AM.Tags: None👍 2 -
WEEK 10 COLLEGE FOTBALL PROJECTED BRACKETWith the arrival of Week 10, we get a look at the first projected 2037 College Football Playoff projections with 3 weeks still to play.
#12 South Carolina vs #5 Ohio State (Winner to take on #4 Tulane)
#9 Tennessee vs 8 Notre Dame (Winner to take on #1 Boise State)
#11 NC State vs #6 Virginia Tech (Winne to take on #3 FIU)
#10 UCLA vs #7 Kansas State (Winner to take on #2 Michigan State)
I think the first thing we have to take note of is the fact that the CPU thinks #7 (7-1) Michigan State will either beat #1 (8-0) Ohio State during their Week 12 matchup, but I find that hard to believe being how it will be Senior Day for QB Nick De La Rosa as he plays his final game at "The Shoe"
Another shock is seeing FIU at #3.. The Panthers opened their season with a loss vs Maryland in Week 1 before winning 6 straight including wins over Ole Miss, Miss State, Auburn, Georgia Tech and Florida State. But a Week 9 loss to LSU (42-34) plus a upcoming Week 11 matchup vs Florida and a Week 13 matchup vs Miami could spell doom for the Panthers playoff run let alone securing a Top-4 seed.
Despite a current #11 Ranking and a (7-1) record, Coach Dees and the Florida Gators have a tough stretch of their own as the CPU doesn't think they got enough left in the tank for a playoff run. Florida will host #17 (5-3) Georgia in Week 10 before playing FIU at Pitbull Stadium in Week 12 before returning home to face (5-3) Clemson and (4-4) Florida State to close out the year.
#3 (8-0) Boise State like Ohio State is riding a 8 game win streak, and like the Buckeyes they still got a tough schedule ahead with matchups vs #25 (6-2) Oregon State and (6-2) BYU but both games are on "The Blue" which gives the Broncos the home field edge.. Could we see another Miller vs BSU showdown?

Game Recap
Georgia dominated TOP in the 1st Quarter, playing 7 minutes on Offense coming away with the 7-0 lead as Florida struggled to move the ball both on the ground and through the air. The Bulldogs opened up the 2nd half scoring with a 7 yd touchdown pass from SR QB Larry Gee (82 Ovr) to SO TE Greg Rudd to extend the lead to (14-0). Florida still struggling to pick up 1st downs was forced to settle for a 40 yd FG by Kevin Feliciano with 5:39 to play in the half making it (14-3) but the Bulldogs were not done scoring as Gee throws his 3rd TD of the half as he hits JR WR Vantrise Denbow with a 69 yd bomb to extend the lead to (21-3) with 4 minutes to play in the half. A Baraka Ogundeji INT would kill another Florida Drive as Georgia turns the turnover into a 34 yd FG with 1:01 to play making it (24-3) .. Armed with all 3 timeouts Florida would try and mount a score before the half but a fumble by Ogundeji led to a 89 yd fumble recovery and score as Georgia goes into the locker room up (31-3).
With back to back turnovers Ogundeji's day was over, as Florida came out of the locker room with Week 1 starter SO Mike Apple under center... The struggles continued though as Apple is picked off inside the endzone to kill the opening drive., well the Georgia offense kept things rolling as Gee throws TD #4 and #5 to extend the Bulldogs lead to (45-3) going into the 4th.
Florida would open the 4th Quarter scoring with a 61 yd TD bomb from Apple to SR WR Matt Van Demark to make it (45-10) but midway through the 4th, Gee would throw TD #6 as he hits Rudd for his 2nd score of the game to make it (52-10) with 5:42 to play.
Apple would add a 21 yd TD run with 1:32 to play but at that point it was too little too late.. FINAL SCORE GEORGIA-52 FLORIDA-17

