Exactly, I didn't really even think about that until now. Jamie Cumbie actually got kicked off the team for beating up some kid on campus. I just needed a way to write him off the team. Thanks for checking in.

I'll be updating this ever so often with new articles and such until the game and rosters come out. I think i'm going to do a player spotlight right now like equinox is doing in his great Texas A&M dynasty (if you haven't checked that one out you definitely should.

              (pictures were taken in NCAA10)

              Quarterback
              OVR: 79, Speed: 88, Agility:86, Accel: 96, Throwing Power:92, Throwing Accuracy: 77

              High School Stats

As a junior, Tajh Boyd completed 131 of 189 passes for 2059 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed for 500 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named District Player of the Year, Regional Player of the Year and second-team All-State quarterback; He benches 305 pounds, squats 425 and reports a 29-inch vertical jump. Final senior (15-0, 3A Div. 5 champions)stats: 1,500 yards passing, 23 touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. (Scout.com)

Why he's an impact player: Kyle Parker is ahead of Tajh Boyd as of now on the depth chart, but we assume Tajh Boyd will play. Why? Because Kyle Parker got drafted in the first round of the MLB draft by the Colorado Rockies. Tajh Boyd is ready to step in and fill the shoes we believe. Tajh actually prefers to step back and deliver the ball to his receiver instead of scrambling everywhere. He can do that though with his impressive speed, agility, and acceleration. We think that Tajh's extra dimension of running can really expand this offense and have a lot of production.

              Defensive End
              OVR:96, AWR: 72, Speed:85, Agility:80, Accel:86, Strength:84, Tackle:88, Hit Power:92, Power Move: 89, Finess Move:90, Block Shedding:93, Pursuit:87, Play Recognition:88

Why he's an impact player: DaQuan is a monster, and although he has been hurt with nagging injuries he has still put up decent stats. He came in as the number one recruit ranked by ESPN in 2008 and has started since then. DaQuan has all the physicals in takes to be a superstar at this level and the next, but he will have to stay healthy for once. If he does indeed stay healthy look for a sick pass rush as he explodes off the line. A player to watch for sure.

              Strong Safety
              OVR:94, Speed:89, Agility:91, Accel:96, AWR:96, Tackle:89, Hit Power: 87, Pursuit:88, Play Recognition:90, Man Coverage:87, Zone Coverage:95

              (thank you ESPN)

Why he's a star: Three words. Preseason All-American. He is the total package and had a major breakout year last year. If he continues to play at such a high level our secondary is in pretty good shape. Will definitely have a solid NFL career in my opinion. STUD.

^ Agreed, love the graphics here dude. And the writeup of that star player getting kicked off, hah! I just keep getting the Dan "I'ss Divishin' One Futbawl!" Hawkins voice when I read that. Good work! Boyd looks like that raw athletic QB that can turn into a monster with a little gamtime...

If Boyd get's his accuracy up then he could be a great QB... Maybe even a Heisman winner.

For a frosh his THP, speed, and acceleration are through the roof. Kind of reminds me of a Vince Young kind of QB.Like you said, I could easily seeing him winning the Heisman in his Junior or Senior year.

                              Clemson vs. Georgia Tech

All-Time Series Georgia Tech leads, 49-24-2

In the 2009 season, both teams won their respective divisions of the ACC. For the first time in the series' history, the two teams met for a second time in a season on December 5, 2009 in the ACC Championship Game. The game marked the first ever December meeting between the two teams, as well as the first post-season meeting. It was also the first time the series has been played outside of Atlanta or Clemson since 1899. Georgia Tech won 39-34.

Coach Danny: I hate dem yeller jackets! They beat us last year twice! In very close games! I dun like to rag on the administration but I believe if Dabo was a bit tougher on dem boys in practice we may have pulled through and brough both of those games home. Tha way they beat us in the ACC champi'nship just leaves a sore taste in my mouth. That option they run is deadly.

                                Clemson vs Florida State

                                All-Time Series: Florida State 16-7.

Between 1999 and 2007 the ACC Atlantic Division matchup between Clemson and Florida State was referred to as the "Bowden Bowl" to reflect the father-son head coach matchup between Bobby Bowden(Father, FSU) and Tommy Bowden (Son, Clemson). Their first meeting, in 1999, was the first time in Division I-A history that a father and a son met as opposing head coaches in a football game. Bobby Bowden won the first four matchups extending FSU's winning streak over Clemson to 11 dating back to 1992. Since 2002, Clemson won 4 of the last 5, including a 26-10 win in Clemson over then-#3 FSU, the highest ranking opponent to ever be defeated by the Tigers. Also during this time the Tigers recorded a 27-20 win in Tallahassee in 2006 which broke a 17-year losing streak Doak Campbell Stadium . 2007 was the last Bowden Bowl game as Tommy resigned as head coach in October 2008. As of 2009, Florida State leads the overall series at 16-7. Last year Clemson won 40-24.

Coach Danny: These pesky seminoles are always tough tah beat. They have alota speed and will be lookin' to pay us back this year after that thumpin' we gave 'em. They will be under new coach Jimbo Fisher who I respect as a good coach. I can't wait to beat the tar outta 'em.
