HOT SEAT REPORT
STARTING TO BURN
Mark Whipple, UMass, 8% - UMass in the FBS has been a disaster and Whipple, 0-5 so far this year, should be shown the door at the end of the season.
Scott Frost, UCF, 11% - Frost might be 1-and-done as a head coach, 0-5 as UCF hasn't won a game in nearly two seasons.
Paul Petrino, Idaho, 19% - Petrino is now 6-33 at Idaho, and it might be time to try to save Idaho with another coach than give Paul another year.
Mark Stoops, Kentucky, 23% - Stoops is not doing well this year, and it may be time to get a new head coach in Kentucky.
David Beaty, Kansas, 32% - Winner of just one game so far, but can anyone win in Kansas?
PRESSURE BUILDING
Sonny Dyks, Cal, 40% - Cal is 1-4 this year and despite producing the #1 pick, they aren't producing on the field.
Clay Helton, USC, 48% - USC is 1-3 so far this year, and the Trojans glory days are seeming to become more distant.
ALREADY COOKED
Les Miles, LSU - He'll find a new job, but where?
READY TO MOVE?
Jeff Brohm, Western Kentucky
P.J. Fleck, Western Michigan

CFB Recap 2016, Week 9
COMMITTEE RELEASES FIRST POLL
The Playoff committee debuted their 2016 college football poll but the top 6 remain the same as the current AP poll. With four undefeated teams still remaining, they make up the current playoff picture. A mess of 1-and some 2-loss teams find themselves in the picture.
The committee is also providing more respect to some surprising 1-loss teams like Indiana, Boston College, Virginia, Nebraska, Northwestern and Nevada, who have all been slightly shunned based on their preseason marks. It will be interesting to see if one of the committee's 6 teams they have pulled up in their rankings compared to the AP can make some noise.
The poll below shows the team's current committee rank, their comparison to the AP, their comparison to last committee poll (n/a), team and record.
