Re: From The Shadows | The Rise Of "Nitro" Nash Savage (CFB25)
Yeah I'm not sure what happened with them. Even Georgia State, who only put up 7 points, still had nearly 300 yards of offense. And Clemson had 331 passing yards. Michigan never even attempted a deep pass outside of 3rd and a mile. I'm likely going to change sliders, I've been on Heisman for a while and it hasn't seemed to catch up outside of robo QB, Clemson's QB is a 78 OVR but only had 3 incompletions whereas Michigans QB is a 87 and barely hit 50%...I'm hesitant to tweak these ones anymore and end up with nearly perfect passing from the cpu so I'm going to search for some new ones to break in during SEC play. Will simulate the realism of the challenge while adjusting to the new sliders I think so we'll see how it goesComment

LEFT - Mario Winbush jumping the RPO swing route and nearly taking the INT to the house. The great return would set up Jon Amerson's 18 yard touchdown and a 35-7 Georgia lead.
CENTER - Stephen Sharga WAS the Longhorns offense, with 396 of their 431 total yards, but a late turnover and failed 4th down conversion kept the Longhorns from storming back in the 2nd half.
RIGHT - Hayden Calloway collecting the fumble that would end the final offensive possession for the Longhorns.
Austin, TX. - Georgia opened SEC play with a strong 42-21 victory over No. 24 Texas in Austin, though the game was more competitive than the final score indicated. The Bulldogs jumped out to a commanding 35-14 halftime lead, fueled by three first-half touchdown passes from Titus Tobin and a dominant rushing attack led by Daniel Velasco. However, Texas fought back, narrowing the gap with a pair of long touchdown passes from Stephen Sharga before Georgia’s defense slammed the door in the fourth quarter.
The Bulldogs set the tone early with a methodical opening drive that ended with a 45-yard touchdown strike from Tobin to Lonnie Banks. Texas answered quickly, as Sharga capped off a strong drive with a 9-yard rushing touchdown to tie the game. Georgia wasted little time regaining control, with Velasco breaking loose for a 46-yard score to put the Bulldogs back in front. The second quarter was all Georgia, with Tobin tossing two more touchdowns—an 18-yarder to Melvin Miles and an 18-yard strike to Jon Amerson—while Velasco added a 5-yard touchdown run. Texas managed to gain some momentum before halftime, as Sharga connected with Emanuel Hasty for a 42-yard score, cutting the deficit to 35-14 at the break.
Texas carried that momentum into the third quarter, as Sharga found Lucas Saldiveri for a 52-yard touchdown to bring the Longhorns within two scores. Georgia continued to move the ball effectively, but a missed field goal and a Tobin interception in the fourth quarter kept Texas within striking distance. The Longhorns had a chance to make it a one-score game, but their drive stalled deep in Georgia territory when defensive end Robert Momah sacked Sharga on fourth-and-7 from the UGA 20.
Following the defensive stand, Georgia finally put the game away with a quick-strike drive. Tobin hit Miles for a 20-yard gain, found Banks for 44 yards down the seam, and then connected with Miles again for a 7-yard touchdown to put the game out of reach.
Sharga was the heart of the Texas offense, accounting for 396 of the Longhorns’ 431 total yards, throwing for 300 and rushing for 96. But despite his best efforts, two turnovers—including a late fumble forced by linebacker Ronnie Fritz and recovered by Hayden Calloway—kept Texas from mounting a serious comeback.
Georgia’s ground game was once again dominant, with Velasco rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns, while Tobin added 73 rushing yards to go along with his 249 passing yards and four touchdown throws.
Elsewhere, Ball State continued its unbeaten run with a thrilling 51-48 overtime victory over Notre Dame. First-year head coach Kadin Semonza, who never defeated the Irish as a player, watched his team blow a 28-10 halftime lead before pulling off a dramatic win in extra time. After Notre Dame settled for a field goal in overtime, senior quarterback Taylor Beckner wasted no time, finding tight end Spencer McElmurry for a 25-yard walk-off touchdown—his fifth score of the game—to lift the Cardinals to a stunning victory.
Now 4-0, Georgia returns home to Sanford Stadium next week for a showdown against rival Ole Miss.

