Here's a coach's corner question for ya: Allen obviously played a helluva game in a relief effort. Do you think he has earned a role moving forward or are you still putting faith in Barnes?

Tough loss. I'll have to re-read to refresh my memory of how things have gone this year for Iowa, but man it's great to have you posting in here again. Your screen caps are pretty much second to none, IMO.

Thanks a lot man. I just started back to college for the final 15 months of getting my BA, at PLNU here in San Diego. I've been going to community college the last three years but took a year off after I didn't get into my preferred school a year ago. I'm paying for it as I go which means I need to work MORE hours so suffice to say I have less time than ever. However, I'm switching to more of a bit-by-bit approach. I made a spreadsheet that will include every update I need to do in a year that I can check off as I go. If I only have a half hour, I can get in there and do a team preview but not play the game. Or I can just get in and do the top 25 update. I also found a dictation app for my phone that I will use instead of taking notes on the game manually like I used to do. That is my strategy. I feel like even in our busiest days it's nice to have a hobby of some kind.

True, want to see Iowa really make some improvement next year but sometimes it does take the good coaches till their 3rd year... If they're doing it with no shortcuts or gimmicks.

Sure, the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl is a little bit of a booby prize for a Big Ten team, but
as Coach Clark puts it: "We need to win this game!" The Hawkeyes finished the regular
season at 7-5, and did not sniff a conference championship berth. They plan to put the
extra practice to good use, improving as much as possible.
