Clemson Tigers: Getting back to the late 80's. (NCAA11)

    Console: Playstation 3
Rosters: Undecided (Game is not out yet)
    Sliders: Undecided
    Difficulty: All-American
    Coach: Danny Ford

All of this is fiction and is not based on real life. I will be glad to take this down if anyone from Clemson or the NCAA requests I do so.

Re: Clemson Tigers: Getting back to the late 80's. (NCAA11)

    "Dabo Swinney, new AD"

"Right when I took this job I knew in my heart of hearts who I wanted to retake the reins of this great Clemson football program. I am here to announce, as you all probably may have heard, the new head coach of the Clemson Tigers. Today will be a day that some fans have been calling for for a long time. I am here to announce that the new coach is none other than Coach Danny Ford. As you all know, Danny lead this program to it's only national championship back in 1981. He is a believer in good 'ole smash mouth football like I, and many of you, believe in. I am very confident in my decision and I will let Coach Ford answer any questions that you may have."

    Opening statement

"Phewwwie, it sure is good to be back. I know some of yeahs hate me and some of yeahs love me, but let me tell ya right here right now. I will get this program back to the top where it deserves. Love me or hate me, i'm the head coach so get on board or get off. Now I know the game has changed since my last coachin' gig here. I know Urban Myth or whatever his name down there is is doin' some kind of spread or whip offense. There will be very lil' of that here. Now, i'll answer some of yeah's questions"

" Chad Ford, ESPN, Coach Ford, what are you expectations for this year in terms of wins and bowl eligibility?"

"I tell yeah what mister Ford, I expect to win a championship every year that I coach this squad. I expect us to play with intensity and passion. Now, reasonable expectations? National Championship, but i'll do with an ACC championship under my first year, that ain't nothin' to fret about"

"Rachael Adams, The Greenville News, Mr. Ford, What do you see in the future about your Quarterback depth chart. Kyle Parker got drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the MLB draft, do you expect him to stay, and if not who do you see winning that job?"

"Kyle Parker will stay if he wants to win a championship, but if that youngin' decides to skip town then we will go with what's his face...somethin' boyd. He's got a gun for a arm, and some speed tah burn so I herd. Whoever starts will lead this team, i'm sure of it."

"I'm goin' tah have to wrap this conference up fellas and gals, it was a treat. I need tah take my blood pressure medicine, it's been a crazy day."

Alrighty, if anyone wants to post they can post now. I can't do anything until NCAA 11 actually arrives so i'm sitting on my hands right now. I just wanted to get everything set up. I've read so many dynasties etc on MaddenMania, and now that I have a decent speed connection...(I was stuck on 56k for FOREVER) I really want to do one of these. I know I have terrible writing, bad grammar, so please be gentle :P. Also, I know the story was poorly written and thought out but I just winged it. Thanks.

Any suggestions on the depth chart? I tried to be sort of unique and make my own. I'm looking for suggestions before I complete the entire thing. Thanks.

Well I have a few dynasties going on, only 1 of Football though and it lasted for like 3 days because I got red ring I got a pretty good boxing one going on right now that is almost at 20 pages. Not to many suggestions right now but I'll try and think of some.

(real player was kicked off team for a different reason in real life.)

Friday, June 25th, Clemson -We are receiving reports that star defensive tackle Jamie Cumbie was kicked off the Clemson football team today after Cumbie and Coach Ford was overheard at a team practice in a loud dispute. "That *expletive* is trying to work us to death. Never have I been to a practice this exhaustive. I told him I was done for the day and he just kicked me off the team. We'll see how the rest of the team reacts when they see me kicked off. Hah."
When asked about the incident Danny Ford responded with "It's mah team, these kids here ain't in no dang condition to babysit a baby much less to win an ACC champi'nship. Youngin's that come to this school are gonna work hard."
