Career ending injury with a broken vertebrae... Pretty tragic, I didn't notice it during the season and I think I looked at the injuries at around week 13 or so...

Titans Bring Back Core, Let Hope, Scott Walk
Coming into the off-season the Titans had eighteen players with expiring contracts, five of which were starters by the end of the 2011 season. Although the Titans had plenty of cap space, they used it sparingly, expecting to go big in both the draft and free agency later on. The first signing reported was that of free safety Michael Griffin. Griffin had no indication of wanting to leave Tennessee and gladly accepted a seven year contract worth just over sixty-five million dollars with roughly twenty-six million guaranteed. The contract will keep Griffin with the Titans until 2019, when the safety is thirty-four years old. The second to receive a new deal was linebacker Gerald McRath who started a majority of the 2011 season in front of veteran Will Witherspoon. McRath also received a seven year contract; his was stated to be in the range of twenty-eight to thirty million dollars, a third of which was guaranteed. Starting defensive tackle Jovan Haye was let go in order to sign third defensive tackle Jason Jones to a five year deal. In one of the more shocking moves on defense, veteran safety Chris Hope was let go to test free agency. Hope, 32, had begun to show a slight decline over the last season with his break on the ball. The Titans locked young Rhodes Scholar Myron Rolle into a seven year deal worth nearly thirty million dollars to take over Hope’s position. Also on defense cornerback Jason McCourty [six years] and safety Lorenzo Somerville [7 years] were re-signed. McCourty was re-signed to potentially be the number two cornerback with the word of an imminent release of veteran Ken Lucas. Somerville’s play on special teams last year helped him ink a new long-term deal.

Offensively, the Titans did very little, letting a majority of their players walk. Players leaving included running backs Javon Ringer and LeGarrette Blount, receiver Dominique Edison, and tight end Tony Scheffler. Along with those, the Titans decided not to re-sign veteran guard Jake Scott. Scott, 31, came to the Titans in 2008 after leaving the Colts and stepped right into a starting position. Scott’s vacancy presents a large gap on the line that the Titans will need to address very soon. However, there were two players the Titans did lock into new contracts. Tight end Jared Cook Jr. agreed to a seven year contract with the team and fullback Angelo Alosi, who the Titans drafted last year, also agreed to a contract worth just over six million dollars over seven years.

The following players were officially sent to free agency. Wide receiver Dominique Edison, running back Javon Ringer, free safety Vincent Fuller, defensive end Reed Mathieu, tight end Tony Scheffler, running back LaGarrette Blount, defensive tackle Jovan Haye, offensive tackle Troy Kropog, safety Chris Hope, offensive guard Jake Scott, cornerback Ken Lucas, & safety Robert Johnson.

            Titans Snubbed in Free Agency
The Tennessee Titans came into the free agency period with two main goals. Find a replacement for Jake Scott and LaGarrette Blount. Their third goal was also look at quarterbacks to battle Dennis Dixon for the starting role. Unfortunately, all of the players the Titans put on their “short list” weren’t exactly thinking the same thing they were. Offensive guard Matt Rauch elected to sign with Jacksonville rather than the Titans, despite the Titans reportedly offering more than five million dollars more than the Jaguars offered. Ex-Seahawk Justin Forsett refused to return the Titans phone calls and still remains without a teams as franchises prepare for the NFL Combine. The Titans also talked to Alex Smith of the 49ers, but could never come to an agreement where both sides felt it was worthwhile. However, the Titans did sign a pair of running backs to try to keep the workload for Chris Johnson somewhat light. Both Jason Snelling and Andre Brown were signed to multi-year deals. The only other players the Titans were reported to sign was strong safety David Bruton, formerly of the Denver Broncos. Bruton is reported to come in as a backup to newly appointed starting safety, Myron Rolle.

The draft IS all done, however, I'm still working on the presentation for it, so it might not be up until late tonight, possibly even tomorrow. Bear with me, I'm trying to make it look interesting for everyone in the league, not just the Titans.

