From Fantasy to Front Office - Titans Madden 15 CFM

Welcome to the CFM for Madden 15 for myself. Here is a short guide to help you get through things.

Until I have Madden I will be writing the back story, expect a few good writings and updates over the next week.

You can find the Franchise's Season Summary links in the next thread.

This will be an Xbone CFM

I will be the owner of the Tennessee Titans.

I will start the CFM on Madden's true release date or sooner (I have EA Access, but will depend on how I feel on the settings/sliders)

Should be on All-Pro or All-Madden (like I said before, just depends.)

I will play as realistically as possible, and same with trades and all moves.

I will also try to stream all games on my twitch stream - http://www.twitch.tv/fireman542

    Hope you enjoy.

      BREAKING NEWS :

Multiple reports are stating that former frontman for the Hall of Fame rock group, Your Daughters Fantasy, Allen Andrews has agreed to purchase the Tennessee Titans from the family of Bud Adams. Adams passed away in October of 2013, had owned the franchise since the Houston Oilers back in the 1960’s. The purchase price has yet to be announced to the public, but we figure the number will be around 1.5 billion dollars.

Allen Andrews became a name going around the league after Jon Bon Jovi announced his interest in the Buffalo Bills. JBJ & Andrews had multiple tours together in the 80s and 90s where both of their bands were at their prime. Andrews who led his band to over 10 platinum albums, and 2 single platinum albums, announced his interest in purchasing a football team earlier this year. Andrews stated in an interview a month ago, “Owning a football team has always been a dream of mine, I grew up watching football in Arkansas travelling with my parents to Dallas and Houston multiple times to watch both teams. While touring the US I would stop multiple times to catch football games, so football has been a second life to me.”

The Titans have not had to deal with an ownership change until 2013 when Adams passed, so taking on a new owner will be new frontier for the franchise. The Titans finished 2nd in the AFC South last season after finishing 7-9, and have not made the playoffs since 2008, when they lost to the Ravens. The Titans/Oilers appeared at only one Super Bowl in franchise history, and that will be remembered by “The Tackle”.

We will have a press conference with new Tennessee Titans owner, Allen Andrews, coming up on SportsCenter.

Dawn of a New Day in Nashville

Nashville, TN Earlier today in Nashville Bud Adams family has sold the Tennessee Titans franchise to, Allen Andrews. Andrews was the leader of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame band, Your Daughter's Fantasy, and was their lead marketing director.

Andrews graduated at Arkansas State with a masters in business management before starting his band in 1978. The band really took off after opening for bands in Memphis, such as Aerosmith and KISS. The band took their first tour with KISS in 1983, before branching off to their own in 1986. The band went on a few tours with Jon Bon Jovi in 1988, and 1991. The band was elected in to the hall of fame in 2012, after 11 platinum albums. The band broke it off in 1999 after the death of the lead guitarist.

Andrews who has his own labeling company has labeled many bands since 1999, and has made a name in the business world. Growing up watching football at Dallas and Houston, Andrews is a long time fan of the Titans franchise. During his press conference, he made it apparent that he has been a long supporter of the Titans. The family of Bud Adams released a statement, and said that Andrews was a close fried of the family and they felt comfortable selling the franchise to Andrews.

          Titans Open Training Camp

Nashville, TN Tennessee Titans have opened up training camp under new owner, Allen Andrews, and new head coach, Ken Whisenhunt. Fans are skeptical of the new changes here in Nashville, but are optimistic about the future of this franchise. "I bought this company to win, and that's what we are going to set ourselves up to do," Andrews stated in his press conference after buying the team.

Whisenhunt has made it clear that there are many open battles at training camp and no ones job is 100% safe. Whisenhunt who has 1 Superbowl under his belt at Pittsburgh (Offensive Coordinator), and a 4-2 post season record as a head coach at Arizona, with a Superbowl appearance, will be looking to turn this program around. After finishing 7-9 last year under Mike Munchak, and never appearing in a playoff, the Tennessee Titans will look to make a run.

This season will not be easy for the Titans as they are in a division with a tough Indianapolis team, and even tougher conference to make a Wild Card race. The Titans keys to victory will be finding a quarterback who can stay healthy and confident as the year progresses, as well as a backfield who can compliment each other.

Whisenhunt has stated, "We have a great quarterback battle going on. Each of them (Locker, Whitehurst, and Mettenberger) have strengths and weaknesses, it will be who is game ready by week 1." Locker will have his work cut out for him, if he can stay healthy, he can keep his job.

Check back with us for a preseason report before the Titans open up the preseason at home versus the Green Bay Packers.

Training Camp in Full Swing as Preseason Nears.

Nashville, TN We are less than 7 days away from the first Titans preseason game in Nashville against the visiting Green Bay Packers. We sat down in a one on one interview with Titans new owner, Allen Andrews, this week.

Allen, it's sad to see Bud Adams pass, but we know you and him were good friends. Tell us more about the whole process of how you became interested in the Titans.

After Bud Adams passed away in October, the family gave me a call after the football season had ended asking me to come visit them. So I took a weekend trip to their home, which I had done many of times in the past, but little did I know what was about to happen. Bud's family had heard I was interested in purchasing the franchise and wanted to talk about it while I was in town. We discussed things for a day or so and I traveled back to my home in Florida. The next week I called and told them I would accept their offer, and now we're here.

