Going into the 2017 Season, the Broncos roster had 14 Seniors (9 Offense and 5 Defense), with the biggest hole being at the RB position with starter Jermey "McWeapon" McNichols (97 OVR) looking to take his talents to the NFL and backup R. Wolpin (75 OVR) graduating. Leaving only the only current RB on the roster being RS FR A. Mattinson (76 OVR).

Tight End will also be hit hard with 3 year starter and All-Mountain West Jake Roh(91 OVR) also would be looking to play on Sundays. Joining Roh in graduating would be former Fruitland start Alec Dhaenens (82 OVR) who has served as the backup at both TE and FB this season.

The Broncos would also be losing 3 of their starting 5 O-Linman with including LT A. Lewis, LG A. Tercek and Center M. Hampton.

The impact loss of SR WR C. Wilson (86 Overall) was already soften with the signing of last years top recruit Marcus Lee (82 Overall) who already looks to be a legit #1 ready to take on his role.

On Defense the Broncos will lose starting DE G. Perez (80 OVR) and OLB B. Whitlock (77 OVR) but both positions have alot of depth.

Strong Saftety is the biggest need with starter C. Hartsfield (86 OVR)and backup K. Miles (81 OVR) both graduating.

Only 7 weeks into the season the Broncos have already secured 8 commitments including 1 player Coach Moore is really excited about.

With QB B. Rypien (96 OVR) only a Junior and a already a pair of FR backups on the team, Quarterback wasn't a huge need for the Broncos this season, as both Coach Harsin and Coach Moore have liked what they have seen in Luke Collins in his 2 games of action, but when 4* and #5 rated QB James Robbins had the Broncos as his #1 school going into the season, they couldn't pass him up. Robbins is 6'1 and 194lbs and played high school ball at Cedar Hills in Portland Oregon. He is coming to Boise as a 77 Overall with 89 THP and 83 THA making him more of a pocket style QB vs Colllins who has some wheels (86 SPD)

Joing Robbins in the backfield in the future will be 4* HB Andrew Allen. Ranked the #12 HB in the nation out of Decatur Georgia, Allen picked BSU over Clemson. Rated at a 68 Overall he will most likely be a career backup for A. Mattison, but when it comes to running the ball you can never have enough guy's.

FB Kory Monroe was the first player to commit after just 3 weeks into the season. The 5'9 225lb blocker is from Rancho Cordova CA in is a 2* ranked as the #14 FB in the nation. Only a 61 Overall, he too most likely won't see alot of starts but he does have decent blocking skills, so we will see.

The other signings were all needs of the team including 2 Tackles, a OLB and 2 SS.

      3*#37 Tackle-6'5 288lb M. Robinson-Fallon Nevada (Listed as a 71 OVR)
      3* #20 Tackle-6'6 310lb R. Olson-Richmond Heights Ohio (Listed as a 66 OVR)
      3* #96 OLB-6'1 221 lbs A. Ingram-Fort Stockton Texas (Listed as a 67 OVR)
      2* #53 SS-6'1 202lb D. Campbell-Lakeland North Washington (listed a 68 OVR)
      2* #52 SS-6'5 196lbs L. Givens-Menominee Minnasota (listed as a 67 OVR)

It's good to be back. To bad "McWeapon" didn't stay for his Senior year in real life. I think another year would've given him a legit shot on a NFL roster. The 49's are giving him a 2nd chance after his blowup with the Buc's but we will see.

There have been past great Bronco RB's that were not able to make it (B. Forsey,J. Avery, I. Johnson). I thought McNichols actually had the talent to be as good as D. Martin or J-Train, but who knows.

COACH MOORE HAS BRONCO OFFENSE PLAYING AS GOOD AS EVER!!!

