I think it's going to be pretty tough to leave Syracuse until Hendrix graduates.. I don't care what the job offer is.. That or you are going to be playing with 3 teams Maybe Semonza gets offered the OC job with the new Syracuse Coach at least until Hendrix graduates, then figure out a way to get him to rejoin Coach Savage or maybe he get his start as the OC and makes his way back to Ball State as the HC..

I thought about it, but playing with three teams seems too labor intensive. My plan was for Kadin to be the OC either when I moved teams or once Reese got a HC gig, whichever came first. Then hopefully end up back at Ball State as the HC to stop the coaching carousel.
Realistically it will only be an extra two seasons cause with Hendrix having an elite dev trait I don't see how he wouldn't declare after his JR year if he keeps at this pace. The SEC can wait a few seasons is my mindset now, but we'll see when(if) the offers come in.

Orange Power Through Snow & Cavaliers

Syracuse's defense carried little for the snow, wreaking havoc on the Virginia offense with 5 sacks, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.

LEFT - Tyree Kight continues to live up to the big shoes his predecessors left, each wiinning the Thrope, with another key interception in a stellar season.
CENTER - The snow cooled off Cuse QB Immanuel Hendrix, who threw more INTs than touchdowns for the first time in his young career.
RIGHT - The Orange relied heavily on their rushing attack, rumbling for nearly 300 rushing yards in the contest.

Charleston, VA. - The second-ranked Syracuse Orange (9-0) continued their dominant season with a suffocating 41-10 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers (5-4) on a snow-covered field in Charlottesville. Syracuse’s relentless defense and punishing ground game overwhelmed Virginia, holding the Cavaliers to just 113 total yards while the Orange offense racked up 299 rushing yards.

Syracuse set the tone early, striking on their opening possession with a 45-yard field goal from Desmond Brewer. The Orange quickly extended their lead behind workhorse running back JC Hoag, who capped consecutive drives with touchdown runs of 7 and 10 yards. Virginia managed to get on the board late in the first quarter with a 45-yard field goal from Robert Stark, but it was clear the Cavaliers were in for a long night.

The Orange continued their dominance in the second quarter, with freshman quarterback Immanuel Hendrix finding Dalton Wear for a 28-yard touchdown. Tyrell Sands added a 3-yard rushing score, giving Syracuse a commanding 31-3 halftime lead. Hendrix, coming off a career performance last week, struggled with Virginia’s secondary, finishing 11-of-19 for 182 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. However, Syracuse’s running game ensured the offense never lost momentum.

Virginia never found its footing, as the Syracuse defense made life miserable for quarterback Kamryn Dunsmore, sacking him five times and intercepting two of his passes. The Cavaliers managed just 11 rushing yards all game, unable to escape the Orange’s relentless front seven.

Brewer tacked on a 29-yard field goal in the third quarter before Lee Browner punched in a 1-yard score in the fourth. Virginia finally reached the end zone on a 28-yard run from Damon Dubose, but by then, the outcome had long been decided.

Syracuse’s ground attack powered the offense, with Hoag rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns, while Browner contributed 100 yards in relief.

Meanwhile, Ball State continued its impressive Big 12 debut, dismantling Kansas 49-13 to set up a pivotal showdown with #6 Arkansas for the Big 12 North title.

Syracuse will remain in Virginia next week to face Virginia Tech before returning home for senior night and a potential ACC Atlantic division-deciding battle against Miami.

              Syracuse Outlasts Hokies Late Surge

Hendrix's ascension may be the talk of the nation, but don't forget the 'Cuse Crushers' are still wrecking offensive game plans. The unit collected eight sacks and another INT in the snowy contest.

LEFT - Interceptions have been a problem for Hendrix in the snowy conditions of late, with the FR QB tossing another pair including this ugly 4th Q INT to set up VTech's late score.
CENTER - Hendrix still flashed the arm talent in the snow, dropping a perfect pass in the bucket as he connected with Ware on a 68 yard TD to close out the 1st half.
RIGHT - Carter Marks had a huge return to open the game that was quandered by the Hokies offense, so the freshman decided to take matters into his own hands late in the 4th with an explosive 92 yard return.

Blacksburg, VA. - The top-ranked Syracuse Orange (10-0) continued their unbeaten season with a hard-fought 34-22 victory over Virginia Tech (6-4) in Blacksburg, overcoming early red zone struggles and a late Hokies rally to secure the win.

Syracuse struck first as freshman quarterback Immanuel Hendrix found Tyrell Sands on a 25-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. However, the Orange left points on the field in the opening half, committing two red zone turnovers—a fumble by JC Hoag and an interception thrown by Hendrix. Virginia Tech capitalized on one of these miscues, turning a missed Syracuse field goal into a 29-yard touchdown pass from DeMarcus Hart to George Fehoko. Despite these setbacks, Hendrix connected with Dalton Wear for a 68-yard bomb just before halftime, giving Syracuse a 17-7 lead at the break.