game-with-ohio-state-football-87tl8fq1wl9ys0fe.jpgBUCKEYES AND BEARCATS BATTLE INTO OT!!!GAME RECAP
Cincinnati came into the game with a (2-6) record with no chance at a Bowl game this trip to Columbus was the biggest game of the year both Bearcat players and fans and it showed..
Cincy would take a early (10-0) lead in the 1st Quarter as Nick De La Rosa throws his 9th INT of the season (But his first since Week 5).. De La Rosa however would settle down as he leads Ohio State on 3 scoring drives including a 62 yd bomb to Cam Spain to give Ohio State a (13-10) lead going into the half.
Cincinnati would retake the lead in the 3rd Quarter as SR RB Craig Westbrook takes it 43 yds to the house to make it (17-13). The Bearcats "D" would then step up holding the Buckeyes to their 3rd FG of the game to open up the 4th Quarter still in the lead (17-16). Cincinnati would extend the lead to (24-16) midway through the 4th but Ohio State answers back as De La Rosa finds SR WR Gabe Cobb on a 24 yd score.. Coach Miller would leave the Offense on the field with 2:10 to play to convert the 2pt play and tie game (24-24).
Cincinnati would have a shot at winning the game in regulation but SR SS Ralf Garrison comes up with a huge INT with less then 20 seconds to play as the game goes to OT.
Cincy wins the toss and elects to kick.. De La Rosa wastes little time throwing TD #3 to Orlando Riggs to put Ohio State in the lead (31-24) but the Bearcats respond with a score of their own to make it (31-31).
After giving up a quick TD, the Ohio State Defense steps up and holds Cincinnati to a FG making it (34-31).. A score would now win the game and De La Rosa lead the charge scrambling a huge 10 yd gain before firing the game winner to TE Baraka Cobbs as Ohio State stays undefeated.

Man rough showing against Georgia for Dees, but that's the SEC. It'll hit you in the mouth real quick lol
Surprisingly tough tilt against Cincy but the Buckeyes showed the championship pedigree doing enough to get the win. Remind me, I totally forgot, but Ohio State is coming off back to back Natty's yeah?

01730a45857929.583f4722a164c.jpgWEEK 11 RECAPOHIO STATE
The Ohio State Buckeyes moved to 10-0 Overall and 8-0 in Big Ten Play with a (52-14) victory over Wisconsin this week.
SR QB Nick De La Rosa continues his Heisman/Maxwell campaign with another solid outing finishing the day 19/30 (63%) throwing for 485 yds and 6 TD's without a interception.
JR WR Orlando Riggs hauled in 5 receptions for 281 yds and 4 TD's as he climbs back into the Heisman discussion (Heisman Talk) at #3.. Riggs now leads the nation with 1019 yds and a nation leading 16 touchdowns despite just 39 receptions on the season.
FR WR Joe Wilbur had a solid game as well hauling in 6 pass's for 98 yds well SO Cam Spain grabbed 3 balls for 36 yds including a pair of scores.
It was a quite day on the ground for the Buckeyes as Ohio State managed just 82 yds and 1 score on 27 carries. SR Ja'Quan Britton had 20 carries for 59 yds and the score well RS FR DeSean Pryor added 28 yds on 5 carries.
Ohio State holds onto the #1 ranking in the CFP Rankings with the win but will face one of their biggest challenges yet as they host #9 (8-2) Michigan State in Week 12. The Game will be the Buckeyes "Senior Day" as 20 Seniors and a few underclassman (Riggs most likely) will play their final home game of their career at "The Shoe" The Spartans jumped 3 spots in the rankings this week going from 12 to #9 after they beat instate rival Michigan (46-14).
Coach Miller "This Senior class features so many players who have been a huge part of our program winning back to back National Championships and potentially our 6th straight Big Ten Title. Interceptions have plagued QB Nick De La Rosa over the past 4 years, but he will still leave Columbus with multiple school records and college football with multiple records as well. I am proud of everything he has overcome.
The Florida Gators rebounded from a horrible Week 10 loss to Georgia with a huge Week 11 win over Florida International as Coach Dees returns to Miami guiding the Gators over the Panthers with a (41-20) victory..
Coach Dees known for his high scoring offense, went old school against his former team pounding the rock 42 times for a season high 356 yds with 3 touchdowns.
RS SO Adrian Burden carried the ball 13 times for 126 yds (9.7 avg) in the 1st half as he extends his nation leading rushing total to 214 carries for 1284 yds (6.0 avg) but would leave the game early in the 2nd half as the Gators turn to RS FR David Mateo and True Freshman Devin Boyett.
Mateo would answer the challenge producing a season/career high 14 carries for 108 yds (7.7 avg) including 2 TD's well Boyett exploded for 115 yards on 10 carries (11.5 avg).
RS SO Mike Apple returned to the starting lineup at QB taking over for Baraka Ogundeji.. Apple completed just 9/19 (47%) for 143 yds but did manage to throw 2 TD's and not turnover the ball.. Apple also added a 8 yd rushing touchdown late in the 4th.
SR Matt Van Demark was held without a catch in the game.. Van DeMark leads the team with 738 yds and 10 TD's despite recording just 19 receptions. His 38.8 avg per catch leads the nation.
With the win Florida is now (8-2) Overall and (6-2) in SEC play.. The Gators jumped 6 spots in the Top-25 CFP rankings going from #16 to #10 and now have earned a spot in the current playoff projections..
With the loss FIU drops to (7-3) Overall and (6-2) in SEC play.. The Panthers drop from #7 in the Top-25 Rankings to #17 and are currently not projected to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2025 season. As their 12 year steak could come to a end.
Coach DeesIt was a huge win for our program.. A must win in our season if we want to keep a SEC title and playoff spot alive.. Of course I have mixed feelings being the team that knocks the Panthers out of the playoff picture but a win over 8 Georgia next week could be what they need to get back in the national spotlight
OTHER TOP-25 NEWS
#11 Cal joined #7 FIU in the loss column this week as the Bears lost to #22 Washington State (35-6).. With the loss Cal drops to 23 in the rankings well the Cougars jump to #18 as they keep a potential playoff spot alive.
#10 Tulane keeps their undefeated season alive with a (34-31) win over Jacksonville State.. However despite the win the Green Wave drop to #13 in the rankings with 12 Michigan State and #16 Florida jumping them in the rankings.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF PROJECTIONS