After starting out the year a disappointing 1-2 , the Broncos managed to pull off wins over Colorado State and BYU to improve to 3-2 as they got ready to head into Mountain West play with 8 games to play. Looking to make it back to back title's and prove that the current Broncos are the elite of old, a Top-25 team and one of the best non-power 5 teams in the country, Boise State would roll off 6 straight wins to improve to 9-2 setting up a Week 14 showdown with 9-2 Air Force for the chance to play in the MWC Title game. With the BCS Bowl Committee changing this year’s format giving the MWC Champion a matchup against the Big 12 Champion in the Fiesta Bowl., winning the Mountain West no longer means a trip to Vegas

(The Committee also gave the American Conference Champ a spot in the Orange Bowl and the CUSA Champ a spot in the Sugar Bowl)

Here is a recap of the past 6 games

              vs Fresno State

The Broncos would trail 24-7 at the half, but the defense would shut out the Bulldogs in the 2nd half and Rypien would throw 3 TD's to guide the Broncos to their 3rd straight win as they also keep the coveted Milk Jug trophy. FINAL SCORE BSU-28 FSU-24

              KEY PLAYERS

Rypien finished the game 25/39 for 313 yds with 4 TD's.

FR M. Lee had his breakout game with 11 rec for 152 yds well catching 2 of the TD's.

JR A. Butler had 3 rec 53 yds and the other 2 scores

              VS San Diego State

The Aztecs actually made it in the Top-25 Media Poll after Week 4, but a Week 5 loss to Fresno State and a Week 7 loss to New Mexico knocked them out. Leaving this game not as great on paper as Broncos fans once had hoped. The Aztecs however still look to be in control of their division so this game could be a preview to the Mountain West title game.

The first half was all Broncos as the Aztecs had no answer for "McWeapon". The Senior RB would score 3 times to give BSU the (21-0) lead. After back to back INT's by Rypien and Collins, the Broncos would go back to the ground game as McNichols scores his 4th TD of the game to put BSU up (28-0) with 6 minutes to play in the game. San Diego State would finally get on the scoreboard late in the 4th with a rushing TD of their own. FINAL SCORE BSU-28 SDSU-7

              KEY PLAYERS
RB-J. "McWeapon" McNichols was POG as he finished with 21 carries for 108 yds and 4 TD's well also adding 3 rec and 53 yds in the air.
QB-B. Rypien finished just 21/38 for 329 yds with the 1 INT
QB-Collins was just 1/3 with the INT in his 1 series of play

              @ New Mexico
The Lobos made it a game in the 1st half trailing by just a Field Goal (24-21), but a Rypien to Wilson TD in the 3rd Quarter gave BSU the 10 point lead and New Mexico had no answer. Late in the 4th Rypien would use his legs to score from 1 yd out to make it (38-21), but a 98 yd kickoff return by the Lobos A. Somoye would make it (38-28) with 2 minutes to play. The Broncos would manage to run out the clock.FINAL SCORE BSU-38 NMU-28

              KEY PLAYERS
QB-B. Rypien is named POG after completing 25/34 for 365 yds and 3 TD in the air plus the rushing TD on the ground.
RB-J. McNichols adds 101 yds on the ground on just 14 carries along with a score.
WR-C. Wilson leads the team with 11 rec and 204 yds with 2 TD.
WR-M. Lee adds 5 rec, 57 yds and a score as well

              @ Nevada

The Wolfpack came into the game with just 1 win on the seaason and it showed as their defense gives up a season high 56 points.

Nevada scored 1st on a TD pass from T. Gangi to A. Celis to make it (7-0), but back to back TD pass's from Rypien to Wilson made it (14-7) after the 1st Quarter.

The Rypien to Wilson combo strikes again twice in the 2nd quarter to make it (28-7) and then Rypien finds Lee for another scoring giving him 5 TD's in the 1st half.

Nevada would score at the end of the half on a Gangi to W. Demps score from 33 yds out to make it (35-14).