Syracuse extended its lead in the third quarter with a 33-yard field goal from Desmond Brewer, but the Hokies refused to go quietly. Hendrix’s 61-yard strike to tight end Danny Pace early in the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 28-7, but Virginia Tech responded with a furious rally. Carter Marks electrified the home crowd with a 92-yard kickoff return touchdown, and after an interception off Hendrix, Hart found Eric Addington for a 47-yard score, quickly cutting the once 21-point lead to just 28-22.

With the game in the balance and coming off a turnover, head coach Nash Savage kept his faith in Hendrix. The freshman delivered, hitting Carlos Simms and Sands for gains of 23 yards each before handing off to Hoag for a four-yard touchdown run to ice the game. Syracuse’s defense, known as the ‘Cuse Crushers,’ dominated in the trenches, tallying eight sacks and an interception to keep the Hokies at bay.

The win, combined with Miami’s victory over Virginia, sets up a colossal #1 vs. #2 showdown next week at the JMA Dome, with the ACC Atlantic Division title and a spot in the conference championship on the line.

Elsewhere, Ball State’s Cinderella run in the Big 12 hit a roadblock as the Cardinals fell 42-35 to Arkansas. Senior quarterback Titus Awe threw five interceptions, including a game-sealing pick on the potential tying drive. Despite the loss, Ball State remains in the playoff hunt, sitting at #6 in the CFP rankings, but will need a victory over Iowa State next week while hoping for a Missouri upset over Arkansas to keep their conference championship hopes alive.

"The U" Can't Keep Up As Cuse Clinches Spot In Conference Championship

It took exactly one play for the Cuse Crushers to re-introduce themselves to Miami QB Jamar Mevis in what would be another 7 sack day for the defense.

LEFT - Immanuel Hendrix with the mic drop after his 1 yard plunge gave the Orange the lead for good at 21-14.
CENTER - There's a reason HC Nash Savage tried to recruit now Mimai WR AJ Yeast two years ago, game breaking speed. Yeast showed off his dazzling speed on a 92 yard catch and run late in the 2nd Q.
RIGHT - JC Hoag was in and out of the game in the 1st half, but once the JR HB was ruled out for good in the 3rd Q, HC Nash Savage turned to RS FR Lee Browner to carry them home.

Syracuse, NY. - #1 Syracuse secured the ACC Atlantic Division title and remained undefeated with a 34-21 victory over #2 Miami in a high-stakes showdown at the JMA Dome. Despite a sluggish first half and the loss of star running back JC Hoag to a broken wrist, the Orange leaned on their depth and a dominant performance in the trenches to outlast the Hurricanes.

Syracuse opened the scoring with a 28-yard touchdown run from Tyrell Sands in the first quarter, but Miami responded in the second with a one-yard touchdown plunge by Gabe Rogers. The two teams traded blows throughout the quarter, as Immanuel Hendrix connected with Dalton Wear for a 16-yard touchdown before Miami struck back with a stunning 92-yard bomb from Jamar Mevis to AJ Yeast, a former Syracuse recruiting target. Hendrix capped off the first half with a three-yard touchdown run to send the Orange into the locker room with a 21-14 lead.

After halftime, Syracuse took control in the trenches. Desmond Brewer drilled a 49-yard field goal to extend the lead, and Hendrix later found Felix Redwine for a 29-yard touchdown pass to push the Orange ahead 31-14. Meanwhile, the Syracuse defense continued to harass Miami’s offense, racking up four first-half sacks and adding three more in the second half. Miami managed to cut the deficit in the fourth quarter with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Mevis to Jason Dombrowski, but it would be their last trip into the end zone on the afternoon.

The victory came at a cost, as Hoag—who briefly returned in the third quarter—left the game for good after suffering a broken wrist. The nation’s leading rusher is expected to miss at least three weeks, meaning Syracuse will be without him for the ACC Championship Game against Georgia Tech. In his absence, redshirt freshman Lee Browner took over and delivered, rushing for 127 yards in the second half to help Syracuse control the clock and close out the win.

With the victory, Syracuse moves to 12-0 and will face Georgia Tech in two weeks for the ACC title. The Yellow Jackets secured their spot in the championship game despite a loss to non-conference rival Georgia, but they will look to avenge a 42-17 defeat against Syracuse from earlier in the season.

Elsewhere, Ball State closed out its season in dominant fashion with a 66-17 rout of Iowa State but fell short of a Big 12 title game berth. Arkansas secured the Big 12 North with a 38-20 win over Missouri, setting up a championship clash with #6 Houston.

