VIKINGS shine on Thursday Night Football off Cassel's 3 Touchdowns... Beat RAMS 24-16...

    RECAP

St. Louis, MO- The Minnesota Vikings(4-4) rebounded from last week's loss to the Chicago Bears with a 24-16 victory over the winless St. Louis Rams(0-8) on Thursday Night.

Vikings Quarterback Matt Cassel had 232 yards, 3 Touchdowns, and a pick with a Rating of 100.4 as Minnesota handed St. Louis their 8th straight loss.

"Losing Two Quarterbacks then having a Rookie out there has been rough for us. Believe me we're trying to win and not go 0-16. We don't want that honor. We still have half the Season left but man it's hard to get some Wins." Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher stated.

Quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Matt Simms are on the shelf for St. Louis as Rookie Jared Goff has been behind Center for the winless Rams.

"Every week is a new challenge. A new Team to face. I'm happy to be here in St. Louis as we try to get to work and find us our first win." Goff stated.

Goff had just 105 yards and a Touchdown as he continues to get his feet wet in the NFL.

Despite forcing 2 Turnovers, (A Peterson Fumble, and a Cassel Interception) the Rams(0-8) struggled on Offense with Goff under center.

St. Louis was held to Field Goals after taking a 7-0 lead in the First Quarter when Goff found Chris Givens in the Endzone.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 142 yards while Rams RB Zac Stacy had 93 yards.
    Neither crossed the Goal Line.

The Vikings(4-4) Touchdowns came from Johnny Ford and TE Kyle Rudolph who had 2.

"Rebounded with a Win and we needed that to give us some confidence as we head into the Second half." Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated.

Cassel's Pick was from 2nd Year LB Alex Hull. The Rams kicked a Field Goal that made it 24-16 in favor of Minnesota.

"Intercepted the Ball and we only get 3. That can't happen." Fisher added. "When you force Turnovers, you have to put up points. We didn't do that."

Washington appears to be moving on from once promising Quarterback Robert Griffin III after yet another injury has landed him on the IR. Head Coach Jay Gruden has announced that due to RG3's poor play and injury history causing the Redskins to be on a 6 Game slide, Kirk Cousins has been named the permanent starter for the rest of the 2015 Season. Cousins has done well under Center(7 Touchdowns, 3 Interceptions, 935 yards, 82 Rating.) as the Skins will try to snap their 6 game slide as they meet NFC East Rival, the Dallas Cowboys who beat Washington 2 Weeks ago in our Nation's Capital.

REDSKINS struggles continues, drop 7th straight loss with 34-6 blowout to COWBOYS...

        RECAP

Arlington, TX- The Washington Redskins(1-7) continue to struggle on Offense even after Head Coach Jay Gruden named Quarterback Kirk Cousins the Starter after benching QB Robert Griffifn III following another visit to the IR List.

"It's just not coming together for us on the Field." Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden stated. "Cousins is still the Quarterback for the Washington Redskins. Give him time. Give us time. We're getting there."

Cousins once again has been thrusted into the Starting QB position after RG3's Injury, a Fractured Arm.

Cousins has yet to finish a whole NFL Season under Center in his almost 4 years in the League.

"Coach Gruden named me the Quarterback and every week it's a challenge to try and get where we want to be. Give us time." Cousins stated.

Cousins struggled against the East Rival Dallas Cowboys(5-3) on Sunday inside AT&T Stadium. Cousins had 230 yards, 1 Touchdown, and 2 Interceptions as the Cowboys(5-3) continue to chase East Leading New York Giants for the Division lead.

"Still a whole half of Season left but we keep fighting for that Division Title again." Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett stated.

After a Dez Bryant Touchdown made it 7-0 in favor of Dem Boyz', Cousins first Interception was returned 20 plus yards for a Touchdown by Cowboys Safety Jordan Lewis.

"Just knew I had to make a play on the Ball." Lewis stated. He finished with 5 Tackles and the Pick that made it 14-0 in the First Quarter in favor of Dallas.

