ANDREW LUCK AND THE COLTS NEED TO UPSET THE PATS TO STAY ALIVE IN THE PLAYOFF RACE
The Pats will play on Sunday Night Football for the second straight week as they host the 6-8 Colts. Despite their record the Colts are still alive in the Wildcard hunt as well as their division. The Pats will be looking to run their record to 15-0. Rob Gronkowski will get his first start since his injury in week six. LeGarrette Blount is cleared for the game and is expected to start due to his recent success against the Colts.
Players to Watch
For Indianapolis it’s all about Andrew Luck. Luck has thrown for 3,182 yards and 13 TDs to 7 interceptions thus far. He recently signed a long term contract to stay in Indy. With Trent Richardson injured look for the Colts to lean on Vick Ballard on the ground, though don’t expect them to put too much focus on their running game. T.Y. Hilton is back from an injury so look for Luck to try to get him going early. TE Colby Fleener and rookie receiver Shakim Landrum are Luck’s other preferred targets.
On Defense the Colts are led by outside linebacker Robert Mathis, who leads the team with five sacks and has 68 tackles on the season. Corner Vontae Davis leads the team with 7 interceptions. The Colts are without safety Rashad Johnson, their leading tackler.

Outlook
This will likely be the Patriots closest thing to a real test before they roll into the playoffs. Everyone in the Pats camp assures us they’re not concerned with a 16-0 regular season record but nobody believes them. Expect the Pats to win one of their closest games of the season.
