CAMERON WAKE LEADS THE ‘PHINS DEFENSE INTO FOXBORO
This week the Pats are back at home. They will host the Dolphins, currently 4-6. The 10-0 Patriots defeated them 37-7 at Miami in week 7.
Players to Watch
Miami’s offense ranks near the bottom of the league in total and passing yards. Rushing yardage for the Dolphins is in the middle of the pack. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has struggled, throwing 14 interceptions and just 10 touchdowns with a 70.7 passer rating. Shonn Greene has been the most effective runner though his 2.9 yards per carry leaves a lot to be desired. Harry Douglas leads the team with 51 receptions but has just one touchdown. Jarvis Landry leads the team with 533 receiving yards on 46 receptions, he has three touchdowns. Greg Little’s 4 touchdown receptions is tops in Miami.
On defense the Dolphins rank 6th in total yards, 4th in passing yards and 13th against the run. They are led by Cameron Wake, who has 6 sacks on the season. Across from him is Dion Jordan, also with 6 sacks. Koa Misi leads the team with 94 tackles. Saftey Tashaun Gipson’s 4 interceptions leads the team.