Re: The Music City Miracle [Titans Madden 11]

                  2012 NFL Draft

Titans Draft Looks Impressive, Quarterback Battle to Follow
Coming into the NFL Draft, the Titans had three picks in the first two rounds and five in the first four [no third round selection due to the Tuck trade] and were in dire need of a new starting offensive guard, a sure f ire cornerback to start opposite Cortland Finnegan, and depth in a number of positions. As the draft began, a trade was nearly immediately announced. The Miami Dolphins, who held the first overall pick, traded down into the fifth spot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while receiving the Buccaneers second round pick as well in return. The Buccaneers chose to select Ole Miss offensive tackle Patrick Omar. After the trade the Titans started to work their own magic, looking to trade up to take Henderson State’s cornerback Kalik Cline. Cline, an expected top ten pick, was quickly taken third by the Eagles, ending hopes for the Titans to move into the sixth, seventh, or eighth spot like they had been talking. The Titans began watching their number one guard, Alec Patterson from the University of Connecticut. Patterson slipped out of the top ten and the Titans began talks with teams in the fifteen to twenty range, knowing that he probably wouldn’t make it to them at twenty-six. The Colts, drafting fourteenth overall, took Patterson, again, ending the hopes of the Titans. Thus the Titans had one more first round talent that they were track, cornerback Tyrus Hardy. Twenty picks had passed and the Titans liked their odds to have Hardy slip six more. Unfortunately, Hardy went twenty-first to the St. Louis Rams. Finally, the Titans would be on the clock and with all three of their first round talents drafted, began talking trades. Still on the board was Maryland receiver Aaron Weaks. Weaks had been considered a top ten talent, but slipped slightly when some began questioning his work ethic. Still, the 6’6” receiver had great upside. The Cleveland Browns, who drafted defensive tackle Janorris East with the ninth overall pick, like this upside. The Browns agreed to send their second and third round picks to the Titans for the Titans twenty-sixth pick and the Browns selected Weaks.

The Titans then waited another fifteen picks before getting their first chance to draft a player. When the pick was finally there, the Titans had plenty of options. Offensive guard Courtney Fair was on the board, rated as one of the top three guards in a fairly weak draft for them. There were a number of cornerbacks as well, along with defensive ends and quarterback Jacory Abraham. The Titans, holding two out of the next three picks, selected Abraham. The 6’4 quarterback seems to be prototypical to those that have passed through Tennessee over recent years [Dennis Dixon, Vince Young, and Steve McNair] as a scrambling style quarterback. Although many expected the Titans to go with Fair here or even a cornerback, they selected Abraham and only time will tell if it was the right move. Two picks later, with the eleventh selection in the second round, the Titans got their offensive guard with Courtney Fair. Fair appears to be set to start on the right side of the line right out of the draft. Fifteen picks later, the Titans were drafting once again in the second round, with their own second round selection, fifty-eighth overall. Here the Titans ended up getting a cornerback. With three on the board, they went with the player with the best size [6’0] and best 40 time [4.35] and selected Bingo Johnson out of Penn State. The Titans expect Johnson to battle we re-signed corner Jason McCourtey and Alterraun Verner for a spot among the top three corners on the team.

In the third round, with the selection the Titans received by trading out of the first round, the Titans looked to add more depth on their offensive line by signing offensive tackle from Ohio State Karrington Murray. Later in the fourth round, with two picks the Titans added defensive end Mike Soldivieri and wide receiver Darien Tracy. The Titans used their last three picks in the fifth, sixth, and seventh rounds all on defensive depth. In order they selected linebacker A.J. Carey, cornerback Tyson Thomas, and defensive tackle Vincent Inglesi.

NOTES: The 49ers continue to bolster their defense. To add with Patrick Willis, the 49ers probably got the best defensive prospect, Florida’s defensive end Usain Franklin. With raw speed, size, and potential, Franklin could be an incredible addition to their defense. --- The Tim Tebow era looks to be over before it started in Denver. With the seventh pick, the Broncos selected UCLA quarterback Jeff Matchwood, easily the best quarterback in the class. --- The Cardinals talked to a number of teams to move up and select Matchwood, but settled on trading up to the tenth pick to take Georgia Tech quarterback Garth Atkinson. --- The only other trade of the draft came when the Redskins moved up from twenty-eighth to twelfth in a trade with the San Diego Chargers to select running back Mike Jimmerson out of Kentucky. Jimmerson slipped out of the top ten, a pick many believed to be taken within the top five. Jimmerson appears to be the heir to long-time back Clinton Portis in Washington. The Chargers used the Redskins pick to take LSU receiver Adrian Robinson.