1ST HALF RECAP
Ohio State showed once again why they are back to back National Champions and undefeated this season as they dominate #9 Michigan State with a season high 42 points on Senior Day..
SR QB Nick De La Rosa firing on all cylinders completing a perfect 9/9 pass's to start the game including a 64 yd TD bomb to Orlando Riggs to open up the scoring..
De La Rosa would finish the half 14/18 (77%) throwing for 272 yds with 4 TD with his only blemish being a INT midway through the 2nd Quarter.
The Ohio State Defense stepped up though as SR SS Rico Garrison picked off Spartan QB JR Floyd Nunn (84 Ovr) twice including a "Pick 6" he returned 106 yds following De La Rosa's INT..
Riggs 64 yd bomb wasn't his only TD f the day as he also hauls in a 43 yd score with 2:07 in the half finishing the half with 3 rec for 137 yds and 2 TD. RS FR Joe Wilbur is showing he could be the next man up as the next great Ohio State WR as he hauls in the other 2 scores on 3 rec for 30 yds.
Even though the passing game was dominating, SR RB Ja'Quan Britton still managed to gain 84 yds on 9 carries (9.3 avg) well scoring a touchdown as well.
2nd HALF RECAP
After a dominating1st half, the Ohio State Buckeyes put things on cruise control not looking to embarrass the Spartans.. OSU would tack on a pair of 3rd Quarter scores as RS FR DeSean Pryor takes a HB Draw 71 yds for the score midway through the 3rd and De La Rosa finds SR TE Gabe Harper on a 18 yd score just 2 minutes later to make it (56-0) at the end of the 3rd.
Michigan State's offense showed some life in the 4th as the Spartans score twice behind backup QB SR Nick Haggan (77).. Haggan finished the game 9/12 for 110 yds including a 36 yd TD pass to George Marmarosa midway through the 4th.
With a (56-14) lead, Coach Miller pulled Britton for the day as the SR RB finishes the game with 165 yds on 20 carries, allow fellow SR (Michigan transfer) Nick Alli to close out the game with 5 carries for 45 yds (9.0 avg) well RS Sophomore Robert Rourke gets late carry taking it 6 yds for the final score of the game.
FINAL SCORE OHIO STATE-63 MIHCINGAN STATE-14KEY BUCKS
QB N. De La Rosa-17/25 (68%) 315 yds 5 TD 1 INT
RB J. Britton-20 carries 165 yds 1 TD
RB N. Alli-5 carriies 45 yds
RB D. Pryor-2 carries 75 yds 1 TD

