COLTS lose Andrew Luck on potential Game Winning Drive, TITANS win 31-27 over South Rivals...

      RECAP

Indianapolis, IN- The Tennessee Titans(4-2) have taken firm control of the AFC South with their 31-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts(3-4) on Thursday Night handing Indy their 4th straight loss.

"It's a tough spot for us to be in right now losing another game. We need to get back to work and turn this around." Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano stated.

The Titans(4-2) jumped out early thanks to a Maikon Bonani 45 yard Field Goal that got Tennessee on the board. The Titans added to their lead when Safety Michael Griffin intercepted Andrew Luck on the Colts own 24 yard line.

"He's a great Quarterback and we knew we had to be on our assignments and not cause many mistakes." Griffin stated. He racked up 4 Tackles and the Interception.

"That was a tough play the way it ended. He made a great read and picked me off." Luck added.

A 18 yard Touchdown Pass by Jake Locker to Derreck Taylor and the Titans went up 10-0.

But the Colts(3-4) refused to go down as Andrew Luck connected with Reggie Wayne for a Touchdown that got Indy on the board.

Reggie Wayne continues to chase history as he's now surpassed TE Tony Gonzalez for #5 on the All Time Receiving Yards list with 15,153.

Luck found Dwayne Allen to cut the Titans lead 17-14 but another Touchdown rush by Jake Locker and the Titans took a 24-14 lead into Halftime.

In the Second half the Colts(3-4) mounted a comeback when Andrew Luck's 3rd Touchdown of the Game to Hakeem Nicks cut the deficit to 3. But then Titans RB Shonn Greene fumbled and Indy recovered resulting in Dan Carpenters 47 yard field goal to tie the game at 24-24.

But Shonn Greene would get the last laugh however as he broke free for a 37 yard Touchdown. Indy countered with another Carpenter Field Goal that had the score 31-27 in favor of the Titans.

Greene finished with 146 yards and a Touchdown.

With 1:46 left in the 4th Quarter, Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck rushed for a First Down and injured his arm. He left for the sidelines as Indy trotted out backup QB Thad Lewis who failed to lead a Game Winning Drive.

Luck left the Game with 298 yards, 3 Touchdowns, and a Interception. Jake Locker had 169 yards, 1 Touchdown and 2 rushing touchdowns.

"Indy is a tough Team when Andrew (Luck) is back there under center. For us to come in here and get a win against them is huge for us." Titans Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt stated.

Indianapolis(3-4) will take their 4 Game losing streak into a BYE next Week and will take a look at Franchise Quarterback Andrew Luck who left with a arm injury.

BILLS Defense leads way for 27-17 victory over DOLPHINS...

          RECAP

Miami, FL- Bills Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz had one goal in mind as the Buffalo Bills(3-3) visited South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins(2-5).

"Pressure on the Quarterback." Schwartz stated. "We had to get after the QB and force him to make mistakes. We accomplished that today."

Back in Week 2 the Bills knocked off the Dolphins 26-20 in Overtime. Today Buffalo snapped their 3 Game skid with a sweep over their East Rival.

Quarterback EJ Manuel had 194 yards and a Touchdown as Buffalo(3-3) swept the Dolphins(2-5).

With Ryan Tannehill out for the year, Mike McCarthy turned to Matt Moore once again.

Moore struggled against Buffalo's Defense throwing for 153 yards, 1 Touchdown, and a Interception. Moore was sacked 7 times with 4 of them alone by the "Heart and Soul of Buffalo" Kyle Williams.

The 9 year Veteran was all smiles afterwards.

"We were motivated. We feel like we have a lot to prove to ourselves and the rest of the league." Williams stated.

Miami(2-5) had 3 turnovers as the Dolphins struggled to move the Football.

"Terrible situation for us today. We couldn't get anything going." Dolphins Head Coach Mike McCarthy stated.

The Atlanta Falcons are off to a rough start in the "Dan Quinn ERA" with a 1-5 record in the NFC South.

