WEEK 1

FINAL SCORE EWU-83 MONTANA-7

That's right folks, you don't need to adjust your television set or your eye glasses, you are seeing correctly. EWU put up 83 points in the Opening Week win over former Big Sky rival Montana.

RB Tawain Jones dominated the 1st Quarter scoring 3 TD's as EWU took a 21-0 lead. Then it was the Bo Levi Mitchell to Brandon Kauffman show. The Duo hooked up on TD pass's of 56 yds and 65 yds, before T. Jones broke off a 71 yd TD score with less then a minute to play as EWU lead 45-7 at the half.

In the 3rd Quarter it was Mitchell to Kauffman (33 yds) for the 3rd score of the day and OLB T. Washburn took a INT 73 yds for the "Pick 6" as EWU lead 62-7 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

With Mitchell on the sideline for the 4th Quarter, Tawain Jones would rack up a career day breaking the score record for most yards in a game with 371 and by scoring 2 more TD's (50 yds and 1 yd) he scored a school record 6 TD's!!!

Jones wasn't the only one to join the school record books. WR Brandon Kauffman showed he could haul in passes from anyone as he took a 66 yd pass from backup QB G. Panelli to the house for his 4th TD of the day (School Record) and his 8 rec for 298 yds was also a school record.

**(I am going to go back to my tradiational game by game writeup with boxscores but wanted to get these 3 games up so you guy's had something to read and comment on.. Also this will be the last time I schedule a FCS School, I don't know what the deal is because I figured they would at least put up some type of challenge.)**

Thanks. I just hope he can keep it up. I got a big matchup with Oregon in Week 3. They are ranked #10, well BSU is still #5

I think it's pretty sweet when your QB can throw 6 TD's, and your RB can reach 100 yards rushing.

I've never understood how teams can win the National Championship in this, then come back next yera and NOT be ranked number 1... But good job against Montana! lol they need to make the FCS schools better. it kinda pisses me off.

Coach Dalton Henry's debut was spoiled as the Gophers fall 33-17 to Texas Tech.

Coach Nick Anderson get's his 1st Career Win as the Buffs beat Utah State 49-14.

WEEK 2 AROUND THE NATION

Coach K. McCloud fails to pick up the win, as ECU falls 31-17 to Duke.

Coach Dustin Tweedy also fails to pickup Career Win #1 as EMU falls to Arizona 38-20

Coach James White picks up Career win #1 with a 31-10 win over instate rival Eastern Kentucky (FCS)

VS

After falling to Texas Tech in Week 1, Coach D. Henry gets career win #1 as he took on another Rookie Head Coach in Ernst Holland. Final Score 34-10.

Coach Philip Henderson gets career win #1 as the Falcons defeat former Mac rival Ball State (now a FCS school) 45-13.

Coach Eston Claw gets career win #1 as the RedHawks defeat UC Davis (FCS West) 51-23.

Coach Anderson's Buffs fall short in a 14-7 loss to Oklahoma State.

The Tide picked up a impressive win beating Penn State 31-20 in a non-conference matchup.

The Buckeyes are shocked as Boston College hands them a 34-24 loss. With the loss OSU falls to #12 well BC climbs into the Top-25 at #23.

I guess they look at the fact that BSU lost 15 Seniors, with 4 of them starters on Offense and 4 starters on Defense.

Still at least I got ranked in the Top-10. If I can win out (I need to beat Oregon) then I think I will have a shot at climbing up to the #1/#2 spot.

Yeah tell me about it. I was hoping for a challenge and make up a cool story about playing Montana, but that was just sad.

I am going to take a break and play some COD Black Ops, then bust out my game against Oregon and hopefully my EWU game against Oregon State..

The recruits were made this season so odds are, none of them have committed. I assume he'll post an update sometime soon though.

Correct I will have Recruiting Update in Week 5. I will post if the player has signed and if not who is offering and who his Top-5 Schools are.
