Huge opening win over Mizzou, but the Red Wolves got humbled a bit against Arkansas. I think that's going to be an exciting matchup going forward, maybe not FIU vs Miami level but certainly close and playing a huge role for in state recruiting.


Nice deep dive on the pod too. I agree with coach moore, why quit running the ball if they can't stop it? Raynor has the talent to make teams pay if they decide to load the box

Yeah. I am a little surprised when I read that they have never played each other in real life. I just find that odd..

In 2023 they played a FSC program (Western Carolina), Kent State, BYU, FIU all home games.

The year before they played another FCS School, Cincinnati and Liberty (lost 21-19) at home and BYU on the road.

In 2021 they played FCS (Arkansas Pine-Bluff) as a home game and played Georgia Southern from the Sun Belt..

So I am sorta agree with the person who stated it must be they feel playing the Red Wolves is do big a risk in the sense if they lose it does more damage to the reputation with instate kids then it would help them if they won.

So my FIU/OSU thread seems to be fixed.. I am still going to update this from time to time because I am having fun playing with the Red Wolves and I do want to keep playing with them but it won't be a daily thing like my other thread. I also plan to keep the recaps sorta like I have.. My OSU/FIU is much more detailed and time consuming.. This one is more just about sharing the results of my rebuild and trying to turn Arkansas State into a future SEC power.. :wink:
