Game-winning pick six in the closing seconds? Sounds like a really exciting game, glad the Lobos could come out on top and move to 7-2! How's recruiting looking like?

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Penn State has struggled heavily since The Great Realignment. Been very average. If they keep getting top recruits like this, it will be interesting to see. B10 has been THE conference so farComment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Recruiting is going well. Not going to have the bonkers class I did last year (which I’m chalking up to accepting players with character issues lol). But I realized I have tons of skill players coming down the line so I focused heavy on getting some good linemen. Still struggled and think I will end up with three (67, 67, 63). Will have some good athletes again which I’m not sure where I will place. I am expecting a Top 25 class but I can’t tell bc I focus more on overall, speed, and certain measures instead of their stars. Thanks for asking!Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Was keeping track of the Oregon State game at the bottom on the ticker and it was such a back-and-forth affair. Really cool to see them pull it off. Really invested also into seeing if Tate Martell can upset Oklahoma.
Sheesh. Another high-impact game. Everything was not going my way early and the score showed (21-0). The run game did not start working until the 3Q and our defense finally started coming around the second half. Their QB just did not miss. We would kill drives just by blitzing the house and forcing them into 3rd and long. But, overall, another overtime win going our way when we definitely had multiple chances to lose late. Can't beat it. 9-2!Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Texas A&M failed to deliver and beat #1 Oklahoma. The bigger news is that Tennessee upset Alabama out of nowhere. The Vols are having a really good season with their new coach who was hired from UNLV the year before. Must be a hell of a coach. Perhaps, the biggest game in this week is Florida vs Florida State. Somehow, yet again, the 3-loss Gators are somehow in the Top 8 lol.

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Not much happening this week. Ohio State almost pulled off a season crushing upset over Michigan but to no avail. The Conference Championships will be crucial. PREVIEW UPCOMING!
An excellent way to end the regular season. Thought it was our defense's best performance yet. Wyoming QB Sean Chambers had 2000 passing and 800 rushing coming in so I knew it would be a HUGE challenge. I used both my freshman LB's to spy and they delivered. Also, forced two interceptions in the redzone. The bend don't break mentality is our defense's motto haha. We will not be in the Conference Championship since Tulsa is in our division. Right now, we are projected to play #13 Cincinnati in the GoDaddy.com Bowl.Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
Games that matter:
#5 Florida vs #7 Alabama
Once again, those damn Gators start 1-3 and then go on a rampage only to end up confusing the rankings. Alabama was probably the most impressive team all-around all year with blowout wins over everyone. Their one loss came to a Top 15 Tennessee team. Florida would be a LONG shot to get in the CFP but if Bama wins- they're in.
#3 Michigan vs Louisville
After a three-game skid mid-season (which included a loss to Michigan) the defending champ Cardinals are back in the Conference Title game. Though they have no chance of getting in the CFP, they could ruin Michigan's spot with a win. Michigan's only loss was to a red-hot Iowa State mid-season.
#4 Oregon State vs #8 Arizona State
It would be hard pressed to leave Oregon State out if they beat another Top 10 team. Their only loss was an overtime shootout in the opener against #3 Michigan. They are led by Heisman candidate RB Jermar Jefferson. Arizona State has been a Top 15 all-year and might sneak in the CFP if everything plays out right.
Other games to note are a rare double ranked G5 matchup in the MAC with Cincinnati and Purdue. Also, Montana State has a chance to be the first expansion team to win a conference title.
If Oklahoma, Alabama, Michigan, and Oregon State (with Boston College already assumed in), it will be hell picking the CFP Top Four.Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
And I am liking that every year there is always one or two dark horse contenders. Oregon State's championship contender outlook is something like 79, 85, 90 the next three years so this definitely a generational team for them. For Boston College to make the playoff both as a G5 and Independent and the only team to make it back-to-back is really unexpected but fun to watchComment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
1. Oklahoma (13-0)
The Sooners are the unprecedented #1 team in college football. After a disappointing end to 2020, the Sooners answered the call. Led by 1st-Team All-American QB Spencer Rattler, they have two Top 15 wins and the #1 offense and defense in the country.
2. Oregon State (12-1)
The only team hotter than Oklahoma is the Beavers of Oregon State having a generational season. After losing their opener 52-49 in overtime to Michigan, they have won 12 straight including a walk-off win versus Washington and two wins over #11 Arizona State. In the conference championship, RB Jermar Jefferson went for 100 / 100 rushing / receiving to steal the Heisman at the last moment.
3. Boston College (11-1)
After getting promoted to Independent, Boston College kept pace with their high-level of play. Led by back-to-back Heisman runner-up RB David Bailey, the only slip up they had was a late loss to NC State who was undefeated at the time (lost every game since). They hold big wins over Missouri and Clemson.
4. Alabama (12-1)
No other team had beaten six different ranked foes in the treacherous SEC. All were done in blowout fashion led by QB Mac Jones, RB Trey Sanders, and WR Jaylen Waddle. Their only loss was to a red hot Tennessee after a long stretch. Past that 13-10 fall, they have been the most impressive team in football.
5. Washington (11-1)
Despite only having one loss, the Huskies did not win the one that counted when Oregon State beat them on a walk-off field goal. Due to the divisions, they did not have a rematch opportunity. There is no argument for them to be in the CFP.
6. Mississippi State (9-3)
Going 9-3 in the SEC in 2021 is about as good as you can ask. They hold several big wins such as Florida but three losses this year is a mark that you cannot get in.
7. Michigan (11-2)
With five probable candidates going into the Conference Championships, it was the Wolverines who faltered. Louisville pulled off one more stunt despite their disappointing season- upsetting Michigan to knock them out of the playoffs. This was after Michigan nearly ran the table of an incredibly tough BIG10.
8. Tennessee (9-3)
Last off-season, the Vols hired Tony Sanchez who had led UNLV to their best season in school history- now he has instantly made Tennessee a Top 10 team. All three losses were to top-tier programs and close. Of course, the defining moment for them was their 13-10 upset of Alabama. They cannot get in the CFP but that's besides the point.
9. Missouri (8-4)
Missouri silently climbed the rankings after beginning losing four of five- including two to #1 Oklahoma and #3 Boston College. No way they get into the playoffs but cool to see them have turned the ship around and be where they are now.
10. Cincinnati (12-1)
Though Cincy has positioned themselves for a definite promotion to Independent, they hold no wins that make them a contender for the CFP. Their biggest game was against Baylor in which they lost in OT. A great year but not a playoff team.Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
I also posted this in the NCAA Football category, but in my attempt to redownload BruteForce Save Data to do the modding- I got a failed download message saying I am missing a file for this program.
Any help? Any other routes for a PS3?Comment

Re: The Great Realignment (NCAA 14)
I got it figured out.
Just for time sake, the slots are open again for everyone to make a prospect for this dynasty:
Name:
Position: (can be any)
HT/WT:
Appearance: (doesn’t have to be detailed)
Type of Player: (ex: slot receiver)
Home State:
For your overall, I’m going to do a random number generator between 90 and 70 overall with the odds of getting higher/lower than 80 drastically dropping every point. Meaning the odds of getting a 90 overall (as a freshman) will be like 1/1000, 85 like 1/100, 80 like 1/10.Comment
