No updates for today and tomorrow most likely. Take this time to comment on my offseason and how you think the Pats will do this season. -
Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
So I got to be one of the few who actually had to work tody, so I was able to clean up all the static posts on page one and add some more images to all the 2012 games. Also I wanted to see how my Patriots compared to the real Patriots so far this year, and I surprised to see a lot of accurate stats. Total yards receiving and yards rushing are extremely close. On defense, total solo tackles and interceptions are close. In the kicking/punting game I found the # punts Mesko did was accurate along with the net yards average.
I think I found an awesome slider set that proves pretty accurate stats for games that are played, but I can't say the same for simulated games though. That would be 1 of few changes I would want to see in Madden 14, accurate sim stats.Comment

Good question. Since this is geared around Mallett, I will keep an updated version of his passing stats and OVR on the first post. Once I get it up, I'll let you know.Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
You know what I would love to do if we had the ability to. Separate some of the better dynasties into a 3 person job.
Person 1 = The Player - Plays each game and records the game itself in HD format. Also in charge of being the GM and making any and all moves.
Person 2 = The Editorialist - Watches each recorded game and provides a recap of the game and the stats of that game. Also puts forth editorial comments on news around the league.
Person 3 = The Stats Guy - Gets sent the save file after each game is played and provides the stats week to week.
What I would give if that was something that could be done. I honestly like doing stats more than playing the games lol.Comment

Re: No More Brady - A Ryan Mallett Patriots Story (Madden 13)
I'm hoping to get some updates tonight. Also, I've changed my "Around the League" to "This Week in Football" or TWIF for short. I will go back and change all previous "Around the League" to this new format for easier viewing.Last edited by JaymeeAwesome; 12-26-2012, 12:44 PM.Comment

Defense, Defense, Defense
Patriots pull out win on the backs of the D
PATRIOTS 17 - Dolphins 10
Foxboro, MA - Who said that you need a dominant offense to win games? Oh right, that was the old Patriots with Brady at the helm. With Mallett in play now the defense has to step up their game. Even with their star Middle Linebacker Brandon Spikes out on injury, a rookie stepped up.
Justice Caine...what a name! He brought Justice to the field (don't laugh at me, I had to say it). Leading the team in tackles with 7, Caine was able to control the Dolphins Offensive run game. Caine wasn't the only newcomer to step up big either. Antoine Cason was able to grab two interceptions and ran one of them back for a touchdown. That was actually the first play of the game.
Steve Gregory and newly acquired Quintin Demps also picked up some INTs. But let's talk about the offense. While not able to get anything going, Mallett and Ridley looked good. Ridley picked up his first 100 yard attack for the year and Mallett was able to hit on over 70% of his passes including one to big tight end Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown.
While this game was nothing special in regards to scoring, it was a pretty exciting game for the low scores. I can't wait to travel to Missouri to face the Kansas City Chiefs next week and see if the win streak can be extended to 3 games. That's it from Foxboro, see ya next week...
No Problem Here - The Patriots won at home this week 17-10 against the Dolphins.@MikeHillEA - Jaymee Gerard said that his guys won't have to practice tomorrow, they earned the day off.
Epic Meltdown - Ryan Tannehill unraveled this week. 4 interceptions led to a 7-10 loss to the Patriots.@RoFloEA - I think Ryan Tannehill went colorblind. Kept throwing the ball to the other team. #Dolphins
