Alex Smith leads CHIEFS over RAIDERS 33-14 to eliminate Oakland from Playoff Contention...

    RECAP

Oakland, CA- The last time the Oakland Raiders(0-11) saw the Playoffs was 2002 when Rich Gannon won MVP on their way to a blowout loss in Super Bowl 37 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jon Gruden.

With the lights on bright inside Oakland Coliseum on Thursday Night Football, the Oakland Raiders(0-11) added to their Playoff drought and we're officially eliminated from Playoffs thanks to a loss to their rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs(9-2).

"Being eliminated from the Playoffs is rough and the way things went for us this year was hard. It sucks being in the position we're at." Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen stated.

Chiefs Quarterback Alex Smith returned tonight after missing some time with an injury. He had 172 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

K.C never turned the ball over once.

"We played great Football tonight especially against a Division Rival." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid stated.

Raiders Quarterback Matt Schaub had some consistency throwing 205 yards, 2 Touchdowns and a Interception.

His favorite target tonight was Veteran James Jones who had 5 catches for 108 yards and a Touchdown.

"We found some consistency on Offense but still fell short." Schaub stated.

Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles ran all over the Raiders for 154 yards and a Touchdown.

"He's been a big part of our Offense all year long." Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Doug Pederson stated.

The Raiders(0-11) had just 246 yards Offensively as the Chiefs(9-2) wrapped up with 365.

With the loss tonight to the Chiefs, the Raiders have now lost 17 straight games dating back to last year when they finished with a 6 game losing streak for a 4-12 record.

Now officially being eliminated from the Playoff Race, Oakland must now turn their attention to the last 5 games and the Off-Season.

The struggling Atlanta Falcons haven't won a Home game all year and will welcome the red hot Cleveland Browns. The Falcons will have their work cut out for them today as they will attempt to keep their faint playoff hopes alive inside the Georgia Dome.
The Browns have really made some noise this year under new Head Coach Mike Pettine. "Believeland" is leading the North and look to capture their first North Title and make playoffs for the first time since 2002.

BROWNS beat FALCONS 29-7 inside Georgia Dome...Atlanta on verge of missing Playoffs...

        RECAP

Atlanta, GA- The ship continues to sink for the struggling Atlanta Falcons(3-8) who are on the verge of missing the Playoffs for the second year in a row.

"We're not playing good right now. " Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith stated.

Atlanta has been struggling all year and speculation is that Smith will be fired by January.

Smith's System has ran stale in Atlanta. Quarterback Matt Ryan is struggling to move the Offense.

Today the Falcons(3-8) only had 10 First Downs all game and only managed 7 points.

A Touchdown pass from Ryan to Rookie WR Conrad McDonald.

"It's been brutal all year for us as a Football Team. We're working on some things but bottom line is we're all looking forward to a change." Falcons Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter stated.

Ryan had 194 yards with a Touchdown and a Interception. Atlanta struggled to move the ball finishing with 228 yards of Total Offense.

Browns Quarterback Brian Hoyer had a field day against the struggling Falcons. 245 yards and 3 Touchdowns.

Cleveland(8-3) never turned the ball over once.

"We're playing really good right now at this point in the year. We know we have a huge opportunity in front of us and we can see the Playoffs." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine stated.

Pettine has done a great job in his first year turning around the Browns Franchise.

The Browns(8-3) took a 19-7 lead into halftime and never looked back.

"Had a great day offensively. 370 yards." Browns Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan stated.

The Browns have now won 3 straight and will look to keep pushing for the Playoffs.

        A place Cleveland hasn't seen since 2002.

CAROLINA PANTHERS in 2014, What went Wrong?

          11/23/14

          John Franklin

In 2013, the Carolina Panthers went 12-4 and clinched their first NFC South Division Title since 2008. Carolina lost in the Divisional Round to the San Francisco 49ers.

Optimism was high entering the 2014 campaign in which Cam Newton looked poised to lead the Panthers on another Playoff run. With a Week 1 blowout win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which the Panthers dropped 58 Points, Carolina crashed down to earth and hard.

What happened next was bizarre. The Panthers would drop 10 straight games and we're eliminated from the Playoffs after a 49ers Week 11 win over the Giants.

Quarterback Cam Newton led the Panthers to a 1-7 start in which he only had 6 Touchdowns to 15 Interceptions. Newton began turning the ball over constantly. Head Coach Ron Rivera had seen enough.

He benched Newton for backup Veteran Derek Newton in hopes of salvaging the Season.

          It didn't work.

Carolina fell to 1-10 as they entered their Week 12 BYE.

"We're all disappointed on how this Season turned out for us." Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera stated.

What exactly went wrong in Carolina? Is it that their Franchise Quarterback had a down year and sunk the Team?

"Look no idea what you guys want me to say. We're having a rough year." Newton barked at reporters.

Derek Anderson hasn't really provided much of a spark as he has gone 0-3 with 1 Touchdown and 6 picks dropping the Panthers to 1-10.

Third String QB is Joe Webb who hasn't seen playing time this year.

