Great start annhialating (sp) Buffalo. Is it just me, or is the NFL just 100X more fun when Gronk is healthy as he was this year? Good to see him get a pair of TD. Looks like a great game was enjoyed against Dallas, although hopefully no controller throwing.

playing in the AFC East definitely makes the road to the playoffs a bit easier for us, with six very winnable games each year

i wasn't a big fan of Seattle's moves but I could see Nicks happening somehow. Not Britt though.

it was great getting Buffalo pretty easily, good to start any season like that, and yeah Gronk is probably one of the most fun players in the league and in madden in my opinion.

This week the Patriots head into New Jersey to face the 0-5 Giants. New York always seemed to play New England tough when Eli Manning was under center. This time it’s Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback.

Players to Watch
The Giants had seen enough of Eli Manning and brought in Ryan Fitzpatrick in the offseason. Fitzpatrick has a plethora of weapons around him including superstar in the making Odell Beckham Jr. Victor Cruz is across from him and Reuben Randle gives the Giants three solid targets at WR. Former Patriot Danny Amendola is there as well. Newcomer Jordan Cameron is one of the top young TEs in the league. Behind Fitzpatrick is Ryan Matthews with Rashad Jennings there to spell him.

On defense the Giants are led by CBs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Prince Amukamara. Their defensive line and linebackers are mostly below average.

Outlook
New England has no excuse for anything but a blowout. The Giants look to be one of the worst teams in the league. New York is missing 4 of their 5 starters on the offensive line.

Pats stomp Giants, suffer key injuries

The Patriots throttled the Giants 31-0 at MetLife stadium on Monday Night Football last night so you would expect that to be the only thing on the minds of Patriots fans today. Especially with the recent history between the two teams. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Patriots season may very well have taken a huge hit last night as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski both left the contest with what team officials are calling significant injuries.

Brady appeared to be clutching his shoulder as he left the game midway through the second quarter. Gronkowski seemed to be focused on his forearm. Both players will be evaluated today and their status’ will be reported to you as soon as possible.

As far as the game goes it was all New England. Brady led a scoring drive on the Pats’ first possession that culminated in a 13 yard Brady to Gronkowski touchdown and they never looked back.

Garoppolo played well after replacing Brady, connecting on 14 of his 18 pass attempts for 184 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots will head down to Miami to play the Dolphins next Sunday afternoon.