                  TRADES
                  Miami Receives R1P5, R2P5
                  Buccaneers Receive R1P1

                  Cardinals Receive R1P20, R2P20
                  Giants Receive R1P10

                  Chargers Receive R1P28, R2P28, R4P28
                  Redskins Receive R1P12

                  Titans Receive R2P9, R3P9
                  Browns Receive R1P26
Reasoning: Well, I had an offensive guard on my board to take here, and the Colts ended up taking him at 14. I thought about taking a receiver or one of the two cornerbacks high on the board, but decided to shop my options. I trade off my pick for the Browns to pick up Weaks, a great looking receiver, in order for me to move down and look at more of my second round prospects, as I hold three picks in that round now.

                    2012 NFL Draft
                    First Round Pick Analysis

Pick Team Player Pos Ht Wt College POT
1(1) Miami Dolphins (to Buccaneers) Patrick Omar OT 6'6" 325 Ole Miss A
Pick Analysis: The Buccaneers move up here to take a sure fire offensive tackle. Omar brings great potection to the
left side of the line to help out young Josh Freeman and Sunny Wilkerson. Great pick here.
1(2) Carolina Panthers Kase Mitchell DT 6'7" 330 Texas A
Pick Analysis: Mitchel brings hope to an otherwise disappointing defensive line. Since Julius Peppers left at the
beginning of the 2010 season, the Panthers have struggled on the line. Mitchell provides hope there.
1(3) Philadelphia Eagles Kalik Cline CB 6'0" 200 Henderson St. A
Pick Analysis: Cline was a questionable pick so early in the draft. He may have the best upside of any corner in the
draft, but it's going to take a year or two to develop it. Andy Reid does know how to hone skill however, and Cline
                    sure has plenty of it.
                    1(4) San Francisco 49ers Usain Franklin DE 6'6" 285 Florida A
Pick Analysis: Although some believe that Mitchell is the better talent on the line, the argument can be made that
Franklin is the best defensive lineman in the draft. He's versital, big, strong, and can really do whatever is asked of
him. Combine him with Patrick Willis in the linebacker core, and the 49ers are going to be strong defensively.
1(5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (to Dolphins) David Heitsmith FS 5'11" 210 UCLA C
Pick Analysis: The Dolphins traded down and still ended up stretching to take a need rather than a better choice
and selected Heitsmith with the fifth overall pick. He's a stretch, for sure, but can still step in as a starter right off
                    the bat.
1(6) Detroit Lions Marquise Farmer OT 6'10" 315 California A
Pick Analysis: Jeff Backus is 34 and the Lions could use someone proteching Matthew Stafford's blind side. Farmer
is that guy. Sitting back and watching for a year could prove to be huge for the tackle of of California.
1(7) Denver Broncos Jeff Matchwood QB 6'4" 235 UCLA A
Pick Analysis: Most fans were hoping to see a little of Tim Tebow before this happened, but, it did anyway. The
Broncos make a move here and take, questionably, the best quarterback in the draft. Matchwood can and will
become the franchise quarterback for Denver. Just as long as they don't toss him elsewhere like Cutler.
1(8) Oakland Raiders Marcus Sweet WR 6'0" 197 Oklahoma A
Pick Analysis: Although many would like to say this is another one of those Al Davis moves, taking a receiver way
too high, Sweet actually seems to have potential. He doesn't excell in anything, but he also isn't horrible anyway
either. Expect him to quickly move his way up the depth chart in Oakland.
1(9) Cleveland Browns Janorris East DT 6'5" 315 Auburn A
Pick Analysis: Behind Kase Mitchell, Janorris East is the best defensive tackle in the draft and third best defensive
linemen. He's got perfect size, incredible strength, and the speed to even switch to the end if needed.
1(10) New York Giants (to Cardinals) Garth Atkinson QB 6'1" 234 Georgia Tech C
Pick Analysis: The Cardinals move up ten spots to take their hopeful new franchise quarterback after the release of
Matt Leinart. Atkinson is undersized, but mobile, and could potentially be a great choice here. Unfortunately,
there are rumors of downsides, that may cause him to play less than stellar.
1(11) Seattle Seahawks Kavell Holland SS 6'2" 225 Georgia B
Pick Analysis: A stretch, by far, but the Kam Chancellor expirement is not working out and the Seahawks needed to
find someone to replace him. Without a second round pick in the draft due to the Young trade, Seattle made the
                    pick here.
1(12) San Diego Chargers (to Redskins) Mike Jimmerson HB 5'7" 185 Kentucky A
Pick Analysis: Clinton Portis is starting to slow and Jimmerson was a great choice here. The Redskins watched him
fall and quickly felt the need to move up. Jimmerson is the best running back in the draft and should look great
                    with Mike Shanahan's offense.
                    1(13) Jacksonville Jaguars Pierre Ware-Tucker DE 6'5" 250 South Carolina B
Pick Analysis: The Jaguars take Ware-Tucker here in hopes to start over Derrick Harvey who has been a
disappointment since being drafted in the first round four years ago.
1(14) Indianapolis Colts Alec Patterson OG 6'6" 315 Connecticut B
Pick Analysis: Patterson comes in to battle for a starting role on the right side of the line. One of the top guards in
the draft, the Colts take him here at fourteen.
1(15) Buffalo Bills Calvin Jenkins TE 6'7" 239 Kentucky B
Pick Analysis: Although taking USF's Corey Dutch here may have been a better plan, Calvin Jenkins provides a great