OAKLAND RAIDERS: Mark Davis "Changes are coming."

            11/23/14

            John Franklin

Raiders Owner Mark Davis has apparently seen enough after the Raiders have fallen to 0-11 and we're officially eliminated from the Playoffs on Thursday Night Football.

It's been speculated all year that Head Coach Dennis Allen may be fired by January and the way it looks now may be a reality.

"It's time for some changes. This year has been absolutely horrible for everybody." Davis stated.

The Raiders are inching closer to becoming the second team in history to go 0-16.

Looks to be a Off-Season of changes for the Raiders.

"Happy to be a Bear for now." Conte added.

TITANS win 6 straight with 31-24 victory over EAGLES...

                  RECAP

Philadelphia, PA- There was no love in the "City of Brotherly Love" when the Tennessee Titans(7-4) defeated the Philadelphia Eagles(6-5) 31-24.

The Titans have now won 6 straight after a 0-3 start.

"We have a great group of guys in this locker room. We've been facing adversity all year and we worked hard to get to where were at. We're hungry for what the future holds and we know we can get to the Playoffs." Titans Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt stated.

Whisenhunt has done a great job in turning the Titans around in his first year as Tennessee sits at 7-4 and in first place in the AFC South.

Titans Quarterback Jake Locker lit up the struggling Eagles Defense for 254 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

A bad pass to Safety Malcolm Jenkins and the Eagles had a Pick-6.

The Titans 5th Ranked Defense made Eagles QB Nick Foles struggle today.

Foles had 145 yards and a Touchdown while being sacked 6 times.

Philly never turned the ball over once. Tennessee had 2 Turnovers.

"We won the Turnover battle today but couldn't really put up points off those." Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly stated.

Titans "Workhorse" RB Shonn Greene had 31 carries for 185 yards and a TD.

"He's a big part of the Offense. We go as he does." Locker stated.

Eagles RB Darren Sproles had 76 yards and 14 carries for a score.

The Titans racked up 539 Total Yards to the Eagles 254.

"Rough loss for us today, lot to work on including moving the football. We have a tough Division game coming up on Thanksgiving." Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly stated.

Yeah crazy. They started out 0-3, went 1-4, then with the injury to Andrew Luck and Houston and Jacksonville in a rebuild phase, this left the door wide open for Whisenhunt's Titans.

The Lions welcome back Franchise Quarterback Matthew Stafford and just in time for a matchup with Tom Brady. Stafford missed the past handful of games nursing a injury. The Leo's will attempt to knock off "The Dynasty" in Foxborough, but it's no easy task. New England is ranking a Top 10 Defense and the #3 Offense with weapons like Edelman and North. Let's not forget Gronk. The Pats will look to win their 4th straight game.
The Lions are still trying to fit in with Caldwell's new System as the Offense sits at 26th with the 15th Defense. It's been a rebuild year for sure for the Motor City. Stafford will test the coverage led by All Pro Darrelle Revis who leads the league in Interceptions.

Stafford returns, LIONS fall short to Brady's PATRIOTS 34-28...

                          RECAP

Foxboro, MA- It was 35 Degrees and clear this afternoon inside Gillette Stadium and any questions of Stafford being rusty was quickly answered at kickoff.

"I missed some time with an injury and I was ready to go today. It's a tough place to play so I had to be perfect." Lions Quarterback Matthew Stafford stated.

Stafford was perfect. 226 yards and 3 Touchdowns. He had a Rating of 137.6 in his first game back.

"He's the leader of this Team, our guys rely on him every week. It was great having him back today as we keep moving forward." Lions Head Coach Jim Caldwell stated.

"The GOAT" Tom Brady answered right back with 370 yards and 3 Touchdowns of his own.

Neither Team turned the ball over.

"Great Football. Great Coaching." Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick stated.

The New England Patriots(9-2) have now won 4 straight and sit ahead 2 games over the New York Jets(6-3-1) in the AFC East.

The Detroit Lions(4-7) have now lost 3 straight as the Motor City gets used to Caldwell's System.

"It's a process. We're doing good things here." Caldwell added.

The Patriots Defense struggled today as Patricia's Unit was pushed around. Lions RB Reggie Bush broke free for a 83 yard gain and a Touchdown.

Bush finished the day with 15 carries and 131 yards.

"We need to be focused for 60 minutes. Today we weren't and we won by 6." Patriots Defensive Coordinator Matt Patricia stated.

Pats RB Shane Vereen had 100 yards of his own but never crossed the Goal line.

"Minitron" Julian Edelman made some big plays as he had 8 catches for 108 yards.

Brandon LaFell scored once and Gronk scored once.

"I thought our Offense was very good today. Missed some throws by Brady but that happens. We still got 34 Points and 481 yards of Offense." Patriots Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels stated.

Stafford was sacked 6 times by New England while Brady 3.

Detroit will have 4 days to prepare as they play their regular Tradition Thanksgiving Game.