Well at least Texas scored.... Big win by Ball State.. Has to feel good beating the Irish.. Will be nice for the Cardinals to get to play them and Indiana more often and hopefully start winning those instate recruits.
Your Georgia Injury report is starting to look like mine at Ohio State.. Guy's are taking a beating.Comment

Indiana has fallen off a cliff since the first few seasons, so I stopped looking to schedule them. But ND is still a force even on a down year, I always schedule an SEC game and one of either NIU/MIA(OH) for the rivalry. I want to get Semonza the architect skill tree, so I might schedule both of the rivalries next year then only one more season to unlock the tree.
Three of them are from the previoius year, but we also have two more players on the IL I couldnt fit on the report, but they're both backups that got hurt in garbage time against Michigan.
Also, I've changed the sliders to canes21's Heisman low accuracy high coverage sliders. Notre Dame came back against Ball State with those, Texas kept it close. The last game I played with Ball State we had a 35-0 halftime lead and held it. We'll see how the Ole Miss game goes. I'm liking them so far, but he has another "experimental set" posted that if these don't give enough of a challenge I may try those outComment

LEFT - Marquel Goings kept firing until the very end, but two red zone interceptions including on the final Rebels drive ultimately doomed Ole Miss.
CENTER - After back to back turnovers by the Dawgs offense lead to a 31-23 Ole Miss lead, Tobin answered with an 84 yard back shoulder seam route to re-tie the game at 31 in the blink of an eye.
RIGHT - Tobin made a last ditch effort to win the game with under 30 seconds left and almost cost Georgia the game after his interception was returned to mid-field, but the defense stood tall to force OT.
AThens, GA. - Georgia survived a thrilling SEC showdown in Athens, outlasting Ole Miss 41-38 in overtime in a game filled with momentum swings, big plays, and late-game drama.
The Bulldogs found themselves in an early hole as Ole Miss quarterback Marquel Goings torched the Georgia secondary for a pair of first-quarter touchdown passes. Georgia could only manage a pair of Quincey Toone field goals in response, trailing 14-6 after one. However, the Bulldogs roared back in the second quarter behind a Daniel Velasco 18-yard touchdown run and a 12-yard scoring strike from Titus Tobin to Jon Amerson. A critical defensive stand forced Ole Miss to settle for a short field goal, and the Rebels looked poised to take the lead before halftime until Georgia cornerback Franklin Mustipher picked off Goings in the end zone with 12 seconds left. Tobin then found Chuck Housler for a 49-yard bomb, setting up Toone’s 48-yard field goal to extend the Bulldogs’ lead to 23-17 at the break.
The third quarter belonged to the Rebels, as an early interception by Tobin led to a grueling 15-play drive capped by a Walt McMahon touchdown run. Georgia’s offense sputtered, and after a failed fourth-down attempt, Goings connected with Angelo Boger again, this time from 23 yards out, giving Ole Miss a 31-23 advantage heading into the final frame.
Tobin quickly answered, hitting Melvin Miles on a perfectly placed 84-yard strike down the seam before converting the two-point attempt to knot the game at 31. After a three-and-out from Ole Miss, Georgia drove deep into Rebels territory, but a costly Tobin fumble at the 7-yard line kept the game tied. The Bulldog defense stepped up again, forcing another punt, and this time Georgia leaned on its ground game, marching 65 yards on seven plays before Kalen Hurt punched in a 7-yard score to put Georgia up 38-31.
It looked like the Bulldogs had iced the game when Adrian Diesch picked off Goings with 1:06 left, but a quick three-and-out forced a tough decision for Georgia head coach Nash Savage. Rather than punting, he opted to go for it on 4th-and-4, but Tobin’s throw sailed high, giving Ole Miss one last chance. Goings took full advantage, hitting three quick passes before finding Boger for his third touchdown of the night to tie the game with just 37 seconds remaining.
With the game heading to overtime, Georgia chose to put its defense on the field first, and the Bulldogs made the most of it. Ole Miss drove to the Georgia 6-yard line, but on third down, Goings made his final mistake, as Mustipher came up with his second interception of the game, a spectacular one-handed grab in the end zone. Needing only a field goal to win, Georgia methodically ran the ball to set up Toone for a 22-yard game-winner, which he drilled to keep the Bulldogs unbeaten.
“This is SEC football,” Savage said postgame. “Anyone who thought we’d coast through conference play after the number we did on Michigan and Texas, let this serve as a lesson. The SEC is called the toughest conference for a reason. It’s the best of the best every week.”
Tobin finished with 366 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while Velasco added 137 rushing yards and a score. Goings had a monster night for Ole Miss, throwing for 423 yards and four touchdowns, but his three interceptions ultimately doomed the Rebels.
Next up for Georgia is a home matchup against Louisville as the Bulldogs look to stay unbeaten. Meanwhile, in the Big 12, Ball State continued its impressive season with a dominant 42-21 win over Baylor, improving to 5-0 behind another four-touchdown performance from Taylor Beckner.
Off the field, Savage also secured a big weekend on the recruiting trail, landing commitments from six prospects, including highly touted MLB Joel Bada (No. 27 overall), DE Erick Land (No. 7), and SS Nathan Thomson (No. 3).