To make matters worse, today they take on First Place Tampa Bay who is on a quest to try and host their own Super Bowl this year.

Super Bowl 50 is at Raymond James Stadium.

Last week the Buccaneers destroyed the Jacksonville Jaguars 41-7 as the Falcons lost in Detroit 35-7 to the Lions.

It's a tale of two sides today as Tampa Bay is rocking a 3 game winning streak and Atlanta is on a 3 game slide.

Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan(1,452 yards, 8 Touchdowns, 8 Interceptions) will try to lead his Offense who has been sputtering so far this year.

Goff makes first NFL Start. STEELERS crush RAMS 33-18 in #16's Debut...

                RECAP

St. Louis, MO- There may be a silver lining for the horrendous St. Louis Rams(0-7) 2015 campaign.

Despite having Franchise Quarterback Sam Bradford and backup Matt Simms on the I.R, the St. Louis Rams(0-7) have may of found their life support.

Rookie Quarterback Jared Goff who signed a 1 year/840k Deal with the Rams back in Week 4.

"I'm just happy to be here in the NFL. Happy to be on a Team that wants me." Goff said.

In his NFL Debut, Jared Goff struggled at first against the Steelers Defense. Pittsburgh(6-1) took a 20-7 halftime lead after Goff threw his first Career NFL Touchdown to WR Tavon Austin.

With the score, Head Coach Jeff Fisher awarded the Game ball to his new Quarterback afterwards.

"He really impressed us out there today against a very good Football Team like the Steelers. Showed grit and handled himself well for his first start." Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher stated.

Goff finished with 295 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a pick in his first start. The Steelers(6-1) jumped on the board early when Kicker Shaun Suisham kicked a 48 yarder and Running Back LeGarrette Blount crossed the goaline. Suisham kicked another Field Goal and Pittsburgh took a 13-0 lead.

Late in the Second Quarter Jared Goff's pass was intercepted by Steelers Lawrence Timmons who returned it all the way to the Rams 9 yard line. Ben Roethlisberger connected with WR CJ Miller for the 20-0 lead.

"Found CJ in the End Zone there. Great route by him to give us that lead." Roethlisberger stated.

To close out the First half Jared Goff found Tavon Austin for his first Touchdown pass in the NFL.

"Special moment for me honestly. First Touchdown pass. Cherish this one forever." Goff exclaimed.

St. Louis(0-7) crawled back in the Second half when Greg Zuerlien kicked a 37 yarder to bring the score 20-10.

But then it was all Pittsburgh(6-1). Le'Veon Bell scored and another Shaun Suisham Field Goal had the Steelers up 30-10.

                The final was 33-18.

The Arizona Cardinals are picking up where they left off last year. Rocking the best Defense in the league. New Defensive Coordinator Robert Saleh has really made an impact in the Desert his first year. The Cards are 5-0 with the #1 Defense in the league in Points Allowed and yards. Eli Manning(1,979 yards, 13 Touchdowns, 9 Interceptions, 82.6 Passer Rating) will look to pick apart the Cardinals Defense as New York is looking for their first Division Title since 2011 and return to the Playoffs.

GIANTS win 3rd straight after handing CARDINALS first loss of Season 31-21!

                    RECAP

East Rutherford, NJ- The New York Giants(5-2) are catching fire in Todd Bowles first year as Head Coach.

Eli Manning led the way for the G-Men with 264 yards and 3 Touchdowns with a Passer Rating of 102 as the Giants(5-2) knocked off the previously unbeaten Arizona Cardinals(5-1) inside MetLife Stadium.

Cardinals Quarterback Carson Palmer had 281 yards, 1 Touchdown, 1 pick, and a Rating of 101.7.

On Palmer's first pass of the game he was intercepted by Giants CB DRC. A few plays later and Eli Manning found Victor Cruz in the endzone for the 7-0 lead.

