    QB Matt Barkley-USC
    QB Z. Collaros-Cincinnati (Last year's winner)
    QB L. Jones-Oklahoma
    TE B. Reliford-Florida State

Ryne Dezaron Comments- "Moore has the inside track. He played amazing last year throwing for over 4000 yds 41 TD's and just 4 INT. Had the voting taken place after the National Championship game, he would've either won himself or at least taken away votes from Collaros to help C. Ponder or D. Moore win. Seeing no RB's or WR's in the Top-5 was a surprise but nothing more then seeing TE B. Reliford get nominated. However he did finished with a pretty amazing year last year (90 Rec 1267 yds 12 TD)"

Yeah I thought you might like that. Now we just have to wait and see if he is the difference maker you need to start winning some games.

Team Depth Charts/Team Previews and Schedules announced tomorrow.

As well as 1st game recaps..

The EWU game was amazing yet horrid at the same time. I think that will be the last time I schedule a FCS Opponent in Week 1. I wanted to make it Montana and have it be a Rivalary game, but as you will soon see the FCS Northwest didn't quite live up to Montana's billing.

Been following this thread and it seems like a really good read. I like your conference reallingments too. But it's a damn shame that they don't have EWU's red turf.

Tell me about it. You have the option of making your field turf, they should give you the ability to make it any color.

                    TEAM REPORT

                    OFFENSE

The Offense runs through the Arm of RS SR Bo Levi Mitchell a transfer from SMU who passed for 3119 yds 22 TD's and 12 INT last season and the legs of SR RB Tawain Jones (318 carries 912 yds 10 TD's).

The WR Core has alot of depth led by SR G. Herd (50 Rec 532 yds 4 TD) and T. Hart (35 Rec 431 yds 4 TD), but the keys to this passing attack will be 6'5 JR B. Kauffman (32 Rec 419 1TD) and 6'3 JR N. Edwards (33 Rec 317 yds 2 TD) as well as FR TE R. Williams who must replace last year's leading target SR TE D. Martin (90 Rec 1000 yds 9 TD)

The Offensive Line will need time to grow as a Unit, with 3 new starters this season and has alot of very young inexperience depth.

Coach Baldwin comments "Obviously this will be a huge year for us with 10 Seniors, including 7 starters, we will have to hit recruiting hard in hopes of landing our next Tawain Jones as well add depth at WR and HB. Our QB situation will also be address. RS JR N. Gauthier will be battling B. James and T. Peoples (both redshirting) for a chance to replace Mitchell, but we will also continue to look for a possible 4 yr starter in this year's class"

*Notes*- QB B. Mitchell, HB T. Jones, WR G. Herd are all 1st Team All-WAC Preseason and WR T. Hart is 2nd Team All-WAC

                    DEFENSE

Defensive Line- This unit is solid with NCAA and WAC All-American LE Renard Williams returning for his Senior year. Last season Williams shocked the nation when he finished with 83 Tackles (47 Solo/32 TFL) and an amazing 13.5 Sacks and SR RE D. Miles 74 Tackles (34 Solo/21 TFL, 6.5 Sacks) and JR DT E. Cook 21 Tackles (8 TFL 3.0 Sacks) are both 2nd Team All-WAC selections.

Linebackers- Gone is All-WAC JC Sherritt, but this Unit still has alot of expierence starting with RS JR P. Ena 71 Tackles (30 Solo, 11 TFL, 3 Sacks, and 11 Pass Deflections) and SR Z. Johnson 28 Tackles

Defensive Backs- The Cornerback posistion is young and unproven, but has alot of depth and should be solid in a year or 2. SR SS M. Johnson (56 Tackles/31 Solo, 2 INT) is the leader of his unit and will have huge shoes to fill.

Coach Baldwin comments "I really love our D-Line, they make huge players and get after the opposing player, finding replacements for Williams and Miles will be the key to our future. Our LB Core is solid but we will need to find alot of depth this year in recruiting. Our DB's are unproven, but I love our depth and think that if we can get this unit to work together they can become very good"

*Notes*- MLB P. Ena was named to the 2nd Team All-WAC Preseason.

                    SPECIAL TEAMS

Kicker M. Jarrett must get better (14/26 FG's last season) and could be replaced by RS SO Punter C. Hoffman (41 yd Avg Punt last year).

Tawain Jones will not only get 300+ carries at HB, but will also return kicks and punts looking to help this team score any way they can.

Coach Baldwin comments "We will continue to look for kickers in this year's class but feel that Hoffman has the ablities to also handle the Field Goal responsibilites. We will also continue to look to add speed and explosivness to our team to help with the return game"

                      TEAM REPORT

                      OFFENSE

QB Kellen Moore returns hoping to guide his team to another perfect season and a chance to repeat as National Champs. Finishing 4th last year in the Heisman (4000+ yds 41 TD 4 INT), Moore will look to take home the hardware this year. He will be challenge though because his top 2 targets (T. Young/A. Pettis-Combined 189 Rec 2000+ yds and 20 TD's) are gone. Looking to replace them will be RS SR T. Shoemaker (55 Rec 836 yds 7 TD) and RS SO Kirby Moore his little brother who sat out last year as a redshirt looking to add some muscle to his 6'2 frame. However not all the pressure will be on the passing game as RS SR Doug Martin returns to run over defenders. Martin finised last season with 211 carries for 882 yds and 14 TD's well sharing time with J. Avery. This year Martin's backfield partner will be RS SR DJ Harper who has shown flashes of greatness. Both the passing game and running game are in great hands, as the BSU O-Line ranks among the nations best. Left Tackle N. Potter is a future Franchise Tackle and Center T. Byrd is a stud. They also have great young depth with FR Tackle R. Allen ready to make a impact.

Coach Peterson comments "Obviously we have the talent to put up huge #'s on Offense and should have the ability to beat most teams in the nation. I really love the fact that we found 3 great young QB's (A. Carlson,T. Fraizer,D. Hill) to come in and compete with Southwick next season at QB. I think we need to hit RB hard this year, looking for someone to step in and replace Martin/Harper, and of course we will always be on the lookout to add depth at WR and O-Line"

                      DEFENSE
With 9 Senior Starters, this unit is proven and ready to show they are the nations best. Root/McClellin/Winn/Baker make up a dominate D-Line, well H. White,B. Hout,A. Tevis, JC Percy are a amazing Linebacker Core.

Gone is CB B. Thompson and SS J. Johnson, but expect big things from CB's J. Gavins and J. Taylor as well as true FR B. Moss, however the leader of this unit is still FS G. Iloka who loves to hit people

Coach Pete's Comments "We will hit the recruiting trail hard looking for replacements for this great unit. Obviously we have some depth already there, I am really excited at FR L. Petty and T. Wood at the DE spots and RS SO Ricky Tjong A Tjoe at DT and FR OLB V. Mosley (Redshirting), FR CB B. Moss and FR FS K. Williams (Redshirting) are future stars and potential NFL caliber players"

                      SPECIAL TEAMS
FR Kicker S. Brown has big shoes to fill. Kyle Brotzman was a key in putting points on the board and pinning opposing teams deep on kickoffs. RS SR Punter B. Eklin returns for his 5th season and is solid on punts (44.0 Avg), he will take over this year handling kickoffs as well.

CB B. Moss will challenge C. Potter and M. Burroughs for the chance to handle Kickoff and Punt Returns.