Nevada would actually own the 3rd Quarter as J. Butler scores twice (1 in the air and 1 on the ground), well Boise State is limited to just 2 FG's by D. Stevens (46 yds and 24 yds) making it (41-28)

Boise State would open the 4th with yet another FG by Stephens (26 yds) to make it (43-28). With Rypien on the bench it was FR Luke Collins turn to go to the air as he hits C. Wilson for his 5th TD catch of the day from 4 yds out and then finds A. Butler for a 49 yd score to make it (58-28) with less then 3 minutes to play. The Wolfpack however were not ready to give up and with 30 seconds to play score from 11 yds out on a TD pass from the backup QB.FINAL SCORE 58-35

              KEY PLAYERS
QB-B. Rypien is POG after completing 20/23 for 244 yds and 5 TD's (all in the 1st half).
QB-L. Collins completes 11/18 for 242 yds and 2 TD in the 2nd half.
RB-J. McNichols leads the ground game with 13 carries for 81 yds, well also adding 1 rec for 35 yds.
              WR-C. Wilson has 11 rec for 92 yds and 5 TD's
TE-J. Roh has 9 rec for 174 yds
              WR-M. Lee 5 rec 90 yds 1 TD
              WR-A. Butler 1 rec 88 yds

              @ Wyoming

Like Nevada, the Cowboys came into the matchup with just 1 win on the season, a Week 9 (27-17) win over Utah State and like Nevada they had no answer for the Broncos high scoring offense in the 2nd Quarter.

Wyoming acutally led after the 1st Quarter (9-7) with as J. Allen throws a TD, but the Cowboys fail to make the PAT.

Rypien however would take over throwing his 2nd,3rd and 4th TD of the game finding 3 different WR's and with 1:48 to play in the half McWeapon adds another score from 5 yds out to make it (35-16) at the half.

McNichols adds a 2nd score on the ground to open the 3rd Quarter this time from 2 yds out, well Wyoming is forced to settle for a 43 yd FG to make it (42-19). B. Rypien wasn't done yet though as he throws his 5th TD of the game on a 24 yd strike to A. Butler to make it (49-19).

In the 4th the Cowboys couldn't find the scoreboard and the Broncos could stay out despite trying, as FR QB Luke Collins scores his first career rushing TD on a 20 yd scramper.FINAL SCORE BSU-56 WYOMING-19

              KEY PLAYERS
QB-B. Rypien finishes the game 18/25 for 327 yds with 5 TD and 1 INT
QB-L. Collins goes 4/6 for 52 yds well adding 37 yds on the ground with the TD.
RB-J. McNichols finishes with 11 carries for 60 yds and 2 scores
RB- A. Mattison has a carrer high 13 carries for 57 yds all in the 2nd half.
WR-C. Wilson finished with 9 rec for 171 yds and 1 TD
WR-A. Butler finished with 6 rec and 100 yds and 1 TD
TE-J. Roh had 3 rec for 60 yds and 1 TD
WR-M. Lee had just 13 yds on his 2 rec but both went for scores.

              J. Allen was just 10/24 for 179 yds with 1 TD and 1 INT on the day.
              N. Smith saw limited action completing 1 of 2 passes well also throwing a INT
              K. Overstreet finished wiht 93 yds and 1 score on 20 carries.

              VS Utah State

It was Senior Day for the 14 Broncos including RB R. McNichols and WR C. Wilson. Both players would score TD's in the 1st Quarter as BSU takes the (14-7) lead.

Wilson would get a 2nd TD in the 2nd Quarter as well catching a 71 yd bomb from L. Collins. BSU would add a 24 yd FG by D. Stephens to make it (24-7) at the half.

Both teams would trade FG's in the 3rd Quarter making it (27-10) and then it was Utah State opening up the 4th Quarter with a 2 yd TD pass from D. Hobbs to R. Lewis to make it (27-17).