target for young Erik Patterson to throw to as he works his way through the season. Jenkins, at 6'7", has incredible
size, and has great speed for his size. Expect him to be a great target for the Buffalo offense.
1(16) New York Jets Marquan Pickels LB 6'4" 260 Marshall A
Pick Analysis: Pickels defenintely has the funniest last name of the draft, but he also could be a big steal. He's
unpolished, playing for a small school like Marshall, but has tremendous talent. If anyone can get the most out of
                    him, it's Rex Ryan.
1(17) Pittsburgh Steelers Risean Harris FS 6'2" 201 Texas Tech C
Pick Analysis: Risean is expected to step into Pittsburgh and immediately fight for at least the backup safety role,
if not, even a starter over veteran Ryan Clark. He's got incredible speed and great size. Very good fit in the Steelers
                    defense.
1(18) Dallas Cowboys DeMarcus McTroup LB 6'3" 255 Kansas State A
Pick Analysis: With the untimely retirement of DeMarcus Ware, the Cowboys were in dire need of getting a
replacement. They had looked into moving up a number of times, looking at sixteenth selection, Marquan Pickels
but never came to a deal. They get McTroup here and potentially got the better end of the deal.
1(19) Green Bay Packers Corey Dutch WR 6'3" 224 USF A
Pick Analysis: Mike McCarthy sure knows what he's doing when it comes to receivers. Dutch slipped through the
cracks and ends up here with the Packers just inside the top twenty. With the retirement of Donald Driver, Dutch
                    is an immediate help.
1(20) Arizona Cardinals (to Giants) Jermaine Jackson OT 6'11" 327 Georgia Tech A
Pick Analysis: The Giants trade down ten picks and still get the player they were looking at before the trade. Jackson
is probably the second best tackle in this draft and is absolutely huge at 6'11". He could take a year or two to
develop fully, but he'll be a hell of a player when he does.
1(21) St. Louis Rams Tyrus Hardy CB 5'9" 202 Washington C
Pick Analysis: With a fairly lacking defensive back core, Hardy provides great depth. Although many feel that Razor
Marshall was a better choice here, the Rams liked the undersized Hardy better.
                    1(22) Cincinnati Bengals Jaison Marques-Abdul DT 6'3" 300 Pittsburgh A
Pick Analysis: JM-A as he likes to be called, appears to be a player that may need a year or two to get going, but has
tremendous upside. Watch for him to play the role of backup this year and potentially move into the starting
                    lineup in 2013.
                    1(23) Chicago Bears Landon Drake LB 5'11" 250 S. Illinois B
Pick Analysis: Brian Urlacher is 34 and entering the final year of his contract. Landon Drake could be the heir to
the coveted middle linebacker position. He's a little under-sized, but makes up for it in talent.
1(24) Kansas City Chiefs Andrew Adams DE 6'4" 264 Arizona B
Pick Analysis: Adams has the potential to play anywhere, end, tackle, and even slip out to linebacker if needed. He
could be one of the more complete defensive players in the draft.
1(25) Minnesota Vikings Kareem Royster FS 5'11" 205 Miami A
Pick Analysis: A sleeper pick here, Royster comes into Minnesota to take over for Madieu Williams, who after
earning a big contract, has essentially done very little for the team. Questions regarding his character let Royster
fall through the cracks, but if Brad Childress can keep it together, he'll be incredible.
1(26) Tennessee Titans (to Browns) Aaron Weaks WR 6'7" 217 Maryland C
Pick Analysis: Weaks is ridiculous. He's tall, big, and pretty damn quick. He's got everything needed to be a star
in the NFL, and with Kevin Kolb tossing him the football, expect great things.
1(27) New England Patriots (to Panthers) Razor Marshall CB 5'10" 190 Oklahoma A
Pick Analysis: Using the pick from the Patriots in the Stewart trade, the Panthers take quite possibly the best
cornerback in the draft. Marshall has great upside and decent size. He should work his way up the depth
                    chart in no time.
1(28) Washington Redskins (to Chargers) Adrian Robinson WR 6'2" 207 LSU C
Pick Analysis: Robinson is a slot receiver at his finest. Good size, good speed, he's a solid all around athlete, but
as a receiver, may never have that pure number one receiver talent in him. Etiher way, after moving down, not bad
by the Chargers to give Philip Rivers more talent.
1(29) Baltimore Ravens Aaron Smith SS 5'11" 203 Notre Dame C
Pick Analysis: The Ravens decide to go against looking at the best player overall and look towards depth. Smith is
one of the top safeties in the draft, but may have still been around later in the second round. Time will tell how it
                    pays off.
1(30) New Orleans Saints Kent Aker OT 6'5" 312 Indiana D
Pick Analysis: At 33, starting tackle Jon Stinchcomb is beginning to find that age of decline. Aker provides depth
and essentially a possibilty to learn and move into a starting role down the road.
1(31) Atlanta Falcons Damian Metoyer CB 6'1" 185 Tulane D
Pick Analysis: Easily the worst pick of the first round. The Falcons could have had plenty of options here, yet
elected to take a cornerback slated to be taken a round later. Metoyer does have good size and speed but lacks the
true skills to be an NFL cornerback.
1(32) Houston Texans Andrew Snead HB 6'2" 235 Rice B
Pick Analysis: Snead was probably the best available option wth the last pick in the draft. Although the Texans
may have been able to find a better choice here to fit their needs, but Snead is a great pick here.