                            Game Notes
The Green Bay Packers have been struggling the past few weeks losing back to back games against the Bears and Eagles. What's worse is that the Team has grown stale and is now causing drama with Head Coach Mike McCarthy. McCarthy has been under fire a lot the past few weeks even being called out by his own Locker Room. The Offense can put up Points however the Defense is ranked among the worst in the league. Rodgers and the Locker Room has been calling out McCarthy for his conservative Play calling and a trip to Minnesota might not be a place to start. Mike McCarthy has refused to adapt or change his System or even make adjustments. The Vikings should exploit the fraud McCarthy today and show the cracks in the Packers Offense. Question is will McCarthy finally open his eyes?

                            Packers Offense: 4
                            Packers Defense: 30

                            Vikings Offense: 16
                            Vikings Defense: 27

Despite ugly performance, PACKERS SWEEP VIKINGS 35-16....

                              RECAP

Minneapolis, MN- The Green Bay Packers(7-4) are in trouble.

Sure it's easy to look at the 35 points on a terrible Vikings(2-9) Defense but the way the Packers got it was ugly.

The Packers struggled bad to move the ball.

Mike McCarthy never changed. He stuck to his Play calling even when the Packers(7-4) struggled to move the ball and gain yards.

Rodgers struggled to throw and Lacy struggled to run the ball.

"It was a mess. Every moment for us was just a mess." Rodgers stated after the Game.

It's no secret the Packers Locker Room has grown tired and stale of their Head Coach.

For the First Half the Packers struggled to move the ball and kicked Field Goals and a sack on Rookie QB Nick Montana in the endzone had the Packers down 10-8 at halftime.

"Didn't do anything and all we had was 8 Points in a half. It was bad." Rodgers continued.

Throughout the Game, Camera's caught many Packers Players including Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Eddie Lacy, AJ Hawk, Etc. approaching McCarthy for answers but their Head Coach kept shrugging them off.

"Look we won the game and they still want to talk to me. We scored 35 Points. Our system will get us to the Super Bowl." Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy stated.

35 Points sure, ugly though. The Packers finished with 300 yards of Offense and 334 Total.

Not much to write home about.

"We should have had more yards honestly." McCarthy added.

                              WAKE UP DEFENSE.

The Packers Pass Rush ranked Dead last in the League coming into the Game and Dom Capers Defensive Unit sacked Rookie Quarterback Nick Montana 10 times.

10 Sacks on a Rookie QB with just a few starts under his belt.

"I'll take it." Capers stated with a smile. "We can sack anybody!"

Packers President Mark Murphy was in today's Press Box and even had some words of his own.

"Despite the victory against a lowly Team, this was by far the worst Game to watch with a win. I'm not happy." Murphy stated.

"He knows how the Players feel. We're all wanting a change." Packers WR Jordy Nelson stated.

The Packers Offense was so stale that all of his Wideouts we're constantly covered. McCarthy's schemes never adapted and left his QB out to dry.

Rodgers finished with just 167 yards, 3 Touchdowns, and a pick. His Touchdowns we're mostly due to great starting yard position due to the Vikings poor punts.

Mason Crosby kicked 4 Field Goals.

Vikings(2-9) Rookie Quarterback Nick Montana had 212 yards, 2 Touchdowns and a pick of his own.

"It was a tough game for us. Green Bay had a good Defense today and Aaron Rodgers is the best to ever do it." Montana stated.

Both Team's Running Game struggled as Eddie Lacy had 119 yards off 29 Carries and no scores.

"All Day" Peterson was held to just 50 yards off 16 Carries and no scores.

"Need to work on that for next week." Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated. "Lot to improve on and work on as we head into the final Games of the year."

The Packers(7-4) will need to get a good plan for next week as Tom Brady comes to Town.

The Vikings(2-9) sit on the verge of being eliminated from Playoffs.

In case you haven't been following the Green Bay Packers in 2014, you've been missing out on a lot of Drama inside the locker room.

Not as bad as the Pittsburgh Steelers story, but the Packers have issues of their own.

Back in Week 3 with a 28-24 victory over the Detroit Lions, Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy went on record saying "He turned over a new leaf."

This proved to be a lie. He proved he was full of it the very next week when he cost the Packers the game against the Rival Chicago Bears.

Soon after racing out to a 6-2 record in the first half of the year, the Packers sit at 7-4.

Over the second half of the year, the Packers have fallen to the Eagles and swept by the Bears.

Tensions have became high since. Many rumors circling around the Packers locker room that many players have called out Head Coach Mike McCarthy for his conservative ways.

But it wasn't just the Players in Green Bay. After a embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, many Coaches across the league have blasted McCarthy across Social Media.

Today in Minnesota the Offense was stale and struggled to move the ball.

"We weren't very good today. We're stale. This whole Offense has been stale. That starts with Mike and we need a change." Rodgers stated.

Packers President Mark Murphy made it known he wasn't happy with the Staff. He's reported on watching the Team closely this year.

Changes may be coming for the Packers. McCarthy's Contract is good through the 2015 Season so it should be interesting to see what happens next in Title Town.
