Yep. Caps will start with the 2011 season for both Coaches and Players. I need to know where you want Coach Ernst Holland to take over.

If you want him in Texas he will have to wait a year. There are no schools in Texas with a opening.

The list of schools available is in the Coaching/Caps thread. I can give him Washington State if you want to come to the North. I am going to start the new season tomorrow.

Okay. So I just finished simming the 2010 season. I updated Page 1 with Team Info regarding both BSU and EWU. I also posted on Page 1 what Coaches will be taking over new teams for the 2011 season. I will post a writeup about the Coaches in the my 2011 Preview Coming soon. Also I decided to combine all the Caps I have recieved for here as well as Coach Dodge, so there will be 25 Created Recruits for the 2011 Season, so this is going to take some time getting everyone made. Again on Page 1 you can see the list of the Herbies for the 2011 Season. I will not be taking any more Caps until the 2015 season.

Thanks again to all those you are as excited as I am about seeing this dynasty project take off.

              2010 RECAP

The 2010 Season was a success for the Eastern Washington Eagles. Playing their first season in Division I football in the WAC Conference, the Eagles played better then expected finishing 5-3 in Conference play finishing in 3rd Place behind 2 of the teams that beat them (Wyoming and Colorado State). The Eagles also had success in non-conference play beating Cal 19-16 on the road.

For the 8-4 Record and 3rd place finish the Eagles were invitied to New Mexico to play in the New Mexico Bowl where they would face the 7-5 Missouri Tigers.

EWU would play their best game of the year against the Tigers, as QB Bo Levi Mitchell would break the school record passing for 533 yds and 2 TD's, well RB Tawain Jones would rush for 96 yds and score 3 times leading the Eagles to a 45-42 win!!!

Coach Beau Baldwin used the 8 win + Bowl Victory to it's full potential hauling in the #85 Recruiting Class signing 22 players in all (9-3* and 13-2*).

With QB Bo Levi Mitchell and RB Tawain Jones returning to lead the Offense, Coach Baldwin hit the Defense side of the ball hard landing 3* Defensive Backs (CB R. Williams #96, CB B. Holt #73, and CB P. Holt #66). He also signed OLB R. Yates #99 to replace WAC All-American JC Sherritt and signed DE S. Matthews #113 to team up along side NCAA All-American Renard Williams who finished with a team high 13.5 Sacks.

Knowing that have protection and blocking for his 2 stars, Coach Baldwin also landed 3-3* O-Lineman in (Tackles P. Moyer #64, M. Arnold #68 and Center K. Wilcox #38)

                2010 RECAP

The Broncos started the 2010 season with high hopes and expectations as they were PreSeason Ranked #5 in the nation. After beating #8 Virginia Tech on the road 51-48 and then squeaking by Oregon State on "The Blue" 38-35, the Broncos went on to dominate in their 1st season in the MWC Conference as well as beating non-conference foes Wyoming and Tulsa at home, Boise State would finish the year a perfect 12-0, earning a chance to play in the National Championship Game for the 1st time in school history.

                #1 VS #2

Not only was this the first time a Non-AQ school (not from a BCS Conference) was playing for a National Title it was the first time that 2 Non-AQ schools would be playing. After being moved from a BCS Conference (Big East/Midwest) the Bearcats domintated the MAC Conference winning the Ohio Conference as well as the MAC Championship game over Temple to finish the year 13-0 the only other undefeated team in the nation besides the Broncos and for their efforts they edged out the #3 USC Trojans in the Final BCS Rankings.

Cincinnati was lead by Heisman Winner QB Zach Colleros who threw for 3500 yds and rushed for 505 yds durning the season well scoring a total of 38 TD's.

However in the National Championship game he was out played by both QB Kellen Moore (Finished 4th in the Heisman) 497 yds 3 TD's Passing 1 TD Rushing and the Broncos Defense (6 Sacks, 1 Fumble). Collaros finished with a disappointing 12/27 for 109 yds.

Kellen Moore Comments "This was a huge win not just for me personally, but my teammate, the school, the fans, and the nation!!"

                FINAL SCORE BSU-42 CINCINNATI-9

Coach Peterson and his staff used the perfect season and National Championship to it's full potential as well as they landed the #10 Class in the Country signing 20 players (10-4*, 9-3* and 1-2* Kicker)

After the National Championship Game both QB K. Moore and RB D. Martin announced they would return hoping to help guide a repeat performance.