                      2012 NFL Draft
                      Tennessee Titans Recap

                      TITANS NFL DRAFT
                      2 9 QB Jacory Abraham 80 A
                      2 11 OG Courtney Fair 75 B
                      2 26 CB Bingo Johnson 85 A
                      3 9 OT Karrington Murray 72 C
                      4 11 DE Mike Soldivieri 63 C
                      4 26 WR Darien Tracy 66 D
                      5 26 LB A.J. Carey 58 D
                      6 26 CB Tyson Thomas 58 D
                      7 26 DT Vincent Inglesi 60 D

                      QB Jacory Abraham
He’s the most complete quarterback of the draft. He seems to have good speed, average accuracy, and a solid deep ball. Although spending my first pick on the draft on a quarterback may not have been the wisest choice, as a cornerback or offensive guard would have been a better selection here, we’ve got another pick coming up in real soon and one more before the end of the round to spend on those positions. Abraham can come in and give Dennis [Dixon] a fight for the starting spot this season and make things interesting.

                      OG Courtney Fair
This could be a stretch. Fair was expected to go in the mid to late third round and we’re taking him here with the forty-third overall selection. That said, it’s time to look at the needs of the team rather than the best pick available. Fair looks to be a solid athlete with typical size [6’7” 291lbs] to step in and start for the Titans in place of recently released guard, Jake Scott. He comes into a team with a very established offensive line and will need to pick things up quick to keep up with them.

                      CB Bingo Johnson
Another stretch as Bingo was slated to be taken in the third round; however, it was time to take a cornerback here. With three players on the board; Jared Player, Bingo Johnson, and Jamison Marcy, I went with the one that had the best compliment of size and speed. Bingo not only ran the fastest 40 time [4.29] but he’s also the tallest [6’0”] of the three and should fit in well opposite Cortland Finnegan down the road. Take that and add in seeing him in a previous draft on the boards, he’s my kind of pick.

                      OT Karrington Murray
Depth was the name of the game here. Although I was seriously looking at the 6’6 receiver D.J. Hunter out of UNLV, my receiver core is fine for the time being and after the injuries to the offensive line last season, I could use all the depth I can get. That said, Murray is huge at 6’9” and 305 pounds and looks to be one of the stronger of the offensive linemen in this draft. Murray is versatile as well, can play either tackle position or even guard at times if needed.