But New York would see first hand how good Arizona's Defense has been this year as they forced multiple 3 and outs for the Giants.

Steve Weatherford punted 3 times for the Giants and New York held a 14-13 halftime lead after Manning's second Touchdown pass to Odell Beckham, Jr.

"Arizona is a very tough Team. We knew we had to keep playing them hard and make adjustments." Giants Head Coach Todd Bowles stated.

In the Second Half New York(5-2) took a 21-13 lead off Running Back's Michael Cox's Touchdown.

But Arizona(5-1) stormed back to tie it at 21-21 heading into the 4th Quarter where the Giants pulled away for good.

"We didn't score at all in the 4th Quarter. Kind of shot ourselves in the foot there." Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians stated.

The Cards came close to scoring when Tight End George Kittle was stopped at the Giants 1 yard line on 4th and Goal.

New York Defense sacked Palmer 7 times.

Romo returns as COWBOYS hold off rival REDSKINS 41-35 in Nation's Capital...Washington drops 5th straight.

                        RECAP

Landover, MD- After going down with a injury in a Week 1 Loss to the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys Franchise Quarterback Tony Romo returned to help his Cowboys(4-3) knock off the Division Rival Washington Redskins(1-5) inside FedEx Field on Sunday Afternoon.

"Glad to have him back with us." Said Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett. "Tony is our leader and we rally behind him on the Football Field."

Dallas(4-3) continues to put pressure on NFC East leaders, the New York Giants who beat the Arizona Cardinals earlier this morning to stay ahead in the NFC East.

Romo had 383 yards with 2 Touchdowns as the Cowboys(4-3) held off their hated Rivals, the Redskins(1-5).

Dallas took a 21-0 lead in the First Quarter when Redskins Quarterback Colt McCoy threw 2 interceptions on Washington's first two Drives.

McCoy is filling in for the injured Kirk Cousins who is nursing a Groin Tear and is scheduled back this Thursday Night when the Skins head to Foxboro to meet the New England Patriots.

Down 21-0 the Redskins(1-5) finally found some rhythm when QB Colt McCoy found former Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris for a Touchdown to get the Skins on the board.

On Dallas next possession, a Ryan Kerrigan hit on Tony Romo who fumbled the ball and Redskins Linebacker Trent Murphy scooped it up and ran 40 yards for a Score to cut Dallas lead 21-14.

Two Dan Bailey's Field Goals and another McCoy Touchdown Pass and it was 27-21 Cowboys halftime lead.

On the opening Drive to start the Second Half, McCoy led Washington(1-5) down to take their first lead of the game when Pierre Garcon scored.

"It was a battle out there today. It sucks to be in a hole and on a slide like this but the guys today showed grit and determination." Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden stated.

After a Week 1 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Washington(1-5) has now lost 5 straight. Quarterback Robert Griffin III is on the IR again as Washington announced his demotion to the bench upon his return in Week 14. RG3's injuries over the past Season and a half is really putting too much pressure on the rest of the Team as the Redskins appear to be ready for a new direction.

Dallas racked up 543 yards of Offense as Washington had 402. Redskins Quarterback Colt McCoy did all he could to keep the Skins in the game throwing for 376 yards, 4 Touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.

McCoy fumbled on Washington's final possession to seal the Cowboys victory.

"Terrible feeling. To come back down 21 points and then get so close to fumble like that is a terrible feeling." McCoy stated.

Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray had 99 yards with a Touchdown as backup RB Lance Dunbar had 69 yards with a score of his own. Redskins RB Alfred Morris had just 43 yards.

Bortles Turnovers Dooms JAGUARS in 37-9 loss to SAINTS...

                          RECAP

New Orleans, LA- Blake Bortles continues to struggle as a NFL Quarterback as his 5 Turnovers was a major factor in the Jacksonville Jaguars(1-5) being blown out 37-9 against the New Orleans Saints(3-4) on Sunday Afternoon.

