BEARS win 5th Straight with 24-17 Victory over COWBOYS on Thursday Night Football...
RECAP
Chicago, IL- It was a cold chilly night in Chicago where the Bears(11-2) knocked off the Dallas Cowboys(9-4) enroute to their 5th straight Victory.
"Getting on a nice streak is really building up our confidence." Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman stated.
DA BEARS have won 5 straight and are pushing for the #1 Seed in the NFC Playoffs.
Jay Cutler had 222 yards and a Touchdown. He didn't need to do much.
Matt Forte ran for 100 yards and 2 Touchdowns. Including the Game Winner.
Chicago(11-2) took a 14-0 lead in the First Quarter. But Dallas(9-4) would battle back against a tough Bears Defense that forced multiple 3 and outs.
It was 17-7 at halftime.
"Went into halftime down by 10. Made some adjustments came back out and thought we had a better Second half." Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett stated.
Tony Romo lit up the Bears secondary for 357 yards and 2 Touchdowns.
Dallas(9-4) is still leading the East and sitting pretty well over the Division.
Chicago made DeMarco Murray struggle a bit but he finished with 89 yards and no Touchdowns.
No Team had any turnovers.
The Bears took the lead for good late in the 4th and Tony Romo's last pass in the end zone was batted down as time expired.
"Fell short in the end but I thought overall our play was great. We know that come Playoffs if we have to come back here we'll have a new plan." Garrett added.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: Quarterback Tom Brady to miss the next 3 Games with sore Shoulder...
12/5/14
Written by: Adam Schefter
Quarterback Tom Brady left the Patriots loss to the Green Bay Packers early in the first Quarter on Sunday. Tom took a hit by Packers Rookie Defensive Lineman Tim Ward and landed hard on his throwing shoulder.
"I felt a pop of some kind when I hit the ground." Explained Brady.
Ryan Mallett took over at Quarterback but the Patriots fell to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers 21-17.
When Brady went into the Locker Room to be checked out, Patriots Medical Staff determined that their Franchise Quarterback had suffered a torn shoulder.
"It's a soft tear." One Doctor said. "Rest up for a few weeks and he should be ready to go."
It's no secret that Bill Belichick and the Pats can win without Brady, how far the Team can go without him is the question.
In 2008 with Brady on the shelf with a torn ACL, New England rallied behind Matt Cassel to a 11-5 Record.
Belichick has announced that Mallett will be the starter and Rookie Jimmy Garoppolo will be the backup.
New England sits at 9-3 and will meet the Chargers in San Diego for a Sunday Night Showdown between the Teams that will possibly meet in the Playoffs.Comment

PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Ben Roethlisberger takes more shots at Team ahead of Bengals Matchup...
12/5/14
Written by: Adam Schefter
It's a scene too familiar in the Steel City. Ben Roethlisberger throwing his Teammates and Coaches under the bus after a loss.
Today on his Radio Show and at his press conference as the Steelers prepare for a crucial Game against the Bengals on Sunday.
"Nobody on the Team is doing their job right now. Our Defense gave up 55 points. That's unacceptable. They need to do their job and help us out." Roethlisberger stated.
The Franchise Quarterback continued about his own performance.
"The Interceptions I had wasn't my fault. The Receivers need to run their routes. If they did their jobs we would win Games."
The Drama has exploded from the Field into the Locker Room, on the practice Field, even to Social Media where the Steelers are firing back at Roethlisberger.
Head Coach Mike Tomlin is constantly putting our fires caused by his Quarterback.
"Ben is passionate about the Game. The guys really respond to him. We're all frustrated on how this Season has gone but Ben needs to be better at communicating." Tomlin said.
It's been a pattern all year for the Steelers.Comment

