Got to be happy with no turnovers too.

Thanks! Yeah, Henderson really played well in his return, but our running game suffered, mostly because of our offensive line being trash. We could've won, but threw it away at the end. Thanks for the comment!

you put up a good fight. Looks like you avoided turnovers, that can keep you in any game, along with good playcalling.

Thanks for the comment! Lack of turnovers really helped us to stay in it, and our defense played really well, but unfortunately we didn't have the talent to win.

B1G, BIG 12, AND ACC FINALLY QUASH RUMORS OF REALIGNMENT

After roughly a month and a half of silence, the ACC, B1G, and Big 12 have finally silenced the rumors of future conference realignment, caused by a leaked audio tape between representatives of the three conferences, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Louisville, and Navy.

The B1G's reasons for doing so are likely due to the fact that Nebraska has made an entrance into the Coaches' Poll at #20 in recent weeks. Notre Dame has also performed far below expectations this year, not even making an appearance in the Top 25.

Neither Nebraska or Notre Dame have expressed interest in joining a new conference within the next few years, either. Nebraska AD Shawn Eichorst released an official statement today stating that,"We have found a new home in the Big 10. While it is unfortunate that we had to leave behind storied rivalries with Oklahoma and Colorado, we saw a good future for our athletic programs in the Big 10, especially in football."

Louisville may be looking for an ACC bid within the next few years, however, as they are 6-1 and entered the Top 25 Coaches' Poll this week at #22.The Cardinals' AD, Tom Jurich, released an official statement this week as well, saying,"We would very much enjoy the prestige of a Power Five Conference, such as the ACC. We have reached out to them, and while they expressed interest, they have said that in order for such a partnership to be viable, they would need to see a few more seasons of success."

Meanwhile, Nevada and Arkansas State have become known on the national stage with entrances into the Top 25 Coaches' Poll at #21 and #24, respectively. They could be making cases to stronger conferences as well.

Let me know what you guys think of these potential moves!

Thanks for the comment! We definitely are still in the hunt for the C-USA championship. If we win out (big if), we're in, but we have to get past LA Tech first, which won't be easy.

P.S. I made a custom game preview template that I think looks nice that will debut for our next game vs Tulsa!

I always like to get Notre Dame to the B1G, just too stubborn to do it in real life. Glad Louisville are doing well in the game as real life, could they head to the Big XII to get that back to 12 if the ACC won't take them? Could have them and the Red Wolves if they are becoming a good team, and they fit the geography whilst not adding another Texas team. Houston will always be one that probably should go to the Big XII.

Thanks for the feedback! I would add ND next year, but they're doing pretty bad this year. I don't even think they're at .500. Louisville is definitely a candidate for the Big 12/ACC if they continue this success, as well as Boise State for the Big 12. Arkansas State is a bit of a long shot, but a possibility.

Seeing a change by Louisville, as well as Houston is expected in real life. Notre Dame has always been clear they will stay independent because they make a TON from TV contracts.

I'd love to see Boise get a shot with the big guys lol

Thanks for the feedback. I know Notre Dame isn't going to go anywhere in real life, but that's the point. This isn't real life, so I just want to see things go insane.

UTSA D PITCHES SHUTOUT; IMPROVE TO 5-3

UTSA's defense stole the show today. Oh, and so did Kenny Bias.

The defense allowed under 150 yards and forced two interceptions. They also only allowed one redzone visit by the Blazer offense. Granted, the Blazer offense has been historically bad (3.3 PPG), but this game will be a good confidence builder headed into the final 4 games of the schedule.

Kenny Bias finally had that big game everyone was expecting from him, with 150 yards on only five receptions, and two touchdowns.

"I thought our guys played well today, and we'll need to keep that up if we want in to the Conference-USA championship game," said UTSA Head Coach Larry Coker.

Next week, the Roadrunners will travel north to play the Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa. Go Roadrunners!