You are definitely a business man, taking Your Daughter's Fantasy from nobody to a Hall of Fame band by marketing and making changes for the whole band and not just yourself. What do you see this franchise doing now you're here?

It was a tough road in the past, but we made it to the top, and that's where I'm taking this franchise. I told the Adams family (no jokes) that I wouldn't disappoint them, and I'm sticking to my word. We have some work to do to get this franchise back on top of things, and I have a plan. I've been working with all the employees that were still here after I purchased the franchise, and I plan on keeping them around. We have a good head coach, great staff, and I plan on taking this franchise back to the top.

What is your 2014 season outlook for the Tennessee Titans?

I have told the coaches, staff, and players that I expect 125% out of them every game, off the field, and anywhere they represent this team. They all know I am not the type to play around, and I expect the best from them. This team has the capabilities to make the playoffs this season, and if you believe in something, you can make it happen.

Last question for you Allen, give us a long term future plan for the Titans?

I came into this with a short term plan of making sure we win games, and stay ahead in the monetary side of things. Long term goals have been set, and we are going to look to be on top, as I said before. Superbowl champions, start somewhere, and people think we are at the bottom, all I have to say to those people are watch out, the Titans are heading back to a Superbowl sooner than you think. We have great talent, and a few key areas to improve on, but I believe in this team and franchise, and I believe they will bring home a Lombardi trophy soon.

Titans Hold Last Media Day Before Preseason

Nashville, TN The Tennessee Titans held their last media day before the Green Bay Packers come to town in 2 days. Ken Weisenhunt has named Jake Locker the starting QB for the game Saturday night. Coach Weisenhunt said even though the battle for the QB position is close right now, Locker has the most experience for the job. He also stated, "Don't count out Whitehurst or Mettenberger, their both showing good signs right now."

The Titans will look to having a good offensive line to protect Locker and give Shonn Greene big holes to run through this season. We will see rookie Bishop Sankey get good playing time vs the Pack this weekend.

New franchise owner, Allen Andrews, was questioned earlier this week by reporters about the upcoming season.

Reporter : You've been a highly successful businessman and now have your own NFL franchise. What's the next step for you and this team?

Andrews: Part of being good at business is surrounding yourself with smart people, and that will be the main priority. We'll build a continual winner from the top down.

Fans response to that has been good, and we'll expect if Andrews comes in and builds a winning franchise that the popularity of this team will rise, but if he has a losing season this year, the fans are not going to be happy, and popularity will plummet.

We will bring you the latest news Saturday when the Green Bay Packers come to down to face your Tennessee Titans!

Titans Lose Preseason Opener Under New Coach/Owner in Overtime!

                          Green Bay - 00 l 10 l 00 l 03 l 03 ll 16
                          Tennessee - 03 l 00 l 03 l 07 l 00 ll 13

Nashville, TN The Titans lost to visiting Green Bay by 3 points, in overtime. Rodgers and Flynn took to the air putting up almost 300 total passing yards together and made Tennessee's secondary look vulnerable.

The Titans took an early lead off of a 39 yard field goal in the first quarter. But Green Bay answered to that early in the second, followed by their only touchdown all day from Flynn to Cobb on a 25 yard touchdown pass.

The Titans answered late in the third quarter with another 40 yard field goal. Tennessee followed up leaving Charlie Whitehurst in the game, due to an early injury to Mettenberger, he will be back next week. Bishop Sankey's nine yard rushing touchdown gave Tennessee a 3 point advantage leading in the final 5 minutes of the game.

Matt Flynn carried his team down the field to answer and allow Mason Crosby to put a 48 yard field goal on the board to even the score with 1:49 left in the game. Maikon Bonani missed a 41 yard field goal which would've sent the Packers home.

Tennessee took the ball first and had to punt away after a 3 and out on their first possession of overtime. Mason Crosby answered the call with a 29 yard field goal to end things in Nashville.

                          Key Notes / Stats :

                          Total Yards - 367 (GB) 256 (TEN)
                          Rush Yards - 120 (GB) 110 (TEN)
                          Pass Yards - 247 (GB) 146 (TEN)
                          Turnovers - 1 (GB) 1 (TEN)

                          Jake Locker - 7/12, 46 yards, 1 INT, 4 rushes for 9 yards.
                          Charlie Whitehurst - 8/17, 96 yards, 6 rushes for 12 yards.
Leon Washington - 18 rushes for 57 yards
Shonn Greene - 10 rushes for 20 yards
Bishop Sankey - 3 rushes for 9 yards, 1 TD
Marc Mariani - 3 receptions for 37 yards
Nate Washtington - 3 receptions for 27 yards

We will see Zach Mettenberger take the field next week, his ankle sprain shouldn't keep him out. The Titans will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in week 2 preseason action.

Titans Make First Cuts, Trim to 65 players

Nashville, TN The Titans release two players to trim their roster to 65.

After missing the field goal in last weeks game, the Titans announce their starting kicker will be, Rob Bironas, and they release Maikon Bonani.

The 4th string tight end, Beau Brinkley, fought a good fight in training camp, but just couldn't compete with the other tight ends on the Titans roster.

We wish the best to both of these men in their football futures.