But Luke Collins wasn't done yet, as th Freshman connects with fellow Freshman M. Lee on a 20 yd TD strike with 2 minutes to play to put the game out of reach. FINAL SCORE BSU-34 UTAH STATE-17

              KEY PLAYERS
QB-B. Rypien is 7/8 for 124 yds and 2 TD in the 1st Quarter, but leaves the game with a possible concusion.
QB-L. Collins finishes 11/32 for 148 yds and 2 scores
RB-J. McNichols finished with 18 carries and 118 yds on the ground plus 4 rec for 30 yds and the 1 TD in the air.
WR-C. Wilson finished with 5 rec for 149 yds and 2 TD

                I'll be following!

I've always been a fan of Kellen Moore and Boise State. Think it had been because when I was getting really into college football, they were the "Cinderella" of college football and I always liked to pull for the underdogs if they weren't playing my teams. Good luck!!!

Thanks for following. I grew up 40 mins from Boise and went to alot of games growing up. My brother and sister inlaw are still season ticket holders and even travel to most of the away games.

I really do hope Kellen does return to Boise someday to start his coaching career. So I guess this is my a little of my fantasy wanting to come true.

                    FINAL PLAY DECIDES BALL GAME!!

**Have you ever played a game on NCAA14 where you just felt like the computer just didn't want you to win no matter what you did? Well for me this was this game**

                    GAME RECAP

Boise State would loss the coin toss and Air Force would elect to kick giving the Broncos the the ball. On the opening play SR RB Jeremy McNichols takes the handoff, breaks a tackle and then breaks a elbow. . The Trainers are calling it a dislocated elbow. His season is over. FR RB A. Mattison would take over and will now get a chance to audition to be the main ball carrier next season.

Now on a 2 and 8, Rypien drops back and finds A. Butler on the slant over the middle. The ball hits Butler in the hands, but the ball doesn't stop there. Instead it bounces off his helmet, then off his chest and then into the the hands of a Air Force defender for INT #1.

Air Force and their Triple Option offense take over putting the first points on the scoreboard as T. McVey rambles in from 4 yds out (7-0.

Rypien and Mattison would lead the offense back on the field, for 1 play. A pass to what looked to be a wideopen TE J. Roh, but wait where did that Air Force defender come from and why he is not playing in the NBA with the 94 inch vertical leap. INT #2.

Lucky for the Broncos DC A. Avalos has the defense somewhat ready for this Triple option, as Air Force is forced to punt. But wait for it after a 6 yd Mattison run, Rypien drops back scans the field and finds C. Wilson open on the sideline. He fires, Wilson reaches out, Bronco fans are ready to cheer for a "BRONCO 1st DOWN" but intead it's Falcon M. Huffman making the catch for INT #3.

Again the Broncos defense steps up and makes a huge stop to force the punt. This time FR L. Collins leads the offense out and finally after a couple of nice runs by Mattison and a completed pass to a Bronco receiver, BSU looks like they are going to score. Not so fast Bronco fans, back to back drops in endzone and a sack force the Broncos to settle for a 30 yd FG to make it (7-3) at the end of the 1st Quarter.

The Falcons would open the 2nd Quarter with their own 31 yd FG to extend the lead to (10-3). Rypien and his 3 INT stay's on the bench as L. Collins takes over, but wait Huffman hasn't caught a pass from Collins. Let's see if he can do it, yes he can. BSU INT #4, Huffman #2.

Air Force goes back to the ground attack and its T. McVey again scoring from 4 yds to make it (17-3).

BSU retakes the field with 5 minutes to play in the half. Collins is still in. He completes 3 of 3 pass's, it looks like the Broncos are going to score, but wait!! That's not a Bronco WR catching the ball in the endzone, its M. Huffman for his 3rd INT of the game. Are we sure he has the fright uniform on.

Up by 2 scores one would think that the Falcons would just continue to use their option game to run time off the clock, but P. Davis decides he should go to the air, but FR Avery Williams is ready and he picks off the pass taking it 60 yds before being tackled at the 7 yd line.