GREEN BAY PACKERS: More Drama in Titletown...
12/5/14
Written by: Adam Schefter
The Green Bay Packers may be 8-4 heading into their Monday Night Showdown with the Atlanta Falcons, but the Pack are nothing more than a Team of Drama in 2014.
"It's been ridiculous all year long." Quarterback Aaron Rodgers stated.
And he's not wrong.
But Head Coach Mike McCarthy can't blame anyone but himself.
After a Week 3 Victory over the Detroit Lions McCarthy stated in his Post Game Press Conference that he was turning over a new leaf and it was time to go for the throat.
This was a lie. The very next Week in Chicago, McCarthy was back to his old conservative ways. He took the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hands in the final moments and put his Defense back on the field.
The Bears won 27-20. Rodgers never got the ball back.
Despite the loss, Green Bay jumped out to a 6-2 start. But then back to back losses to the Bears on Sunday Night and Eagles has them at 8-4. A poor performance in Minnesota where despite 35 points, the Team struggled.
McCarthy has made it known he's not changing. He believes his System is still working. Even when multiple Players like Rodgers, Nelson, Hawk, etc call their Coach out, he doesn't budge.
And it's ugly now in Green Bay.
It's so ugly that the Offense is stale and Aaron Rodgers has double digit picks for the first time since 2010.
It's not cause Rodgers is having a down year. It's because McCarthy's Offense is so stale that the WR's are constantly covered and no gets open.
"It's just terrible. We been talking to him during Games and he just blows us off like it's nothing." WR Jordy Nelson stated.
In the Sunday Night Football loss to the Bears, McCarthy was criticized for punting the ball away late in the 4th while losing big. Once again taking the Ball out of his Quarterbacks hands.
Many NFL Coaches around the league took to Twitter to call out McCarthy.
The Bears won 30-13 and swept the Packers for the first time since 2007.
Aaron Rodgers hasn't kept his mouth shut on the Drama and has the Locker Room support when it comes to McCarthy.
Over Thanksgiving McCarthy was spotted in South Beach talking to Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross for a job.
Packers Owner Mark Murphy was angry at how bad his Head Coach has been this year.
Despite their 8-4 Record, the Packers have taken a step back from their 8-7-1 Record last year.
With the Falcons in town Monday Night, McCarthy must be willing to work with Rodgers if they wish to make the Playoffs.Comment

BENGALS too much for STEELERS in 48-10 Blowout! Pittsburgh drop 4th straight....
RECAP
Cincinnati, OH- The Pittsburgh Steelers(5-8) are in danger of missing the Playoffs for the third year in a row.
"It's been rough. So many problems within our Organization. People can't keep the feelings out." Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin stated.
The Steelers have caused a lot of Drama in the news this year. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been at the center of it all. Ben has made numerous headlines throwing his Team under the bus after ugly losses.
And today was no different.
"Yeah we didn't do well today. I did my part, the Team didn't. Not my fault." Roethlisberger stated.
It's the same old song and dance.
Ben had 196 yards, 1 Touchdown, and 2 picks.
And he's back to blaming the Team again.
"2 Interceptions and it's our fault again. Man this is tiring." WR Chad Hall stated.
Roethlisberger's first pick was a pick 6. His second, He under threw TE Rob Blanchflower.
"Rob didn't run the route he was supposed to." Ben added.
"That's complete bull. I ran the route, you just under threw me." Rob fired back.
The Steelers(5-8) are a mess. Coach Mike Tomlin has been putting out fires caused by his Franchise Quarterback all season long.
"Ben is passionate about the Game. But in times of duress he needs to be a better leader." Tomlin stated.
The Steelers had a 10-7 lead in the second until the Bengals(7-6) went to work.
Putting up 41 unanswered points.
It was 27-10 at the half.
Cincy couldn't be stopped. Not even on third down. The Bengals punted just once and never again faced a 4th Down.
"We played very well against a tough Division opponent. Moved the ball well on Offense and got stops on Defense. Great Football today." Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis stated.
The Bengals completely destroyed the Steelers. The Defense alone pressured Ben so much that he had just 46% completed passes. Sacked twice, and picked off twice.
But the Steelers Defense was worse. Could never get off the field as Andy Dalton's Offense completed third downs enroute to 41 unanswered points.
Dalton had 257 yards, and 3 Touchdowns. No picks.
Bengals Running Back Giovani Bernard had 155 yards and 2 Touchdowns after breaking through for a huge 85 yarder on just his first carry of the game.
"That set the tone for us honestly. That breakaway for a Touchdown just set the tone for the game and we never had an answer." Steelers Defensive Coordinator Dick Lebeau stated.
"We never got out of our funk after up by 3." Tomlin added.
Roethlisberger and numerous Players like Chad Hall and Antonio Brown were seen arguing with each other throughout the game.
It's gotten ugly in 2014 for the Steelers.

12/7/14
Written by: Adam Schefter
Moments after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Rival Cincinnati Bengals 48-10, Defensive Coordinator Dick Lebeau was fired by the Steelers.
"Dick is a great Coach. However with how poorly our Defense has been this year it was time for a change. We wish him well." Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert stated.
In the 8 losses this year, the Steelers have allowed 31, 27, 40, 27, 42, 25, 55 last week to the Saints and 48 today.
"I take responsibility for this mess. I thank the Rooney Family and the Steelers Organization for 10 great years." LeBeau stated.
LeBeau helped the Steelers to 3 Super Bowls since 2004 winning 2 of them.
Linebackers Coach Keith Butler has been named the Interim Defensive Coordinator for the remaining 3 Games.Comment