The Curse of the Week 13/14 RB injury has struck again.. Between losing, Logan, Boyce, Cantwell and Grubbs it's hit me 4 times. So i know your pain..

But congrats on beating the Canes... Loving watching them lose as much as I do Oregon.

I feel like with how much I've whopped the Canes in this dynasty (now 4-0) I need to take the Florida drop just to keep sticking it to em.

Hoag was in and out last CFPs with a lingering injury as well. Cortez Duval got hurt for Ball State the 1st year without Savage. And then back in my USC days Seth Harris got knocked out before the CCG and I got mollywhopped by Georgia, so it's not unsual. So long as Hendrix doesn't go down I'll be happy. Really liked being able to get Browner in the game, he's fast and shifty so I really think he'll take over for Hoag nicely. Unfortunately the injury means the only chance Hoag has of catching Barry is returning for his senior season, which is unlikely since he's currently a 92 OVR. he's 800 yards and some change behind, so if he'd had another 100+ game against Miami, then the CCG/QF/SF/Natty it was within reach.

LEFT - It took one play for former 5* recruit Lee Browner to make an impact, splitting the Yellow Jackets defense for a 69 yard run on his first carry en route to a 232 yards and 3 TDs.
CENTER - Georgia Tech was without senior Sean Gibbs the first time these two teams met and while the senior kept the Yellow Jackets offense moving, lack of execution in the red zone ultimately cost them.
RIGHT - Dalton Wear same Browner's quick score and decided to match it with his own 66 yard scamper, zig zagging his way around defenders until he won the foot race.

Charlotte, NC. - The top-ranked Syracuse Orange (13-0) continued their undefeated season with a dominant 38-12 victory over Georgia Tech (8-5) in the 2030 ACC Championship Game at Bank of America Stadium. With star running back JC Hoag sidelined due to injury, redshirt freshman Lee Browner stole the show, rushing for 232 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries to power the Orange to their second straight conference title.

Browner wasted no time making his presence felt, taking his first carry of the game 69 yards to the house to give Syracuse an early 7-0 lead. Georgia Tech responded with a 44-yard field goal from Jay Baron, but the Orange quickly struck again as Immanuel Hendrix connected with Dalton Wear on a 66-yard touchdown pass to push the lead to 14-3 at the end of the first quarter.

Syracuse extended their advantage in the second quarter behind a 27-yard field goal from Desmond Brewer and a two-yard touchdown run by Browner, making it 24-6 with just under two minutes left in the half. Georgia Tech looked to respond with a deep shot, but Syracuse defensive back Deron Wusu came up with a key interception. With time winding down, Hendrix capitalized on the extra possession, finding tight end Danny Pace on a wheel route for a 51-yard touchdown, sending Syracuse into halftime with a commanding 31-6 lead.

The Yellow Jackets continued to struggle in the red zone, settling for two more field goals from Baron in the third quarter instead of finding the end zone. Georgia Tech made five trips inside the Syracuse 20-yard line but managed just 12 total points, with their final red-zone opportunity ending in a fourth-down interception.

Syracuse sealed the game in the fourth quarter with Browner’s third touchdown of the night, a six-yard run that capped off an impressive performance in his first career start. While Hendrix only attempted 10 passes in the game, he made them count, completing 8-of-10 for 209 yards and two touchdowns, including his long strikes to Wear and Pace.

The Orange defense played a crucial role in the victory, tallying three sacks and two interceptions while consistently pressuring Georgia Tech quarterback Sean Gibbs, who had missed the regular-season matchup between these two teams and was hoping to make a difference in the rematch.

“Our defense stepped up big when we needed them to,” said Syracuse head coach Nash Savage. “If they score touchdowns instead of kicking field goals, this game is entirely different.”

With the win, Syracuse secures a first-round bye in the upcoming College Football Playoff and now awaits the selection committee’s decision on their next opponent as they continue their pursuit of a national championship.

Missed a lot in here again... congrats on your first natty with Cuse and the incredible start to this season! Immanuel Hendrix is an elite name with an elite game, and I agree with Deuce that it's going to be basically impossible to look for another job while he's around. Good to see Ball State thriving in the Big 12 despite the lack of coaching stability since Savage's departure.

Gotta love it when a injury opens up the opportunity for someone to.come off the bench and have a monster game.

Looks like your got QB and RB covered for awhile

                              Congrats on another ACC title.

Dominating W for the ACC crown. Like Deuce said, I don't think you have to worry much about your backfield with Browner on deck.

It's always a great feeling when you control the game so much that your QB only needs to throw 8 passes and mixed in two touchdowns in that number.

Interested to see your side of the bracket in the CFP.