With both QB's struggling, one has to wonder will we see RS FR Jake Constantine. Nope it's #4 (B. Rypien) leading the offense out on the field. After a run for no gain, and then another for a 2 yd loss, it's 3rd and goal. Rypien drops back and finds FR M. Lee in the back of the endzone for the score to make it (17-10) with 2:20 to play. The Defense steps up, and forces the punt, Rypien leads the team onto the field with 1 minute to play and 60 yds from a game tying TD. 3 players later, Rypien fires and hits Butler in the hands. This time the ball stays there as he runs across the goal line for the score. Tied ball game at the half (17-17).

Air Force opens the 2nd half with the ball and keeps the ball on the ground, but the drive stalls out and their forced to punt. Hopefully they drink water fast though, cause Rypien opens up the 2nd half just like he did in the 1st as he completes his 4th INT of the day and the Broncos 6th. But wait the score is still tied, despite 6 INT.. Not for long though as Air Force adds 3 on a 43 yd FG to make it (20-17) as we end the 3rd.

Rypien is out, Collins is back in, 3rd string Jake Constantine is on the phone with his parents. He want's to transfer, he doesn't care where, he just wants to play. Rumors are Ventura College has a opening.

Collins looks good, he completes 4 of 5 and luckily the incomplete found the ground and not a Falcon defender. The Broncos lineup in a 5 WR set, and it's JR WR A. Richardson who comes up big with a 17 yd strike to give the Broncos the lead (24-20) with 5:43 to play in the game.

Air Force plays it smart as the chew up 3 minutes before they score on a Davis to Cleveland TD from 14 yds out. (27-24) 2:41 to play.

Collins leads the team out on the field as Moore looks to play the hot hand. The football gods had a different plan. Collins is sacked, Collins is carted off the field. Rypien is back in. Rypien throws, it's a Bronco 1st Down. Rypien throws again. It's INT #5. Ball game is over right? No.. That can't be the end. The Broncos were destine to win the MWC title, that's how Hollywood had it written up. A rematch against Oklahoma is what everyone wants to see.

The Defense comes up big and stops the Falcons as they settle for a 32 yd FG to make it (30-24).

Rypien and his 5 INT's still has one more chance to turn his worst game into his best, He has 1:02 to go 60 yds.. First it's a 14 yd strike to Wilson, Rypien goes no-huddle and fires to Lee for 19 yds again the Broncos hurry to the line. Coach Moore wants to call a timeout, but there isn't any. Coach Harsin used them well the Broncos were on "D". Rypien kills the clock with a spike. 42 seconds to play, 27 yds to go. Back to back incomplete pass's sets up a 4th and 10, by Rypien comes up huge escaping the sack and running for 13 yds before going out of bounds. 20 seconds to play. 14 yds to go. Rypien fires, Wilson makes the catch getting his foot in bounds before going out at the 4 yd line for the 10 yd grab. 17 seconds left, 4 yds to go, no timeouts. The Broncos line up in another 5 WR set. Rypien audibles A. Butler to a quick out well the rest of the team is running slants. The defense bites leaving Butler one on one with his man, he makes his cut, the ball is there. Tied ball game (30-30) FR D. Stephens comes in and makes the biggest kick of his life, as he splits the uprights for the PAT to make it (31-30).

Air Force would get 1 last chance after the return. Davis drops back and tries to heave it the distance of the field. FR Avery Williams is there and catches it like it was a punt return.. Ball game over..FINAL SCORE BSU-31 A.F.-30

*In all my years and countless number of games, I can't remember ever winning a game with 7 INT's on top of losing my star RB.

Insane game. The computer diffidently has games that they throw everything at you. My new season with Navy had four fumbles first half recovered by Penn State, I got absolutely destroyed.

I have 1000+ games played on this game and I can't say I ever remember throwing 7 picks in a game and still winning.

                          Mountain West Title Game.