Knowing his offense was in good hands for at least a year, Coach Pete concentrated his efforts on the Defense side of the ball as well as looking for the next great BSU QB. He scored 100% on both.
                KEY SIGNINGS/ (Pos Ranking)

                4* CB B. Moss (#8)
                4* DE L. Wood (#13)
                4* DE L. Petty (#21)
                4* FS K. Williams (#10)
                4* MLB R. Williams (#10)
                4* SS D. Barber (#7)
                4* QB D. Hill (#13)
                4* QB J. Fraizer #15)
                4* LT T. Allen (#8)
                4* HB M. Justice (#20)

Coach Peterson comments "I am very excited about this class. Not only do we feel like Fraizer and Hill have a excellence chance of challenging for the chance to be the starting QB in 2012, but we also love 3* Athlete (#7) Andrew Carlson (6'2 211 lbs)"

I WILL BE POSTING THE WINNERS OF THE OTHER BCS BOWLS AND THE SCHOOL THAT LANDED THE #1 RECRUITING CLASS ON PAGE 1 IN MY SEASON BY SEASON RECAPS.

9 COACHING CHANGES FOR THE 2011 SEASON

After a 15-30 Record from 2007-2010 Tim Brewster was fired. Replacing him is a man we don't know much about. Coach Datlon Henry (Footballfan4life)

Coach Henry "My strategy from Day 1 will be to improve our passing game and focus on scoring points. We also will be switching from the 4-3 Defense to the 3-4. I believe that we have the speed in our Linebacker core to do a better job at stopping the run, as we will blitz as often as possible"

When Coach Dan Hawkins was hired away from Boise State, Buffalo fans had high hopes, but Coach Hawk struggled away from "The Blue" going 19-39 after compling a 53-11 record at BSU. The man replacing Coach Hawkins is Coach Nick Anderson (mnwildgophers). Not much is known about Coach Anderson other then he is from the Midwest and has been very successful in past coaching stops.

Coach Anderson "I have alot of respect for what Coach Hawk tried to do here in Boulder, but Buff fans deserve more. This program has had success in the past and I plan on bringing it back. Rumors are Coach Anderson runs a very high power super aggressive passing attack as well as switching the Gophers to a 3-4 Defense attack."

Ruffin McNeill time at ECU was shorted lived. After serving as the Offensive Coordinator at Texas Tech helping establish the Red Raiders high scoring passing attack, Ruffin took over for the Pirates, but after struggling going 2-9 Overall and 1-7 in their 1st season in the ACC, ECU officials wanted a change. In comes Coach Kieren McCloud (Gloves82)

Coach McCloud has helped coach at Missouri the past 3 years and is looking to keep the passing attack established by Coach McNeill but with his own twist (Mizz Playbook). He also has stated like many of the other coaches around the league, he will be switching to the 3-4 Defense.

Coach McCloud "I don't think Coach McNeill really got a chance to show what he could do, but I am gratefull for this opportunity and hope I don't let down the Pirate players, fans and alumi"

Once a powerhouse in the MAC Conference winning 10 Conference Championships, the Falcons have fallen on tough times (havn't won a title since 1992). Bowling Green has announced that Philip Henderson (Phlstar) will take over in 2011.

Coach Henderson has helped serve under former Falcon Head Coach Urban Myer both at Utah and most currently at Florida.

Rumor is Coach Henderson runs a very balance but super aggressive Offensive attack and also runs a very aggressive 4-3 Defense.

After winning just 2 games (2-22) in his 2 seasons at EMU, Ron English has been fired. In comes Coach Dustin Tweedy (Altari1881). Not much is known about Coach Tweedy other then that he is coming from the NFL, having served as a Offensive Assistant for the Oakland Raiders under Tom Cable.

Playing in CUSA, Coach Tweedy has stated that his team needs to work on establishing a ground attack that can eat up the clock and win close games, using a 4-2-5 Defense that is gradually becoming more popular throughout College Football.

Unless you are a College Football geek you might not realize that the University of Miami OH has been a Coaching Hotbed. For years Coaches have used the Redhawks program as a stepping stone on their way to the next high profile job.

(Past Head Coaches- Earl Blaik, Paul Brown, Woody Hayes, Bill Arnsparger, George Little, Weeb Ewbank, Sid Gillman, Ara Parseghian, Bo Schembechler, John Pont, Carmen Cozza, Bill Mallory,Jim Tressel, Joe Novak, Ron Zook, Dick Crum, Paul Dietzel, William Narduzzi, Randy Walker, John Harbaugh, Gary Moeller, Larry Smith, Dick Tomey, Sean Payton and Terry Hoeppner.)

Next in that line of Coaches will be Eston Claw (MidnightClaw)

Not much is know about Coach Claw other then he runs a very aggressive offense that is geared more toward the run and prefers the standard 4-3 Defense.