WR O. Riggs-3 rec 137 yds 2 TD
TE B. Cobbs-2 rec 33 yds
TE G. Haprer-1 rec 18 yds 1 TD
SS R. Garrison 2 INT 1 TD
UP NEXT
Ohio State has clinched the Big Ten OG Division with the win as they move to 11-0 Overall and 9-0 in Big Ten play.. They will look to keep their perfect season going as they travel to "The Big House" next week for a matchup with (4-7) Michigan.
With no chance of a bowl game, we can assume the Wolverines will be out for blood as they look to break up the perfect seson.
RECRUITING NEWS
The Buckeyes win on the field in Week 12 wasn't the only big victory for Coach Miller as both 5* MLB Jimmy Jewell and TE Lee Goda sign with Ohio State bringing Coach Miller's 2037 haul to (10) 5* Recruits. He also landed 4* MLB Jose Ingognito (#136 Overall/#22 TX/#9 MLB) giving Ohio State 22 commitments (10-5*,11-4*,1-3*), leaving just 1 player left on the Big Board (4* ATH/LB Bobby Tripplett (#138 Ovr/#23 TX/#10 MLB).
With 23 potential signings, it's safe to say Coach Miller probably won't be to active with the transfer portal this season unless some more underclassman leave or Ohio State has it's own exodus of players looking for a bigger opportunity on campus somewhere else.
With Starters at both QB and RB next season set to graduate and pretty high odds that the Buckeyes could lose their Top-3 WR's (Spain and Riggs early entries, Cobb a SR), as well as 4 of the 5 starters on the O-Line and possibly all 5, it's safe to say next year's Spring Game will be offering alot of players a chance to earn starting jobs.

the-energy-in-the-swamp-home-of-the-passionate-florida-gators-fans-qn4nw1qguvt3ngpa.jpgGATORS PULL OFF 4TH QUARTER WIN!!!GAME RECAP
With their playoff hopes on the line and a potential spot in the SEC title game as well, the Florida Gators managed to connect on a 51 yd FG with 33 seconds to play to pull off a Week 12 victory at home over Clemson to move to 9-2 Overall and 7-2 in SEC play in Coach Dee's first season as the helm.
Down (14-10) entering the 2nd Quarter, Florida would attempt to pickup the 1st down 3 times on 4th down as the Tigers Defense comes away with 3 big stops leaving it (14-10) at the half.
Clemson would open up the 3rd Quarter with a FG to extend the lead to (17-10) but Florida ties the game as RB Adrian Burden breaks free for a 34 yd score to make it (17-17).. Clemson answers right back with 75 yd TD pass from SR QB B. Sternberger (84) to RS FR WR Larry Hufanga (80) to retake the lead, but Florida answers it with their own 75 yd bomb as SO Mike Apple hits SR WRJordan McPherron to tie the game (24-24).
Sternberger and Hufanga were not done as the duo hooks up again for a 4th Quarter score as Hufanga hauls in his 6 catch of the day for 192 yards and the 2 scores, but again Florida answers.
Apple playing one of his best games of the season drops back and fires a 69 yd bomb to SR Matt Van DeMark who hauls in his 12th TD of the season (he had a 1st half score as well) to tie the game once again (31-31) .
Clemson QB Ben Sternberger had been pretty solid until the final drive completing 15/20 pass's on the day for 330 yds with 4 TD's, but Sternberger when the Tigers needed him most struggled completing just 1/6 for 9 yds well throwing a INT to RS FR OLB Ronald Woodhead that would help setup the Gators winning FG. Despite being just 1/3 on the day RS Sophomore PK Kevin Feliciano came through when it mattered most drilling the 51 yd FG for the win..
FINAL SCORE FLORIDA-34 CLEMSON-31KEY GATORS
QB M. Apple-22/34 409 yds 3 TD, 26 yds rushing
RB A. Burden-16 carries 91 yds 1 TD, 3 rec 18 yds
RB D. Matero-6 carries 12 yds

WR M. Van Demark-6 rec 133 yds 2 TD
WR J. Parker-2 rec 41 yds
TE A. Volk-4 rec 50 yds 2 TD
UP NEXT
WITH the win Florida moves up 2 spots in the CFP Rankings to #8, the CPU now projecting a potential rematch with Georgia in Round 1 and a 2nd Round matchup with #1 Ohio State.
Florida and Miami are both currently (7-2) in SEC play, with the Gators holding the tie breaker over the Hurricanes with their Week 9 victory.. If Florida can beat Florida State in Week 13, the Gators would head to the SEC title game for a rematch with #4 Tennessee their only other loss of the season.
Coach Dees"A SEC title rematch with the Vols and a potential rematch with the Bulldogs in Round 1 is what I call double punishment for what's been a great season, but I feel like our team is ready.. Mike is playing some great football right now and Adrian continues to show he is one of the best RB in the nation.. I believe we will be a different team then either of those teams remember facing.."

