I understand wanting to limit the players to 2 for the CF HoF but man those career stats are pretty damn good so having 4 this year isn't bad by any means lol. Love the background you have for those too, the gold looks like I could reach out and touch it.

Poor Purdue, I doubt we will see them back any time soon, and 100% Fresno has their work cut out for them! Look forward to the next post as usual!

Thanks for the follow. Always interested to see how teams do especially with Tulane and Fresno really backdooring their way into a Power 5 conference.

Thanks for the prospect as well! Ran him through the generator and he was awarded an 81 overall!

The only qualifying QB Grad Transfer this year was Justin Clement (92 overall) out of Ohio State. I liked how the created JUCO prospect worked so I am recreating him there. He was from CA if that affects anything.

I also came to realize that two of the four transfers last year are not even starting. Matt Corrall (96 overall) is the back-up for Oregon (1st string is a 98) and Kedon Slovis at Ole Miss (92 overall) is also not starting (1st string is a 99). So, sucks but fairly realistic. Dakereon Joyner (93 - Oklahoma) and Cord Sandberg (92- Florida State) are both starting, however.

Looks like a promising year. Can't really ever tell with Preseason Rankings and these conferences. Really don't feel like Purdue and Maryland will keep pace but who knows.

A very fun and challenging road ahead for UNM. We have some big-time matchups and a very good team this year (90 overall). Of course, the goal is to get into the BIG 12.

Really surprised to see Maryland (84 overall) beat an A-grade Virginia Tech in the opener. No other real 'surprises' Week One but that's more because it is so hard to tell who the teams to beat are this early outside of Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Alabama. All I know is Tulane's opening schedule to Power 5 life includes six out of seven Top 15 teams lol.

A relatively solid opener. Nealy was near perfect. We have an excellent receiving corps- I really underestimated their YAC ability. Was not pleased with our run game. Adams only finished with 129 due to a late 60 yard touchdown. Defense was solid for the most part but not many sacks or takeaways. The final score was on our second string so truly 1st team gave up 10 which is not bad for a 86 overall P5 team. Onto Temple. 1-0!

Great win against SMU. You're building quite the program with your Lobos. Hopefully my Lobos will find a similar path.

Really interested to see how the Lobos fare as an independent this year, especially against that schedule - Nealy and Adams should keep you in those games against the premier programs.

I hope so. Wilson has all the attributes but he's never shown much more signs of being anything higher than a #2. Jon Flynn, however, might be the star in waiting.

In fairness, I haven't applied any restrictions for recruiting since I was more focused on the alignment playout. Appreciate the compliment though!

Two proven winners for sure. We will have a chance but definitely haven't seen the likes of several teams here.

Had the typical early season Top 10 losses. Notre Dame lost their great QB to the NFL Draft but they're still a 99. Losing to ISU is not a good sign, though. Funny to see Ole Miss lose to Florida. As they have both been the two teams throwing off the system by being 3-loss Top 5 teams come CFP time

Lucky to win this one. Temple was surprisingly good on both sides. Their QB was a great scrambler- he was good at quickly tucking and hitting seams. Nealy started great but just began being really inaccurate. Luckily, the run game picked up and Adams saved the day with a McCaffrey-like day of 100+ rushing and receiving. A good win but have to be better going into Washington

Multiple Top 10 teams fall: Washington (to us), Oregon in a blowout, and Texas FINALLY gets past Oklahoma. LOL at Tulane beating Ole Miss again. Really interested to see if Michigan wins their revenge game against ND who knocked them out of the 2022 CFP.

A VERY odd game this was. Washington's new HC was national champion Purdue's OC the year prior. He came out in about 50 different formations included 40% flexbone. My 4-2-5 works very well against this as I can just throw safety off the edge and stack the box. Washington had an excellent QB and RB and would destroy me with a Baylor-type spread run scheme. But would switch to flexbone and stall out. They outdid me in every category except finishing drives.

Their defense was hit and miss too. Nealy was on point and did great extending plays and being accurate. Adams was slowed but still effective. An A- performance by the offense.

The big swing of the game not captured above was an option fumble on Washington's 2-yard line when the score was 27-14 in the 3Q. It would've put them within a score but instead ended with a FG for us.

If Washington would've ran their Baylor-type offense the entire game and scrapped the flexbone option, they definitely could've won. Not my problem lol. 3-0!

It is a tad worrisome though because our defense was not great outside of it. Not sure how we will fare against the likes of Texas, Auburn, and Alabama. And yep, Adams and Nealy alternate standout performances. Gotta bit of a Leinhart/Bush USC feel lol

I was kind of hyped to have USC back in the Top 10 but Cal sure took care of that lol. Also, tough scene for Oklahoma losing two in a row. Really hope Texas stays undefeated going into our matchup.

Minnesota was a tough game. Their defense was not letting Adams run at all. He finally got some yards late when we were milking the clock. Nealy played well but had a costly turnover. Jon Flynn at WR was the real gamebreaker- just making tough catches and big plays. Defensively, we would get pushed around but found ways to get sacks- the most important one coming as said above with the game getting sealed. A win is a win. 4-0!