Broncos vs Aztecs for the 2nd Year in a row, only the difference is this year the winner is headed to Phoenix for a chance to play #8 Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

Hollywood, and probably every college football fan around the nation will tell you the 2007 game still is amongst the best that's ever been played as Boise State really took ahold of many hearts across the nation as they beat the Sooners in Overtime (43-42). So a chance at a rematch 10 years later would be dream come true.

But we can even dream of that scenerio, first the Broncos need to get past the Aztec's.

The Broncos won the regular season meeting on "The BLue" 28-7, in which Jeremy "McWeapon" McNichols rushed for 100+ yds and 4 scores, but this time Boise State would be without their star RB. The game also featured SDSU's QB C. Chapman having the worst game of his career (5/27 for just 26 yds) Well the JR QB doesn't put up huge numbers he typically is better then that showing averaging almost 150 yds per game as he enters with 141 completeions/317 attempts for 1926 yds, 16 TD's/6 INT

Were San Diego really shines is their run game where SR's R. Penny (223 carries 1098 yds 9 TD) and M. Stamps (167 carries 892 yds 10 TD's combine to make one of the best duo's in the nation and well Chapman isn't a huge thrower he makes up for it with his legs having rushed for over 600 yds and 6 scores on the ground.

For Boise State, winning this game and making a return trip to face Oklahoma would be the the circle coming full again. The Broncos have struggled to maintain their dominance as a program once Kellen Moore graduated, but now they come into this game with Moore back running the offense yet again, only this time from the sidelines. Now with a 10-2 record, the Broncos have the nation's attentition too. Ranked #17 in the Coaches Poll and #18 in the Media as well as #18 in the BCS Rankings, Boise State is ready to prove once and for all they are back and ready to continue their reign as one of the nations best non-power 5 schools in the country.

                          GAME RECAP
Over the past 5 games SR WR Cedric Wilson has quietly positioned himself with the ability to leave Boise State with the school record for most receptions in a single season (88 by M. Miller and T. Sperbeck). Entering the game with 79 receptions on the season, Wilson opens up the scoring in the 1st Quarter with a 16 yd TD grab (which happend to be this 15th of the year) as Boise STate makes it (7-0).

SDSU would answer back in at the start of the 2nd, as Chapman goes to the air and hits D. Richardson on a 12 yd stike to make it (7-7), but 2 more Rypien TD's (10 yd to J. Roh) and (31 yds to A. Butler) gives Boise State the (21-7) lead going into the locker rooms.

Chapman would put the Aztecs on the scoreboard in the 3rd with a 15 yd pass to D. Wells to make it (21-14) as the teams head into the final quarter of play.

Chapman would then tie the game as he hits C. Favreau from 17 yds out to make it (21-21) with 4 minutes to play. The Aztecs were playing tough and were not ready to give up.
Rypien would lead the Broncos down the field completing 5/5 pass's but then 2 drops and a horrible throw that just missed being picked off, would lead to a D. Stephens 29 yd FG making it (24-21).

San Diego State would gete the ball back with 2 minutes to play, but the Broncos "D" wasn't going to let themselves, the fans, or the nation down. The Aztecs were forced into a 4th and 10 and would fail to convert and the Offense would take over, as Rypien takes a knee to close out the game. FINAL SCORE BSU-24 SDSU-21

                          KEY PLAYERS

                          R. Penny 11 carries 51 yds

                          Coach Moore after the game
"I am so proud of this team, I honestly can't believe we just pulled that off, They had more 1st downs (20/19) a better 3rd down conversion (66^% to 54) and even completed a 4th down conversion, plus ran for over 200 yds which gave them more TOP (3 minutes more)"

                            BCS ANNOUNCES 2017 BOWL SCHEDULE

*Note I don't have the editor, so I won't be creating a playoff format, but I will be installing a future realignment with 8 conferences with direct ties to the major bowls and hopefully things will play out as they should*

#1 OHIO STATE WILL FACE #2 AUBURN FOR THE RIGHT TO BE COME NATIONAL CHAMPS!!