With Starters at both QB and RB next season set to graduate and pretty high odds that the Buckeyes could lose their Top-3 WR's (Spain and Riggs early entries, Cobb a SR), as well as 4 of the 5 starters on the O-Line and possibly all 5, it's safe to say next year's Spring Game will be offering alot of players a chance to earn starting jobs.Comment

1ST HALF RECAP
Florida dominated the 1st half taking a early (21-0) lead in the 1st Quarter that included rushing touchdowns by Devin Boyett (5 yds) and Adrian Burden (1 yd).
Florida State opened up the 2nd Quarter scoring with a 63 yd TD run by WR Marcell Henderson to make it (21-7), but Florida answers back as Burden caps off another scoring drive with a 2 yd run to make it (28-7). Henderson showed he can catch the ball too, as he hauls in a 2yd score from QB Caleb Cooper to make it (28-14) with 24 seconds to play in the half, but that was plenty of time for Gator QB Mike Apple to find SR WR Matt Van Demark on a 53 yd touchdown bomb as Florida takes the (35-14) lead into the locker room.
Apple finished the half completing 12/15 (80%) for 260 yds with 2 TD, well Van Demark caught 3 balls for 149 yds (49.6 avg) and the TD.
Burden finished the half with 13 carries for 53 yds and the 2 TD's.
2ND HALF RECAP
After scoring 5 touchdowns in the 1st half, the Gators offense cooled off in the 3rd Quarter as they scoring just 1 time on a 23 yd TD pass from Mike Apple to Stephen Gurley as Florida takes a (42-14) lead into the 4th Quarter. Despite having a 4 score lead, Coach Dees didn't take the foot off the gas pedal as Mike Apple throws 3 touchdowns in the 4th Quarter including a 71 yd bomb to van Demark finishing with a season high 6 TD's.
FSU would manage a late score but at that point it was too little too late, as Coach Dees and the Gators secure a spot in the SEC Championship..

nice win to finish out the season. hopefully if the Gators can capture the SEC it would post pone a Miller vs Dees showdown until the NattyComment

Possibly. A loss in the SEC could drop me out of the 8/9 game.. I did a sim to see what could happen and I actually dropped to the #9 seed after losing to Tennessee and had to rematch Georgia in Round 1, then played Ohio State in the 2nd Round and beat them then had a rematch again with Tennessee in the Natty..
I think a win against Tennessee would actually move me to the #4 seed unless Tulane wins out then believe I would be the #6 seed and host in Round 1👍 1

1ST HALF RECAP
Ohio state opened up the game with the ball but after a short run by Britton, De La Rosa went to the air but drop pass's forced a punt giving Michigan the ball back mid field.. The Buckeye Defense holds strong though holding the Wolverines to a 33 yd FG to make it (3-0). Ohio State would make the most of their 2nd series as De La Rosa finds Orlando Riggs on a 12 yd touchdown to cap a 11 play drive that leaves just 55 seconds to play in the opening quarter giving Ohio State the (7-3) lead.
Michigan would open up the 2nd Quarter scoring with another 38 yd FG to make it (7-6) and after De La Rosa is picked off in the endzone trying for a 66 yd TD pass to Riggs, Michigan tacks on a 31 yd FG to make it (9-7) with 4:26 to play in the half.
Ohio State would retake the lead with 2:55 to play in the half as De La Rosa caps a 9 play drive with a 8 yd TD run to make it (14-9).. Then things get crazy..
Ohio State extends their lead to (21-9) with 59 seconds to play after SS Ralph Garrison comes up with a huge INT, De La Rosa connects with Cam Spain on a 4 yd score .
Michigan however answers back as Clausen rebounds from his earlier INT with a 47 yd TD bomb to Maurice Herron to make it (21-15) with 17 seconds to play.
De La Rosa begged Coach Miller to let him try and put one down field in the final seconds and Miller agreed.. After 2 incomplete pass's, De La Rosa scrambled picking up 12 yds before stepping out of bounds with 1 second to play.. With one more chance, Del La Rosa scrambles right and looks for Riggs down the sideline but Riggs has triple coverage leaving JR WR Khalid Ahlers wide open for a 69 yd TD bomb as Ohio State goes into the locker room up (28-16).
2nd Half Recap
Michigan opens up the 2nd half with the ball and uses a little trickery as JR WR JJ Paxson (86) takes a hand off and goes 55 yds to the house for the touchdown to make it (28-23).. Another De La Rosa INT would give Michigan the ball back with a chance to take the lead, but the Ohio State Defense comes up big with a stop forcing a punt and this time the Buckeyes lean on the ground game as they chew up valuable time before capping off a 10 play drive with a 1 yd TD run by FB Lee DuBois to make it (35-23). Another punt by Michigan gives Ohio State the ball back again with under 2 minutes to play in the 3rd and again the Buckeyes find the endzone as De La Rosa hits Orlando Riggs on a 8 yd strike to extend the lead to (42-23) going into the 4th.
Despite trailing by 19 going into 4th, Michigan kept fighting as Clausen fires a 28 yd TD pass to David Edmond to make it (42-30). Ohio State would go to the ground game though as they looked to pound the Michigan Defense with the country's best running attack.. RS FR DeSean Pryor caps a 11 play drive with a 2 yd TD run to extend the lead to (49-30).. Michigan answers back with a 16 yd TD run of their own as Wes Weiner scores to make it (49-37) but Ohio State would answer back with another rushing TD as Ja'Quan Britton takes it in from 12 yds out to make it (56-37) with 1:10 to play.
After forcing a turnover on downs Ohio State could've just took a knee, with 47 seconds to play but the Buckeyes hate for the Wolverines runs deep as Pryor takes it in from 4 yds out for 1 more score.