To kick off the Second Quarter, Cousins was picked off by Cowboys Cornerback Brandon Flowers. A 15 yard Touchdown pass to WR Justin Black and Dallas(5-3) held a 21-0 lead over Washington(1-7).

Cousins finally found WR Chris Hogan but a missed PAT by Redskins Kicker Kai Forbath made it 21-6.

These were the only points Washington got.

"Struggled bad on Offense today. Stalled out time after time. Need to work on that." Redskins Offensive Coordinator Sean McVay stated.

Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo found Dez Bryant a second time for a 28-6 lead before Two Dan Bailey's Field Goals in the Fourth made it 34-6 to put the Skins away.

Romo finished with 245 yards and 3 Touchdowns. DeMarco Murray rushed for 84 yards while Redskins RB Alfred Murray struggled with just 61 yards.

Dallas(5-3) simply dominated Washington(1-7) as the Redskins Defense simply struggled to stop the Cowboys on Third Down. Dallas converted 9/12 on Third Down.

With the loss, the Cowboys have swept the Redskins this Season and handed them a 7th straight loss.

Dallas beat Washington 41-35 just 2 Weeks ago in Landover.

Cutler returned last week in a Win over the Division Rival Minnesota Vikings to snap Chicago's 5 game slide. At 2-5 now, Chicago will try to turn their Season around with Cutler back under Center.

The Broncos continue their Car Wreck from last year dropping to 2-5 with Peyton Manning continuing to struggle. Head Coach John Fox has finally seen enough and benched the Future Hall of Famer in an attempt to turn the Broncos around. Brock Osweiller has been named the starter.

BEARS blowout BRONCOS 38-14 at Soldier Field...

            RECAP

Chicago, IL- Despite a tough 5 Game slide, the Chicago Bears(3-5) are beginning to rally behind their MVP Quarterback Jay Cutler.

Cutler returned last week in a Win over the Rival, Minnesota Vikings and today Da Bears(3-5) blew out the struggling Denver Broncos(2-6) who benched Peyton Manning for his struggles.

Broncos Quarterback Brock Osweiler started and did fairly decent with 290 yards and 2 Touchdowns. However the Broncos struggled to sustain Drives and Denver punted 6 times.

"In this League you need to score Points to win Football Games and today we didn't do that." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

Denver(2-6) took a 7-0 lead at the start of the Game when Osweiler found TE Julius Thomas in the End Zone.
But Chicago answered right back with a Cutler to Alshon Jeffrey Touchdown tied it up at 7-7.

A Brandon Marshall Touchdown and a 30 yard Field Goal by Robbie Gould gave Chicago(3-5) a 17-7 lead before Denver(2-6) cut it to 17-14 when Brock Osweiler found DeMaryius Thomas.

"We cut it to 3 there at the Half but we just fell on our face after that. We need to be much better at keeping Drives going on Offense." John Fox added.

In the Second Half Chicago blew it wide open with 21 unanswered Points when Running Back Bobby Lewis broke free for 36 yards that gave the Bears a 24-14 lead.

Denver took a chance on 4th and 14 when Kicker Matt Prater missed a 58 Yard Field Goal.

Not long after that, Bears Running Back Matt Forte rushed 38 yards for a Touchdown that gave Chicago a 31-14 lead.

"Today was a very impressive performance by our Football Team." Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman said. "When everyone is playing together and for each other we can win Football Games. We're in a hole with a tough Schedule coming up but we feel we can turn our Season around."

In the 4th Quarter Jay Cutler found Aaron White for his Third Touchdown Pass of the day.

Cutler finished with 238 yards and 3 Touchdowns. With Chicago up 38-14 in the final 2 Minutes, Cutler took a seat in favor of backup QB David Fales to get experience.

Fales first pass was intercepted by Denver's Cornerback Alfonzo Dennard. But once again Denver struggled on Offense as the Bears got to Brock Osweiler 7 times for Sacks.

Matt Forte had 167 yards with a Touchdown as Broncos Monte Ball was held to just 51 yards.