Bortles had 180 yards, 1 Touchdown, 2 Interceptions, and lost 4 Fumbles inside the Mercedes Benz SuperDome.

"By far his worst performance since he's been here." Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley stated. "It was tough to watch. We all love Blake but he needs to play better and he knows it."

Every fumble, New Orleans(3-4) turned into points as Saints Quarterback Drew Brees had a little field day against the Jags Secondary.

235 yards, 3 Touchdowns, and a Interception as Brees tries to get New Orleans back into the Playoff Picture.

"Great win for us to keep climbing out of this hole we put ourselves in. We got Carolina next." Saints Head Coach Sean Payton stated.

The Saints(3-4) got a first hand look at how good Jacksonville's Run Defense can be as RB Joique Bell was held to 36 yards and a Touchdown. Jags Storm Johnson only had 26 yards.

Neither Team ran the ball effectively.

"Stopped the run but couldn't hold Points off the board." Bradley added.

Bortles was sacked 6 times and Brees 4. With the loss, Jacksonville(1-5) has now lost 4 straight.

Manning tosses 5 more Interceptions, BRONCOS lose to CHARGERS 27-21...

                            RECAP

Denver, CO- Peyton Manning's struggles continues as the Denver Broncos(2-5) lost to the San Diego Chargers(4-3) on Sunday..

The writing on the wall? Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning tossed 5 picks as Denver loses again with the once great QB being a turnover machine.

It appears 2014 has transferred over to this Season.

"It's ugly honestly. We try to keep working through it but it's come down to how much more time can we spend waiting? We love Peyton but whatever this funk he's been in since last year isn't doing us any favors." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

Manning threw 41 Interceptions last year and the Broncos missed the Playoffs.

Denver(2-5) apparently has seen enough as Manning was benched at Halftime after throwing 5 picks.

Backup Brock Osweiler finished the game but didn't do much better throwing 2 picks of his own and losing a fumble.

Manning finished the day with 182 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and 5 picks. His first pass was intercepted by Chargers CB Tarell Brown to returned it for a Touchdown.

More picks followed. Brown had 3 picks, Eric Weddle had 3, and Corey Blake had 1.

"This was absolutely tough to watch from where I was at. We all love Peyton but his struggles recently isn't doing this Football Team any favors." Broncos GM and President John Elway stated.

Wade Phillips Defense did their best to keep the Broncos in the game as Von Miller led with 4 sacks as the Chargers(4-3) were held to constant 3 and outs in the first half.

The Chargers punted 8 times but each time Denver failed to do much with Manning's struggles.

"We did pretty good in the first half but as the Game went on we found ourselves on the field constantly. That's how you lose games." Broncos Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips stated.

Chargers Quarterback Phillip Rivers had 243 yards and a Touchdown.

DENVER BRONCOS: Announce benching of Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler named Starter moving forward..

Moments after the Denver Broncos suffered a 27-21 loss to the Division Rival San Diego Chargers on Sunday, Head Coach John Fox has shocked the NFL World by announcing he was benching the future Hall of Famer Quarterback Peyton Manning.

"Brock Osweiler is our Quarterback moving forward. We love Peyton but with his recent struggles from last Season and how poorly he's been performing this season we feel it's best for our Football Team to bench him. Brock is our Quarterback for the remainder of the season." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

It appears the Peyton Manning ERA is over in Denver.

Manning has 1,784 yards with 7 Touchdowns and 15 Interceptions this year with the Broncos sitting in Third Place with a 2-5 Record.

Last year Manning had 41 picks as Denver missed the Playoffs with a 4-11-1 Record.

It's being reported that Manning has been moved to #4 QB on the Depth Chart behind new Starting Quarterback Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian, and Zac Dysert.

Osweiler will start in the Broncos Week 9 Game against the Chicago Bears.

"It's a blow to be in this situation but I do agree with it and I don't at the same time. I'll help Brock prepare the best way I can." Manning stated.

Denver is on a Week 8 BYE.