(13-0) Ohio State was the only team to finish the season undefeated as they close out the year with wins over #12 Michigan and then beat Wisconsin for a 2nd time this season to win the Big Ten title.

(12-1) Auburn lost on 11/1 @ Arkansas (21-18) but then went on to beat Georgia and LSU at home plus Alabama on the road before defeating Georgia (45-3) in the SEC Championship game.

#17 MIAMI TO PLAY #25 USF IN ORANGE BOWL

(10-3) Miami finished 8-1 in the ACC including a win over #9 Clemson in the ACC Champsionship game (34-28) to earn their spot.

(10-2) USF won the right despite no Conference title game as they finished with the best overall record in the American Conference at (8-1). Their only loss was to Louisville. Next season as realignment takes place the American Conference will grow to 12 teams and a title game will be added.

#6 FAU TO FACE #4 NOTRE DAME IN SUGER BOWL

FAU finished the season at 11-2 Overall and (7-2) in CUSA play including a (24-20) win over Tulane in the title game after losing to the Green Wave during the regular season (27-24).

Norte Dame is still in limbo playing a Indpendent schedule as they are undecided on whether to join the Big Ten Conference next or wait and see what shakes out in the American Conference. The Irish finished the year (10-2) with loss's at #21 USC (31-26) and at home vs Michigan (28-24).

#3 FSU VS #7 ASU IN THE ROSE BOWL

Florida State finished the season (10-2) losing to Clemson and Miami in ACC play thus missing out on the ACC Bowl game which cost them the chance to move to #2.

Arizona State finished the regular season (10-3) losing to Notre Dame at home and then to both Washington Schools at home, but they got their revenge against #5 Washington in the Pac-12 title game beating the Huskies (28-7).

#8 OKLAHOMA VS #16 BOISE STATE IN THE FIESTA BOWL

A rematch of one of the most watched and rewatched college bowl games of the century.

Oklahoma finished the year 11-1 Overall and (8-1) in Big 12 play with their only loss of the season coming in rivalry week against instate rival Oklahoma State (24-21) in the last game they played. With almost a month between games, the Sooners should be well rested and ready to get their revenge.

Boise State finishes the year (11-2) with the win over SDSU in the MWC title game. Coming in with 10 straight wins, will the Broncos have the magic to pull off one of the greatest upsets of all times for a 2nd time. They will have to do it without their full arsenal as "McWeapon" is ruled out.

                            COSTLY TITLE GAME LOSS'S

#5 Washington finished 11-2 but their loss in the Pac-12 title game was costly. Now they have to settle for a spot in the Alamo Bowl vs #10 Kansas State (9-3)

#9 Clemson finished 11-2 and just 8-1 in ACC play, but like UW, their loss to Miami in the title game sends them packing to the Chick-fil-A- Bowl where they will face off against a (6-6) Arkansas team.

                              SOONERS REVENGE? OR BRONCOS REPEAT?

It was the question every football fan and sportswriter across the country was asking. What headline would be front page after the game. 10 years from the Game of the Century in which Boise State beats Oklahoma in Overtime with the Statue of Liberty, its Sooners vs Broncos Part II.

Before the game Sooners SR QB Baker Mayfield was very vocal, stating the Broncos h
ad zero chance of pulling off the upset. Coach Moore's response "Baker is a very talented QB and one of the best in the nation, but he should look up the word Humble"
Would Mayfield be eating some Humble pie, or would he hand the Broncos one of their worst defeats in school history?

Boise State came into the game with the #1 passing attack in the nation and the and had the #3 Offense in the nation in Total yards, but this would be their first time facing the #1 Defense in the nation, as the Sooner's D averages just 13.5 PPA.

The Sooners secondary was quoted saying
they felt like they were going to enjoy catching pass's from Broncos QB B. Rypien all night long
                              GAME RECAP

The Sooners won the toss and elected to kick, but Mayfield wouldn't have to wait long to get to put Oklahoma on the scoreboard, as the SO CB P. Cobb picks off Rypien's 2nd pass attempt of the game to set up a Mayfield 9 yd TD run (7-0).

