WEEK 9 RECAP
EWU struggle in Non-Conference play against the Pac-10 losing to WSU, Washington and Oregon State, but since moving to Conference play in the WAC they have looked like a completly different team.
For the 4th straight game, SR RB Taiwann Jones has dominated the opposing Defense and Coach Holland's team was no different today. Missing the entire 1st half with a bruised shoulder, Jones came to play in the 2nd half running the ball 17 times for 194 yds (11.4 Avg) and 3 TD's. His backup SR D. Beaumonte showed he too could run the ball when needed rushing for 104 yds (6.9 Avg) on 15 carries well scoring a TD in the first half.
FINAL SCORE EWU-60 NMSU-20
KEY PLAYERS
QB-Bo Levi Mitchell-15/28 296 3 TD 2 INT
RB T. Jones-17 carries 194 yds (11.4 Avg) 3 TD
RB D. Beaumonte-15 carries 104 yds (6.9 Avg) 1 TD
WR B. Kauffman-8 rec 132 yds 1 TD
WR N. Edwards 3 rec 108 yds (36.0 Avg) 1 TD
POST GAME COMMENTS BY COACH BALDWIN
"I can't say enough about T. Jones, the kid is a absolute animal. 11.4 yds per carry is just amazing. I give Coach Holland alot of respect he has really turned things around at NMSU, but his team just wasn't ready to stop Jones today. I think they are lucky I sat him out in the 1st half, If not I think we could've seen NCAA history today with a new rushing record."

Re: 2 Teams=2 Dreams (BSU and EWU Quest for Perfection)
Okay I am not going to get in the NCAA Around the Recap Tonight or Week 10. Hope to get that up tomorrow as well as a Recap on the Herbies. Then maybe on Sunday when I get off at 6 I will have time to get in a couple games and recaps for Monday. Look for alot of stuff on Tues/Wed. After working 5 straight days open to close I am going to be ready for a couple of days of nothing but sitting on the couch or my computer chair.Comment

Re: 2 Teams=2 Dreams (BSU and EWU Quest for Perfection)
Today is the last day of our sale from 10-8. So if I am not to wiped out when I get home, I plan on getting in the Week 10 Recap as well as Recruiting. Then tomorrow and Wed (Days off) I hopefully can roll through alot of games, this season has taken me alot longer then I had hoped. I am ready to see my incoming class in Bronco uni's.

Re: 2 Teams=2 Dreams (BSU and EWU Quest for Perfection)
WEEK 10 RECAP
EAGLES DOMINATE WYOMING IN WAC SHOWDOWN!!
SR QB Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 300 yds and 3 TD's in the 1st half as EWU continues it's domination of the WAC. With the 32-7 lead, SR RB T. Jones would get a healthy dose of carries in the 3rd Quarter as he picks up yet another 100 yd rushing performance. Both 2nd Team Units would play the 4th Quarter in the blowout win.
FINAL SCORE EWU-55 WYOMING-21
KEY PLAYERS
QB B. Mitchell-17/22 355 yds 4 TD
RB T. Jones-23 carries 107 yds (4.6 Avg) 1 TD
WR B. Kauffman-8 rec 183 yds 2 TD
TE R. Williams 3 rec 43 yds 2 TD
DE R. Williams 3 Tackles (3 TFL) 1 Sack
COACH BALDWIN'S COMMENTS
"This was by far Mitchell's best game of the season. Wyoming had the intentions of stopping Taiwan from having a huge game, and Bo delivered. Brandon continues to show he is one of the best WR in the country and R. Williams continues to give opposing QB's nightmares. I am very proud of how this team is playing"Comment

Obviously the big winner so far has to be USC having signed 4 Hearbies and currently have signed 12 players overall with the #1 Current Recruiting Class. They will look to continue to add to that class with the committment from Herbie Michael James. Not far behind them is Florida. The Gators have also signed 4 Herbies and have 7 5* prospects Overall giving them the #2 class. Oklahoma gets 2 huge signings stealing away LT Kesley Charles and TE TJ Deuce from the Boise State Broncos. The Sooners have the #5 Class. Virginia Tech has also made some noise signing 2 Herbies QB Harlee James and #1 WR Justin Blanton they should make for a deadly Combo. The Hokies have the #6 Overall Class. Texas lands 2 of the best RB's in the nation in Cecil White and Speer Hopson which gives them the #9 Overall Class.
With the early signing of the #1 Overall and #1 RB in the nation (Robertson Howard). Boise State used Howard to reach out to several other top players in the nation to come to Boise and help him win a National Title.
Well QB Corey Haas was quick to say yes when told he would be the only QB signed and have 1st chance at replacing SR Kellen Moore. With Haas signing fellow "Herbie" QB Jay Randolph had his scholarship rescended and is now left choosing between FSU and LSU.
Most likely Haas's #1 target next year will be 5* Matt Lykell #2 Overall player in this years recruiting class. Lykell is a gifted athete who can line up all over the field, but most likely will be a WR when he hits the "Blue". At 6'5 Lykell is a huge target..
With the signing of Haas and Lykell, BSU now has 4 players under scholarhip for next season and is currently ranked #25 Overall
EWU SECURES 5 COMMITTMENTS!!!
Coming off a 9-4 season with a Bowl victory , Coach Baldwin knew this year's recruiting class would be the key to keeping that success flowing, with the graduation of 16 Seniors this year. Needing replacements for starting QB Bo Mitchell, RB T. Jones and DE R. Williams being the "Big 3" and also finding future WR's with 4 JR's and 2 SR's currently on the roster" Here is a list of the 5 who have signed and the 10 who have so far given soft committments.