                      DE Mike Soldivieri
Another depth pick here. Again I wanted a receiver, and although there were a could of slot guys on my list that looked good, I decided to forgo the pick and hope one sticks around at the end of the round when I’ve got another pick. Soldivieri provides great depth behind Derrick Morgan on the line.

                      WR Darien Tracy
As luck would have it, there was just one of my big board receivers left fifteen picks after Soldivieri’s pick. Tracy is a Wes Welker type player with excellent speed and quickness. However, questions regarding his route running could become an issue, especially as a slot receiver. Tracy will need to work his way up the depth chart over training camp for the possibility of seeing time in the upcoming season.

                      LB A.J. Carey
Almost went with another offensive lineman here, but Carey appears to be a solid pick here that can give the linebacker core some much needed depth. He’s got prototypical size at 6’3 and 240lbs, and should step in well for depth.

                      CB Tyson Thomas
A little bit of depth hear. Tye Hill should end up being set to just a glorified return man and Thomas can step in as the fifth cornerback.

                      DT Vincent Inglesi
For a late round pick, the guy seems to have some great upside. Good speed, excellent strength, and a power move that puts even some professionals to shame.

Jacory slipped down to 2nd round? nice catch he landed right in your lap and you need a QB too!

As for Bingo... well I have a special fondness for one Bingo Johnson

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with that. That said, he probably would of gone right around there, if I hadn't taken him at 9 or 11 in that round, there's no way I would of gotten him at 26. Bingo, who I did get there, is going to be excellent.

That said, in true football form, both will have to earn their starting role. My starting QB going into the preseason will be Dixon and McCourty is the #2 cornerback as of right now. If either outperform the rookie, then the rookie will sit. That's all there is to it. I might get a "training camp" post out later tonight. Revis is on the move.

                              Tennessee Titans Notes
                              • Position battles are going to be the name of the game this preseason. Rookies will start off as a backup in some positions and will try to earn a starting spot. The most notable of those is the quarterback position where Dennis Dixon and rookie Jacory Abraham will fight for the starting role. Head coach Jeff Fisher announced that Dixon will start their first game against the Green Bay Packers. The other notable position battle is the second cornerback spot where rookie Bingo Johnson and young Jason McCourty will face off. Fisher has stated that both will play with the first team at times over the course of the four games.
                              • The Titans plan letting a pair of rookies fight for a starting spot at guard. They plan on starting second round pick Courtney Fair start and go against undrafted free agent Dillon Vinopal of SMU.
                              • CJ2K ready to step back for the spotlight in order to make it to the Super Bowl. Johnson has announced this year that he'd like a more balanced attack in 2012, which may mean he sees less yards, but hopes that it will, in turn, help the Titans make it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2000.
                              • Tuck back from his injuries, ready to step up. Justin Tuck appeared to most in 2011 to be a bust after what the Titans spent to trade for him with his injuries. He's back for 2012 however and is ready to go. "Last year was a disappointment for sure. That said, I'm ready for this year. I'm ready for a new beginning."

                              NFL News and Notes
                              • Jets Revis expects to be traded before the preseason begins. Darrelle Revis has had enough of being underpaid. The all pro cornerback wants a new team and a new deal. There are a number of teams that have expressed interest in Revis, but it's unclear who many want to spend what the Jets are more than likely asking for him. The front runners now the 49ers, Redskins, Lions, and Bears.
                              • Can the Texans repeat? Experts say no. The Texans did very little to improve their team this off-season and had an average at best draft. Sources feel like the Titans have improved as well as the Colts are ready to return to form, leaving the Texans in hopes of sneaking into the playoffs. But then again, isn't that what they did last year?
                              • Watch out for the Panthers this year. Although they finished a dismal 4-12 last year, the Panthers had a pair of first round picks after the Jonathan Stewart trade and they improved both their defensive line and defensive backfield. They could be a sleeper team in 2012 and might even win their division with a little bit of luck.

yeah position battles are definitely needed.. I did that as well for my franchises using the pre-season to evaluate how my rookies played and fit on the team

as for Bingo, he's capable enough to immediately be your 2nd CB or 3rd at the least..