It's not every day that you see a College Football program hire a Coach who has only coached Pop Warner Football, but the Aggies did it today, when they announced that Coach Ernst Holland (KesleyPro) will be running the program in 2011. Coach Holland has been a very successfull Pop Warner Coach in Texas, having helped produced hunderds of future NFL players. NMSU now hopes he can use those Texas ties to help Recruit better talent to the program.

Coach Holland runs a spread offense, and is know as a risk taker, willing to go for it on 4th down every time. He also runs a 4-3 Defense.

Coach Holland "Kickers should stick to Soccer, Football doesn't need them"

The Hilltoppers have struggled since moving to Div I in 2009, starting out in the SunBelt Conference. Last year didn't get any easier for WKU as they moved to CUSA. Now playing against instate rivals Kentucky and Louisville, the Hilltoppers finished a disappointing 3-9 and just 1-7 in Conference play.

Looking to change that this year is Head Coach James White (JJ4). Coach White comes from the June Jones mold, believing you shoudl pass at least 85% of the time and will look to run a similar style of Offense here as well. He also has noted he too will run with the 4-2-5 Defense that has got the attention of teams throughout both College Football and the NFL.

Washington State once was a Pac-10 Powerhouse and has produced NFL Quarterbacks for years, However since Coach Mike Price left in 2002, the Cougars program has gone downhill. Hoping to change things, WSU hired local legend Paull Wulff away from EWU, but Coach Wulff has struggled going just 5-32 and is coming off a 2-10 record that saw the Cougars fail to win a Pac-10 game for the 2nd straight year.

With the addition of Utah and Colorado, it's now the Pac-12 with a Conference Championship game, and WSU can't sit back and continue to be the bottom feeder team of the conference. In comes Coach Joe Nelson (JPCaveman)

Coach Nelson "I know the Pac-12 favors the pass and I know that WSU has always been a passing style attack offense, but things need to change and I feel that we are best served to go in a radically different direction. I plan on establishing a I-Formation Option Attack. We will run the ball 85% of the time. We will continue to run a 4-3 style Defense because I do feel like we have young talent on that side of the ball that is already use to that system"

Alright guys.. I am just finishing up the recruits and getting ready to start the new season. I am pumped. I still go to input all the Coaching Sliders but figure I can atleast play my Week 1 game before taking a couple hours to work on that project.

By the way Happy New Years to all. My wife is stick and I have to work tomorrow (10-4) so we are just kicking it at home listen to the neighbors light off fireworks, but for those who are out and about stay safe and don't drink and drive.

Coach McCloud would like to announce that Ruffin McNeill will stay with the team as the OC. Btw, I like the write-ups for the coaches. Those were fun to read. Happy New Years to you as well! Can't wait till this gets started!!!

Congrats on the big national championship and a nice recruiting class! Also, really enjoyed the write ups for the coaches. EWU looks like they had a nice year too, I'm excited to see how this all plays out.

Good luck the next year. I hope you can repeat with Boise and hopefully get an invite to a major conference.

Glad you guys like the writeups. I didn't really want BSU to win the National Title in Year 1 without me running the show, but now that they did, my challenge is to repeat. I figure if I do, then I should have a pretty good chance of getting an invite.

I am very happy with how my recruiting classes turned out for both teams. I am pumped to get the depth charts up, and get going on games. Hope to have recaps for both teams depth chart/team preview, schedules and the Top-25 PreSeason tomorrow, so I can start playing and posting games on Sunday and Monday.

SEVERAL BIG NAMES CHOOSE PRO'S EARLY

After the 2010 Season was over players from across the nation had to decide would they return for another season and a chance to help their school play for a National Title, or would they leave early ready to cash in on their big payday.

Kellen Moore and Doug Martin both turned down a chance to see where they might go in the draft for a chance to repeat as National Champs, but others were unwilling to make that choice. Here is a list of some of the Impact Offensive Players who choose to leave early.

"Obviously seeing Mallet,Pryor and Newton decide to turn Pro was not a shock to everyone in fact it was the guys who decided to stay (A. Luck) that shocked everyone. Also every knew M. Ingram was done at the end of the year, but all the talk coming out of Eugene was that L. James would be returning to Oregon. With James leaving early K. Barner and D. Williams will carry the load along with L. Seastrunk at HB for the Ducks. With Ingram and Julio Jones leaving Alabama will be missing 2 explosive offensive players alot is riding on the arm of A. McCarron and SR HB T. Richardson."

JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GO PRO DIDN'T MEAN THEY WERE STAYING EITHER