Re: From The Shadows | The Rise Of "Nitro" Nash Savage (CFB25)
Velasco is a stud. I wish he wasn't a senior, but 99 speed and 92 trucking is crazy lol. Gaskin is solid as well, but I was using him mainly to keep Velasco from getting worn down and trying to avoid the dreaded Week 14 RB Injury lol
Recruiting wise has been more of a challenge with all of the local guys being on SEC radar as well. And the top QB prospect locked me out for a bit because my playstyle dipped too low for a passing QB, but that's back up now thankfully. Still looking at losing the 2nd 5* safety to Vanderbilt and the top CB on my board to Tulane, so I'm not running away with any recruits.
So far I'm loving the added challenge of not putting any points into recruiting aside from the insta commit perk. At the end of my USC dynasty any recruit I wanted I could basically get, but I've lost out on key guys at every stop so far at least a few times so it makes it more of a challenge.Comment

Re: From The Shadows | The Rise Of "Nitro" Nash Savage (CFB25)
Thanks man! That's the plan, I feel I'm better at offense than defense, so loading up on the defensive side first is always what I shoot for then focus on getting the toys for the offense. Get a couple of solid pass rushers then just harass QBs is the hope!Comment

LEFT - Titus Tobin's 1st pass was intercepted by the Cardinals as the senior QB committed 4 (3 INT, fumble) 1st half turnovers leading to 17 Louisville points.
CENTER - Melvin Miles putting three Cardinals in the spin cycle on a 61 yard TD in the 1st Q.
RIGHT - Stephen Terry's explosive 1st half cooled off considerably in the 2nd quarter. Terry finished the 1st half 23/31 with 303 yards and three touchdowns, but only completed 14/24 for 131 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT in the 2nd half.
Athens, GA. - Georgia overcame a disastrous first half to storm back in the second, defeating Louisville 56-37 to remain undefeated on the season. The Bulldogs (6-0) struggled early as quarterback Titus Tobin threw an interception on his first pass, setting up a 13-yard Louisville touchdown. Tobin’s turnover woes continued with three first-half interceptions and a fumble, directly leading to 17 Louisville points. Despite the miscues, Georgia’s explosive passing game kept them within striking distance, as Tobin connected on long touchdown strikes to Melvin Miles and Jon Amerson. However, Louisville’s Stephen Terry was sharp early, tossing three first-half touchdowns while Imani Muamba drilled three field goals, including a 52-yarder, to give the Cardinals a 30-21 halftime lead.
The second half belonged entirely to Georgia. The Bulldogs’ defense forced a three-and-out on Louisville’s opening drive, and Tobin quickly capitalized by finding Miles for their second touchdown connection. Moments later, linebacker Ronnie Fritz intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 44 yards for a score, giving Georgia a lead they would not relinquish. Tobin added a rushing touchdown and another passing score to Chuck Housler, while Louisville briefly responded with a deep 44-yard strike to Ja’Mario Hurst. By the end of the third quarter, Georgia had outscored Louisville 28-7 in the frame, flipping the game into a 49-37 advantage. A final touchdown pass to Dom Short in the fourth quarter sealed the victory.
Tobin finished the game with seven total touchdowns—six through the air and one on the ground—while overcoming his early struggles. His second-half performance (5/8, 75 yards, 3 TDs) was mistake-free after an erratic first half. The Bulldogs also leaned more on their rushing attack after halftime, racking up 210 yards on the ground. Daniel Velasco led the charge with 195 total rushing yards, while Tobin chipped in 68 of his own.
On the other side, Terry’s hot start (23/31, 303 yards, 3 TDs) cooled in the second half as he completed just 14/24 passes for 131 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Louisville’s offense struggled to sustain drives, and costly turnovers, including a fumble by freshman Larry Vaughns, set up key Georgia scores.
Head coach Nash Savage acknowledged the Bulldogs’ shift in offensive approach. “We got carried away in the passing game, no doubt about it,” he said postgame. “When you start hitting big plays, it’s sometimes hard to reign it back in. But I think you saw a much more balanced approach after the half.”
The win keeps Georgia perfect at 6-0 and, more importantly, moves them to 3-0 in SEC play after a dreadful 1-7 conference record last season. The Bulldogs jumped from No. 25 to No. 16 in the rankings following the victory. However, they took a hit in recruiting as five-star defensive backs DeAndre Watkins and Joel Egboh committed elsewhere, choosing Tulane and Vanderbilt, respectively.
Next up, Georgia travels to face Alabama, which fell out of the rankings after a 35-30 loss to Kentucky. Meanwhile, in the Big 12, Ball State continued its strong start under head coach Kadin Semonza, routing Oklahoma State 38-7 behind another stellar performance from senior quarterback Taylor Beckner, who tossed five touchdown passes.