            INJURY UPDATE

Bears TE Martellius Bennett broke his Thumb and left the Game. He will miss 3 Games and should return in Week 13 when Chicago heads to Arizona.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS: Quarterback Robert Griffin III "Play me or Trade me."

              11/8/15

              Written By: Adam Schefter

Washington Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III is apparently unhappy with the Organization who drafted him 2nd Overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

"Yeah I'm pretty unhappy with how these past 2 years have gone here in Washington to be honest. I've dealt with some injuries then I was told I'm permanently benched by Coach Gruden. That's Bull**** man. I deserve to be out there on the Field every Sunday trying to win Games and get back to the Playoffs." Griffin III stated.

Washington Head Coach Jay Gruden has announced that RG3 will be benched even after returning from Injury in a few more Weeks.

"Time away from the Field will do him some good. We all love Robert but we can't keep risking to lose Games while we wait for him to get out of his funk. It's what's best for our Football Team to push forward. Kirk Cousins is our Quarterback." Gruden stated.

The Redskins are 1-7 on the year.

Jacksonville may be in trouble as QB Blake Bortles continues to struggle as a NFL Starting Quarterback. Bortles has 4 Touchdowns and 7 picks in 7 Games as the Jags are on a 5 Game slide. If Bortles doesn't show improvement soon then one has to wonder what Jacksonville decides to do moving forward by the end of the season.

The Dolphins are off to a rough start in the Mike McCarthy ERA. McCarthy was suspended for the First 4 Games and Franchise QB Ryan Tannehill is on IR after breaking his Collarbone and needing Surgery.

Bortles continues struggles, JAGUARS drop 6 straight with 27-10 loss to DOLPHINS...

                  RECAP

Jacksonville, FL- Quarterback Blake Bortles stood at the podium with a look of defeat on his face.

"It was a rough day for us. For me." Bortles stated.

The Jacksonville Jaguars(1-7) have just dropped their 6th straight loss Sunday with a loss to the Miami Dolphins(3-5) 27-10 inside Everbank Stadium.

And it was an ugly performance by the promising Franchise QB Blake Bortles who continues to struggle in 2015.

Bortles had 238 yards, 1 Touchdown, 3 Interceptions and even lost a Fumble as Miami forced 5 Turnovers. The 5th one was a Fumble by WR Justin Blackmon.

"Terrible performance by us today. Mistakes up and down. Rough pill for us to swallow." Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley stated.

It was 6-3 Miami in the Second Quarter until Dolphins Running Back Knowshon Moreno crossed the Goal Line for a 13-3 Dolphins Halftime lead.

"That was the turning point for us I think." Dolphins Head Coach Mike McCarthy stated.

Moreno finished the day with 147 yards and 2 Touchdowns while QB Matt Moore had 233 yards and a Touchdown.

Jags RB Storm Johnson had just 49 yards as the Jaguars Offense struggled with Bortles 3 Interceptions with 2 from Dolphins Safety Reshad Jones. 1 was in the End Zone.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: Quarterback Blake Bortles: "I need to be better."

                    11/8/15

                    Written By: Adam Schefter

After Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins which dropped the Jacksonville Jaguars to 1-7 on the season, Quarterback Blake Bortles addressed the Media.

"I need to be better." Bortles said after the Jaguars lost its 6th straight. "I'm a much better Quarterback than this. I know I can be better. I need to be better. This Team depends on me."

Bortles has struggled bad this Season as the Jags sit in last place in the AFC South Division with a 1-7 Record. Bortles has played in all 8 Games this year not missing any action at all but has failed to live up to expectations as the Second Year Signal Caller has 1,645 yards, 5 Touchdowns and 10 Interceptions.

In his Rookie year playing in 13 Games Bortles had 13 Touchdowns and 13 Interceptions.

The Jaguars are all in on Bortles this year to see if he can handle being the Franchise Quarterback as Gus Bradley has announced that Bortles is the QB for the year.

No other Quarterback on the Roster (Tim Tebow, Jordan Rodgers, and Chad Henne has seen any Action this year except for Tebow who has just 14 yards.

If Bortles can't get it together in the Second half of the season then the Jags may have some decisions to make come January.
