    Re: ONE. FINAL. RUN.

Glad you started this up, djp. I hope you get that SB victory. Looking at the schedule I can't help but salivate, it seems like every year in fact looking at the NE Pats schedule you just go jeez, half of that slate is total pansies.

I hate that the Seahawks signed Britt and Hakeem Nicks, those guys are the furthest thing from their type of guy. Oh well. lol

Great start annhialating (sp) Buffalo. Is it just me, or is the NFL just 100X more fun when Gronk is healthy as he was this year? Good to see him get a pair of TD. Looks like a great game was enjoyed against Dallas, although hopefully no controller throwing.

"RICHARD SHERMAN SECURED A SEAHAWKS VICTORY WITH A LATE PICK OF KAEPERNICK"

seems familiar.... Nice job getting to 4-0, and interesting to see Barkley as the starter, I've been proven totally wrong on him. The fact that he couldn't beat out Sanchez this year is just utterly disturbing to me because i really thought he would be a good QB. sorry, off topic.

At the quarter mark, the only thing that needs to be addressed is for Brady to take better care of the football, let's go Tom! Otherwise the team is rolling.

thanks for the comment, always nice to see something this in depth.

playing in the AFC East definitely makes the road to the playoffs a bit easier for us, with six very winnable games each year

i wasn't a big fan of Seattle's moves but I could see Nicks happening somehow. Not Britt though.

it was great getting Buffalo pretty easily, good to start any season like that, and yeah Gronk is probably one of the most fun players in the league and in madden in my opinion.

the Dallas game was a rollercoaster ride, no controller throwing but there was some "language"

      sherman owns kaepernick

      the 4-0 start is huge

i was also surprised to see barkley as the starter, sanchez is in buffalo and foles it out for a bit

tom has been asked to clean up the turnovers and seemed to behave in the last game.

      thanks again man

ODELL BECKHAM JR. AND THE GIANTS HOST THE PATS ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

This week the Patriots head into New Jersey to face the 0-5 Giants. New York always seemed to play New England tough when Eli Manning was under center. This time it’s Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback.

              Players to Watch
The Giants had seen enough of Eli Manning and brought in Ryan Fitzpatrick in the offseason. Fitzpatrick has a plethora of weapons around him including superstar in the making Odell Beckham Jr. Victor Cruz is across from him and Reuben Randle gives the Giants three solid targets at WR. Former Patriot Danny Amendola is there as well. Newcomer Jordan Cameron is one of the top young TEs in the league. Behind Fitzpatrick is Ryan Matthews with Rashad Jennings there to spell him.

On defense the Giants are led by CBs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Prince Amukamara. Their defensive line and linebackers are mostly below average.

              Tale of the Tape
              NE –Stat - NYG
              Offense
              1643 - Tot – 1425
              1237 - Pass – 1146
              406 - Rush – 279
              25.0 - Points – 17.0
              Defense
              956 - Tot – 1970
              510 - Pass – 1290
              446 - Rush – 680
              56 - Points – 154

              Injury Report
              NE – None
NYG – LT William Beatty, C Matt Milton, RG Ryan Wendell, RT Justin Pugh, LE David Bass

              Outlook
New England has no excuse for anything but a blowout. The Giants look to be one of the worst teams in the league. New York is missing 4 of their 5 starters on the offensive line.

The Patriots should be able to do whatever they want on offense and should be all over Ryan Fitzpatrick.

              Game Prediction
New England should win easily and Brady should be on the sidelines for most of the 4th quarter.

Man, I wish I joined OS earlier so I didn't just have to catch the tail end of your franchise career! This is great stuff, and good luck with the rest of the season. Looks like your Pats should be a serious contender.

                  appreciate the kind words man

should be able to go pretty far with the Pats, at least that's my hope

the only bad thing is that I have to play both of my real teams this season...

Pats stomp Giants, suffer key injuries

The Patriots throttled the Giants 31-0 at MetLife stadium on Monday Night Football last night so you would expect that to be the only thing on the minds of Patriots fans today. Especially with the recent history between the two teams. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Patriots season may very well have taken a huge hit last night as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski both left the contest with what team officials are calling significant injuries.

Brady appeared to be clutching his shoulder as he left the game midway through the second quarter. Gronkowski seemed to be focused on his forearm. Both players will be evaluated today and their status’ will be reported to you as soon as possible.

As far as the game goes it was all New England. Brady led a scoring drive on the Pats’ first possession that culminated in a 13 yard Brady to Gronkowski touchdown and they never looked back.

Garoppolo played well after replacing Brady, connecting on 14 of his 18 pass attempts for 184 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots will head down to Miami to play the Dolphins next Sunday afternoon.

                    Scoring Summary

New England should win easily and Brady should be on the sidelines for most of the 4th quarter.

DION JORDAN WILL LOOK TO GET FRIENDLY WITH WHOEVER IS UNDER CENTER FOR THE PATS

This week the Patriots head to south beach to battle the 4-2 Miami Dolphins, this is their first meeting of the season.

                                Players to Watch
The Dolphins do most of their damage on defense. Cameron Wake and Dion Jordan have combined for 9 sacks. Tashaun Gipson and Brent Grimes have 5 interceptions.

Offensively the team has been less than stellar. Tannehill will look to lean on WRs Jarvis Landry and Harry Douglass. Shonn Greene is the team’s leading rusher with just 318 yards and one score.

                                Injury Report
                                NE – TE Rob Gronkowski
MIA – HB Lamar Miller, TE Fred Davis, RT Tyson Clabo

                                Outlook
With Tom Brady listed as questionable this could be Jimmy Garoppolo’s first career start. If that’s the case he will have to make good decisions with the ball to keep out of trouble. If he can manage the game and the Pats get Ridley and Blount going they should be alright. Miami always plays the Pats tough.

                                Game Prediction
If Garoppolo starts and struggles Miami could have something for the Pats. A solid game by Garoppolo or Brady starting should give the Pats the win.
