Went to college in SA and have always been intrigued by dusting off the 360 sticks and getting in some roadrunner action, I know it's just a temporary stuff for you, but it's still fun to see for awhile. Looking forward to seeing more, great stuff so far!

The roster is somewhere in the mid-high 60s I believe. The defense is a 70-71, and that's the highlight of our team!

The offense has been a little up and down so far. We'll be good against Texas State, bad against Arizona, good against CMU, then pretty bad again against Marshall. Thanks for the comment!

UTSA HOLDS ON VS RICE; ADVANCES TO 4-1

UTSA won a hard fought game against in-state rival Rice. Despite only having one win, this Owls squad played tough all game, but was helped out by the early injury to Blake Bogenschutz.

Bogenschutz's injury has not yet been disclosed by Larry Coker, but sources say he will likely be inactive for UTSA's next game vs USC.

David Sturm played respectably after the injury to Bogenschutz, but UTSA had to lean on Corbin White and Brian Vaughn on the ground to support their offense. Rice made a comeback in the 2nd half, but the Roadrunner defense held just enough to get the victory.

Jaylon Henderson has said that he will play vs USC next week; however, he still has not confirmed or denied the report that he won't play next year.

The Roadrunners will travel to Los Angeles to play the Men of Troy next week; go Roadrunners!

Thanks! I don't think we can do much, as they just beat Arizona, who beat us pretty badly earlier this year. Hopefully we can but I doubt it.

Good win against Rice. I loathe them...something about that team caused me fits in by Sonoma State dynasty. They beat me in shootouts two years in a row I think, on last minute drives.

I love the game notes for USC btw...lol

DESPITE HEROIC EFFORT, ROADRUNNERS FALL IN LA

Jaylon Henderson almost led his team to a historic upset over the USC Trojans, ranked #10 nationally. But first, let's take you back to the beginning of the fourth quarter.

The game was all tied up, 17-17. UTSA was in USC territory and had 4th-and-2 coming up. Offensive coordinator elected to toss it out to Corbin White, who had had a lackluster performance thus far. The toss, the catch, and...White ran out of room to run. He ran into the sideline, and that was the turning point where USC went on to win by 10. Overall, Henderson had a great return to playing, tossing two touchdowns with no picks, for 225 yards. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

Perhaps the unsung hero this far into the season is David Morgan II. He's a tight end, but 7 games into the season has 35 receptions, 443 yards (good enough for 18th in the nation), a 12.6 yards per catch avg, and one touchdown.

Next week, the Roadrunners will play host to the UAB Blazers. Go Roadrunners!

Impressive showing against a good USC team, to only let them pull away in the 4th is hard to swallow after playing so well the rest of the game.

Got to be happy with no turnovers too.
