Army is my favorite service academy. Been silently following. I enjoy how simple but creative your write-ups are. Looking forward to more!My Newport Falcons Football Dynasty (Teambuilder) (CFB25)

Re: The Rise
I don't have any ties to Army at all but I like them too the most. Probably because of their struggles. Seeing them win against Navy and win a bowl was pretty sweet this year. I don't know how long I will be here in this, but this has been an enjoyable season and a half so far.Comment

Re: The Rise
Temple brings it every year against the Knights. Love that Bradshaw lead his team back in the 2nd Half to get the victory. Defense will have to play better against BYU or I can see Army dropping that game.Comment

Re: The Rise
Nice dynasty going on here. Love all the name-doppelgangers--Ahmad Bradshaw, C(h)ris Carter and Edgar [Allan] Poe, lol.
Something about the sand and black color combo looks really nice for their uniforms.
Also, really impressed with your game recaps being neither too long nor too short. They look great and you have found the art of putting in just about the right amount of info (something I still struggle with).
Here's to hoping you beat Navy again in a few weeks.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: The Rise
Looking good bro - I was surprised to see just how long it had been since I chimed in. Man does time seem to fly by these days.
You got Army rolling...hated to see the letdown game versus Notre Dame but you won the all-important matchup with Navy. Great stuff, and it foreshadowed the real life upset this past season. Hell of a finish with the bowl game win, congrats.
That fullback, David Poreda, looks like a beast and could be a centerpiece for your offense and its style of play in the near-future.
D'oh, looks like on the next page, the "near-future" has become "now."
It's been an up and down season for sure, but looks like Poreda has been a key catalyst as of late.
Fantastic work here my friend!

The blowouts are no fun, but they're usually a bit of a relief for me, because it means I can get away with a much-shorter recap.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: The Rise
Great win over BYU. Can't ask for too much more from your defense in a game when they force turnovers and force field goals in the Redzone. Bradshaw with another nice performance.Comment