With the win Ohio State finishes the year with a perfect 12-0 record and is headed to the Big Ten Championship for the 6th straight year to face #4 (10-2) Notre Dame.... The Buckeyes and Irish didn't meet in the regular season .. Notre Dame is riding a 8 game win streak..

Always nice to hand it to Michigan, but it was a lot closer than the final score would make you believe. So long as De La Rosa can keep up the Heisman level play I don't see anyone giving the Buckeyes a runComment

CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKBIG TEN
Ohio State returns for it's 6th straight trip since Coach Miller's arrival, as Ohio State will look to keep it's undefeated season alive against the #4 Irish... The winner will secure a At-Large Bid, with Ohio State playing for the #1 seed well Notre Dame would secure something in the Top-4. Even with a los the Irish are still expected to make the playoffs most likely as the #5 or #6 seed hosting in the 1st Round.
ACC
#16 (8-4) North Carolina will take on #6 (11-1) Virginia Tech.. A Tar Heel win most likely means the ACC Champ will not make the playoffs, well the Hokies could make the playoffs even with a loss but a win could be enough to bump them into a Top-4 seed
PAC-12
#9 (11-1) Boise State vs #17 (9-3) Cal
A Week 13 loss to BYU ended Boise State's undefeated season and dreams of a Top-4 seed. Now they are just looking to keep their playoff dreams alive against the Bears.. Like the ACC Championship, a Cal win would most likely mean the Champion would fail to make the playoffs
SEC
#7 (10-2) Florida vs #3 (10-2) Tennessee
A rematch from Florida's Week 6 (28-27) loss stands in the way of Coach Dee's playoff dreams. Most feel even with a loss the Gators are destine for a Top-12 finish but a victory and a few other key loss's could actually still give Florida a Top-4 seed bid.
BIG 12
# 8 (9-3) TCU vs #2 (11-1) Kansas State
Boise State's loss opened the door for the Wildcats to secure the #2 ranking going into Championship Week. A win and K-State is likely the #2 seed. A win by 8 TCU and we could see a some crazy moves in the Top-4 allowing other teams to make a jump and securing a 1st Round "Bye"
SUNBELT
#11 (12-0) Tulane vs (9-3) UAB
The Green Wave's perfect season is still alive.. A win and Tulane will have it's 2nd undefeated season in the past 4 years and another trip to the playoffs.. A loss and they are out as several teams would jump them int the standings. A by UAB would be huge as they grab #10 and their 1st Sun Belt title.
MOUNTAIN WEST
#13 (11-1) San Jose State vs (9-3) UTSA
The Spartans need to win and hope that Tulane loses for any shot at the playoffs For the Road runners a victory would give them #10 giving them their best season inside this dynasty.
CUSA
#19 (10-2) Appalachian Sate vs (8-4) Charlotte
Neither team has a shot at the playoffs, but a win by the Mountaineers would be huge step in getting a potential invite to the ACC.
AMERICAN
(8-4) Illinois vs (8-4) Temple
Neither team has a shot at the playoffs but winning the American is probably a bigger deal then whatever Bowl game they play in and would be huge in building a resume worth getting promoted back to the Big Ten for Illinois.
MAC
23 (10-2) Ball State vs (10-2) Toledo
Both teams are looking for their 11th win of the season, well neither has a chance at the playoffs.