Rypien however would shake off the INT with a 77 yd play action pass to SR WR C. Wilson for the score to make (7-7)

Mayfield however quickly fired back as he connects with J. Mead on a 44yd bomb to make it (14-7).

Rpyien looked to put his early INT behind him as he finds JR WR A. Richardson for a 33 yd score to tie the game (14-14) with 1:40 to play in the 1st Quarter.

Oklahoma would drive down the field though and at the start of the 2nd Quarter SO RB J. Mixon would run over the defense for a 9 yd score to make it (21-14). Then on the kickoff, revenge would strike as the Sooners catch the Broncos off guard with a onside kick that OU recovers and follows it up with a Mayfield 2 yd score making it (28-14).

Down by 2 scores, Rypien tries to go to the air, but the Sooners "D" was ready as they pick off the pass for their 2nd INT of the game setting up another Mixon 6 yd TD run (35-14). But Rypien again puts the INT in the past and comes out firing connecting on a 18 yd strike to Wilson for his 2nd TD of the game to make it (35-21) with 4:25 to play, but a 4 play 80 yd scoring drive capped off by a 25 yd TD pass from Mayfield makes it (42-21) with 3:44. Again Rypien feels the pressure down by 3 scores and he tries to thread the needle, but Cobb is there again coming up with his 2nd INT and the Defense's 3rd of the game.

Oklahoma would make it even more costly as Mixon runs in his 3rd score of the game from 5 yds out to make it (49-21). With Rypien struggling, FR Luke Collins would take the final drive of the half with 1:21 to play but Collins would go 3 and out as the Broncos are forced to punt.

Giving up 49 points in the 1st half, the Broncos D was embarrassed. Was Oklahoma going to score 100? Down by 4 scores could Rypien or Collins start the miracle comeback?

Oklahoma would open the 2nd half with the ball and Mayfield went right back to work shredding the Bronco D as he finds J. Smallwood for a 22 yd score to make it (56-21), Collins would lead the Broncos in their first drive of the 2nd half, but his fate was no better then Rypien's as he throws a INT that sets up another Mayfield score (29 yd pss to Mead). Making it (63-21).

Collins again would lead the team onto the field but again the Sooners "D" was just sitting back waiting for a bad pass, as Collins throws INT #2. as the 3rd Quarter comes to a close.

Down (63-21) the ball game was over, but the problem was it wasn't. Oklahoma would run the ball despite Mayfield's plea to put it in the air, and the Broncos D would come up with a much needed stop as UO settles for a 34 yd FG making (66-21) with 4 mintues to play. With both QB's struggling Broncos fans were greeted with a huge surprise as #85 lined up behind center. For those wondering who #85 is. It's true FR Marcus Lee who has been the #2 WR all season racking up double digit TD catches. Now it was Lee a high school QB getting the chance to throw his first college pass. Lee wasted little time connecting on a 13 yd strike to TE J. Roh on his first attempt and then after 2 more completed pass's it was C. Wilson grabbing the 4 yd strike from Lee to make it (66-28).

Again Oklahoma would stick to the ground game as Mayfield is even finally pulled from the game, and again the offense is stopped and forced to settle for a 45 yd FG making it (69-28). With 1 minute to play could Lee direct another Broncos score? The Broncos would come out in a Wildcat formation with Lee lined up back at WR and Rypien behind Center with FR A. Mattison lined up out wide. Mattison appeared to have a set on his defender as he raced down the field, and Rypien fired, but the ball would glance off Mattison's hands and into the hands of the Sooners D as the game would come to a end. FINAL SCORE OKLAHOMA-69 BOISE STATE-28

Is anyone else having issues with OS site. Everytime I make a post my screen freezes as it's trying to load stupid advertisments and I end up having to save and restart. Just curious if it was just my account of the website in general.
