        Cutler Demands Trade

ESPN Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has went to the teams higher ups and has demanded a trade. Cutler went into the season as the starter but was injured during the first game of the season and was replaced by rookie Derek Carr. The injury only kept Cutler out a week but the Bears decided to move on from him and named Carr the permanent starter.

Cutler was signed to a 3 year $31.2M extension last season. Schefter is also reporting that potential landing spots for Cutler are the Houston Texans, the Cleveland Browns, the Oakland Raiders, and the Tennessee Titans who have lost Jake Locker and Ryan Fitzpatrick to injury.

He went to the Jets in mine, but I think he should go to Tenessee.

Jaguars Remains Undefeated After Blowout Win

Bridgewater didn't let two early picks affect his confidence / Renner had a long days.

The Jacksonville Jaguars improved to 5-0 after thumping the Tennessee Titans 43-10 on the road on Sunday.

Missing their starting QB and their backup, the Titans rookie Bryan Renner and the jaguars gave the rookie a harsh welcome to the NFL. The Jaguars defense finished the day sacking Renner 6 times, forcing 2 fumbles, and picking him of twice on theor way to the easy victory. The former Tar Heel completed 10-of-24 passes for 168 yards and zero touchdowns to go with his two interceptions.

The lone brightspot for the Titans offense was halfback Chris Johnson. Johnson carried the ball 20 times for 97 yards and the Titans lone touchdown on a 1 yard run late in the third quarter.

Fellow rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw his first and second interception of the season. Bridgewater came out trying to force passes to Blackmon and Shorts and was picked off on the Jaguars first two possessions of the game. After getting chewed out my head coach Gus Bradley, Bridgewater rebounded and tossed 4 touchdowns and finished with 371 yards passing for the day.

                Post Game Notes:

-Backup tight end Dallas Clark had to be helped off the field with a chest injury. He's scheduled for an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury.

                      Bears And Texans Complete Trade

After demanding a trade last week, the Chicago Bears granted Jay Cutler his wish by trading him to the Houston Texans. The Bears will also receive the Texans 2015 3rd round pick in the trade.

The Texans were aggresive in trying to acquire Cutler after a shocking 1-4 start to the season. Sources say Owner Bob McNair is in a "win now" mode and didn't want his team window to close with the inconsistent play of Matt Schaub.

Sources say the Bears are still deciding if they want to keep Schaub who still has 3 years and $50M remaining on his contract. You may think that's a abd thing but with they way Schaub's contract is set up they could release him this season with taking a cap hit and clear $9.34M in cap room. With rookie Derek Carr, Schaub isn't expected to start in Chicago.

The Titans were close to acquiring Cutler but the Texans came in at the 11th hour and was able to snag him away from the division rival.

                      Trade Breakdown:

                      Bears Trade: QB Jay Cutler
Bears Receive: QB Matt Schaub and Texans 2015 3rd Round Pick

Texans Trade: QB Matt Schaub and 2015 3rd Round Pick
                      Texans Receive: QB Jay Cutler

                                Jaguars Sign Allen To Extension

Today the Jacksonville Jaguars announced via a press release that they have inked LOLB Russell Allen to a 3 year $4.02M contract extension. Allen, who was signed as an UDFA by the Jaguars after the 2009 NFL Draft, has played with Jacksonville his entire career.

"We're excited to have Allen back for the next 3 seasons. He's been a big part of our improved defense this season." said Jags general manager David Caldwell.

The Jaguars decided to open extension talks with their other players after receiver Cecil Shorts III ended all contract talks with the team last week.
