Yeah, my father-inlaw passed away 2 weeks ago.. He and my mother in-law have lived on the same cattle ranch for over 45 years, so we have been busy with not just his memorial service but also with helping getting things sold at the ranch and getting things ready to sell as well as get the ranch listed and help my mother in-law find a new house in town closer to us and to doctors and what not..

I also was laid off from my job at the same time but have gone back to work as a part-time temp worker at a previous employer well I look for a fulltime job with health benefits for myself and my wife.

However I will admit, I am not loving the new forum layout and ad placements.. I have a few games played but with not loving the new site (I am old and don't like to have to learn new things) I just havn't found the motivation to post. It also seems like the forums have died. I don't know if it's others not happy with the new format or if it's just people are busy or people are just waiting for the new game to come out.

Sorry for your loss man. Its never easy losing family, but I can imagine having to help pack up what was their home for most of their lives isn't easy for anyone either.

As for the new forum, they keep saying have patience this is just the "test" forum while they iron out the kinks. I think a lot of people are waiting for the return of the old posts before they pick back up. Kind of bad timing in my opinion, with CFB26 and M26 dropping in a month or so. Maybe the next game will bring some new people on the forums, or if its still having problems they'll look elsewhere. Not gonna lie, I looked around when the forum was roughing it in the first switch over...didn't really find anything that I liked or seemed like it had an active CFB community

Yeah I looked around at other sites, because I figured if I had to learn to new posting format I might as well look for a site that maybe was more active and had less Ad popups. I wish there was option to pay for a premium membership or something that was ad free.. I actually have been playing some NBA2K25.. I was on sell for $13.99 and have been enjoying doing a Portland Rebuild. But it doesn't look like the Basketball forums are very active either..
