I think it'd be an interesting idea and you'd have the market on that game to yourself since I know of no other dynasties with those games. Totally your call, but I'd like to see you give it a shot.

I concur with BookWork. I don't recall any dynasty run on NCAA 07 since my Mass State dynasty and that's been about three years now.. and I don't remember the last NCAA 06 'chise done on here that lasted more than a few games.

Besides, playing a different game can help keep things fresh.. provide a balance from a gaming standpoint. If you're feeling like going retro one day, fire up the PS2 and HSU. If you want your newer-gen fix, play Hawai'i and the Xbox. It could easily get boring to have multiple dynasties on the same game going at once.

I would love this idea! I've thought about how much fun doing a dynasty report from a ps2 game would be but figure I barely have my time to play 14. I love 09 myself but 06 is hands down one of the best out there.

appreciate the feedback fellas. That's exactly what I was thinking guru, it would keep things fresh in both dynasties. Now the next question would be, would you guys need to have real rosters from the 2006/2007 season or would fake names be sufficient. I could get the rosters, but I would need to send a memory card to a friend and it could take a couple of weeks. I'm thinking about just rolling with the fake rosters since they will only be around for a few seasons. Plus everyone knows who RB #5 is from USC and so on...

I would say use the generic whatever they give you. Not only will they only be around for a few years but I would assume the majority of the focus will be on your created team so who really cares about who you're playing? That's just my opinion of course.

Depends on you personally, TBH. I can't play without real names anymore and I don't have the fancy roster transport tools for the PS2, so I took the initiative to do some research and name my own. I've completed files for a few different PS2 games now and it does of course add some extra realism.

Nevertheless, if your Hawai'i dynasty as of late is any indication, you'll play through seasons 1-5 quickly.. so it won't make much of a difference in the end. If you want to get started soon I'd just go without named rosters.

I think what I might do is just name like the Top 100 players. I'll do that while I play some games to get used to the "new" gameplay and adjust sliders. It's a blast playing the old game

Alright guys! We are running this on NCAA Football 06 on the PS2. Obviously I won't be able to use our sick logo in the game but we will work with what we have. I did my best to get your players to look like what you wanted, but NCAA 06 doesn't have as many equipment options as 14. I have created our team as a cupcake, so we are very very very.....very very bad. Get ready for some ugly games!
