      -----------------------------------------------
      WVU (5-5, 3-4) | 3 | 7 | 3 | 7 || 20
      #4 USF (9-1, 6-0) | 3 | 7 | 21 | 14 || 45
      -----------------------------------------------
      USF Extends Winning Streak to Six With Win Over West Virginia
      Howard Harris had rushed for over 130 yards, more than USF's total offense and the Mountaineers had the ball in the red zone already up by seven with less than two minutes to go in the first half. They appeared to be on their way to not only score but perhaps end the Bulls 22-game winning streak at home on Senior Day.

      The Mountaineers ongoing drive stalled, leading to a missed field goal and Troy Henry would score on his three straight touches as the Bulls finished the game on a 42-10 run to extend their home winning streak behind the 45-20 win over West Virginia.

      Henry added 220 yards rushing and five touchdowns to his Heisman campaign including the 24-yard thumper right through the Mountaineers skull to end the game. Henry now needs 164 yards to break the 2,000 yard mark and three touchdowns to enter the 30-touchdown club. He needs ten more touchdown to break Barry Sanders' record which seems less and less unlikely given Henry's recent form.

      He'll have at least three games to do it and possibly a Big 12 Championship as well. Even with a bulky brace on his injured elbow, Henry was unstoppable.

          Eight ranked kicker Craig Tyree commits to Stanford; Bulls move forward with Alabama-based kicker
          Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider

          Three-star kicker Craig Tyree out of Fort Stockton, Texas has committed to the Stanford, choosing Palo Alto over Tampa.

          The Bulls had been on the trail for Tyree for most of the cycle but ultimately struck out. The late commitment puts the Bulls in an interesting position with not a ton of options. They did offer kicker Kevin Justice out of Cahaba Heights, Alabama, one of the few unsigned kickers left in this cycle.

          The verdict on Justice likely won't be out before beginning of the recruiting dead period which could be the case for four-star cornerbacks Sid Robinson and Corey Johnson. Clemson appears to have moved on from Robinson as the cornerback did not mention them in a recent IG live when discussing his top schools. For Johnson, it's still a three-way battle between the Bulls, Vanderbilt and Indiana.

          Rising senior WR Steve Townsend got another offer with Iowa and Kansas State joining the picture last week just days after he received an offer from USF.

              Williams' Heisman Campaign Hits Wall as Bulls Clinch South Division
              When USF joined the Big 12, it brought with it one of the biggest media markets in the country, a bit of its south Florida flare and defense to the Big 12.

              It'll be carrying all that and some with it to yet another Big 12 Championship Game as the Bulls clinched the South division with their 14-7 win over Texas on Saturday.

              The rainy Texas afternoon was the perfect backdrop for the defensive minded, run first Bulls to slow down one of the nation's top offenses. Doug Williams got off to a fast start, amassing over 120 yards of total offense by himself in the first quarter but a missed field goal left them with zero points.

              The Longhorns were the first to score a touchdown and for a while were the only ones as the Bulls could only muster up field goals. James Pittman, a Texas native, broke the game open however with a 32-yard run on third and two. A few players later, he kept it himself on the option to take the 14-7 lead with 5:02 left in the game.

              The Bulls defense did the rest of the heavy lifting, forcing a fumble in its own red zone and then intercepting Williams on the next two drives to end the game.

                    Central Florida Knights Upset South Florida Bulls in The War on I-4
                    It wasn't that long ago that the UCF Knights were the big brother in The War on I-4. Since Malcolm Francois took over, however, it's become less of a battle and more of a sparring session as the USF Bulls have become a college football powerhouse.

                    It was only fitting that a Malcolm Francois Jr. fumble would lead to the Knights 26-21 upset of the No. 2 ranked Bulls on Friday night.

                    Francois Jr. fumbled a punt return in the fourth quarter which led to a UCF field goal to extend their lead to six with 7:35 left in the game. On the ensuing possession, Heisman favorite Troy Henry fumbled the football, USF's fourth turnover of the game.

                    The fumble led to a touchdown and a 26-14 lead for the Knights with six minutes left in the game.

                    Henry would score on a screen pass to make it a five point game but the Golden Knights ran their four minute offense to perfection, killing the rest of the clock.

                        Carpenter Commits to UCF as Johnson, Robinson Confirm Commitment Date
                        Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider

                        Three-star offensive lineman Victor Carpenter out of Jacksonville has committed to the UCF Golden Knights over the USF Bulls.

                        According to reports, Carpenter was advised by the USF staff to consider his options when he attempted to commit to the Bulls back in October. This led to Carpenter setting up an official visit to Orlando this past weekend where he was in attendance for UCF's upset over USF.

                        USF got some better news that cornerbacks Sid Robinson and Corey Johnson won't be committing until National Signing Day after releasing a top two Pitt and USF for Robinson and Indiana and the Bulls for Johnson. With a full two months and change, USF's coaching staff will be able to put together one of it's patented 11th-hour pushes to get the deal done with head coach Malcolm Francois likely being more involved in the process once the season is in the rearview mirror.

                            Henry Injured, McFarland Benched as Bulls Win Big 12 Championship vs. Kansas State
                            It wasn't the most impressive performance but after getting upset by bitter rival UCF, Malcolm Francois will take it.

                            Ricky Turner nailed five field goals -- three from over 50 yards -- as the Bulls defense dominated the Kansas State Wildcats en route to a 15-3 victory.

                            Heisman candidate Troy Henry left the game in the very first quarter with an apparent chest injury and did not return. Two interceptions later, USF quarterback Mike McFarland was benched for James Pittman.

                            With a new looking backfield, the Bulls offense only managed to put up 281 yards of total offense. It was still more than what Kansas State was able to accomplish as they converted just one third down the entire game.
