Looks great-- you have a nice, clean and efficient visual style that is fairly refreshing. The small font also adds some style, don't ask me why. I will be following along-- love to see my boy Keenan Allen snag that TD on just the one catch last game.

Again, great look, great approach. I'm in.

Who makes the cut? Chargers position battles:

          Backup QB:

          Charlie Whitehurst:
Charlie started the preseason horribly completing only 9 of his 39 attempts in the first two games, but looked a lot better in the final two. He is a veteran with solid knowledge of the offense, and has rightfully earned the nickname "clipboard Jesus".
          Brad Sorensen:
The rookie drafted in the seventh round out of Southern Utah has not gotten many chances to play this preseason. With Philip Rivers and the starting offense being new to head coach Mike McCoy's offense, it was important for them to get as many reps as possible heading in to the season.

          Backup WR:

          Robert Meachem:
The Chargers, under former general manager A.J. Smith, signed Meachem to a four-year, $25.9 million contract last March, conceivably to replace Vincent Jackson. Instead, they might take a massive cap hit in order for him to leave. Meachem, who established himself as a dangerous deep threat with blazing straight-line speed during his time with the New Orleans Saints, was supposed to step in as the No. 1 guy in San Diego last fall. Instead, he caught just 14 balls—which, going by the guaranteed money is his contract, is a little more than $1 million per reception—for 207 yards and two touchdowns.
          Richard Goodman:
Richard Goodman might only have one reception in this three seasons in the NFL, but as a 6th choice wide receiver, you do not expect to see a lot of balls thrown your way. Unlike Meachem, Goodman can bring the team value as a kick returner, as he proved with his 27,6 average yards per return last season.

          Backup OLB:

          Thomas Keiser:
Thomas Keiser went undrafted in 2011 and spent the first half of the season on Carolina's practice squad. In the finals 8 games of the season, he picked up 4 sacks in 205 snaps. In 2012, he racked up one-half of one sack in 106 snaps before being put on Injured-Reserve with a left elbow injury. He might not be a flashy pass rusher, but has been very solid against the run this preseason, and dominated against the 49ers in the final game. That performance might just be enough for him to make the roster.
          Tourek Williams:
Another rookie who might not make the roster. Williams was drafted in the 6th round back in April, but has been anything but impressive during his time with the Chargers. At the college level he beat offensive linemen with pure athleticism and did relatively well as a raw pass rusher. His inability to beat blocks and make tackles in the open field is a huge concern for the Chargers coaching staff. He’s a quick, nimble guy with a lot of upside, and age is on his side.

The draft, and team building in general, is actually my favorite part of the NFL, so I have already looked at some possible guys to target in the draft. I would love to add a playmaker with my first round pick, but I'll probably end up having to take the best offensive lineman available. Football is won in the trenches, and apart from DJ Fluker I really don't think i have anyone who could be future starters in the league. Nick Hardwick is a solid center, but is not exactly young.

Wide receiver is also a huge need now that Danario Alexander is gone. Vincent Brown and Keenan Allen is talented, but I would love to get a true number 1 target to replace an aging and injury-prone Malcom Floyd.

QB and RB might also end up being needs by the time we reach the off-season as both Philip Rivers and Ryan Mathews has been disappointing the last two seasons in real life. If I end up with a top 5 pick I might have to bring in the best available QB. Especially if it is a mobile guy, as i prefer QBs who can move around in the pocket and buy time.

Apart from Dwight Freeney, Eric Weddle, and maybe Melvin Ingram, we have a pretty weak group of pass rushers and defensive backs. I really like HaHa Clinton-Dix, Anthony Barr, Kyle Van Noy and Marcus Roberson, so I might try and get one of them. Sadly most juniors decided to return to school in my NCAA dynasty, so guys like Loucheiz Purifoy, Jadeveon Clowney and Teddy Bridgewater will not be available.

                Tl;dr: Best player available.

Chargers add three players - Announce 53 man roster

Chargers add three players - Announce 53 man roster

Trades in the NFL are pretty rare, though, come the final few days of the 53-man roster crunch, you can often see a few names changing zip codes, which is exactly what happened with former Cincinnati Bengals defensive backs George Iloka and Brandon Ghee.

The Bengals traded Iloka and Ghee this morning to the San Diego Chargers for a 5th round pick in 2014 and safety Darrell Stuckey, so says ESPN.

The Chargers also brought inn injury-plagued Kendall Hunter from the San Francisco 49ers through waivers. Hunter is expected to serve as the Chargers' starting kick returner and add depth at the running back position.

                  Final Cuts:
                  | Brad Sorensen | HB Edwin Baker | WR Richard Goodman | G Brandyn Dombrowski | LB D.J. Smith | LB Tourek Williams | CB Johnny Patrick | FS Sean Cattouse |

Still not sure about what layout I will be using for games during the regular season. Currently I have three options, and would love to hear you guys' opinion. I'm currently leaning towards B, with some small changes, despite the fact that A is much quicker to do.

A: The one I have been using during the preseason

I personally like option C the best, it's spot on with what ESPN does. I tried to make something like that before, but it wasn't anywhere near as nice as that.
