I got Ovechkin for two AHLers once.

First you have to get him injured, so you get all your players to shadow him when you play his team. Then you get him injured and his stock will be very low.

    Cheating? I know.

Lol, nice. Well, keeping that in mind, I will not be trading for any injured players.

        Week Recap:
2-1, including a great comeback win in that final game. Seems Park has some chemistry with Sim and Comrie. Guerin might get bumped to the 3rd line upon his return which will be not this next game, but the one after. He's been cleared to play, but is only at 74% so we'll give him another game off.

Great job, keep it up man. Islanders look pretty solid to me. Guerin should be playing better though.

Yeah, Guerin has been a bit cold. But it seems everyone has been pretty streaky actually. But we are 8-7-4, so that's better than the real Islanders so far. The goals are definitely coming though it seems which is nice, but I don't think Danis is going to stay this hot.. so we'll see what happens.

I've also been trying to shop around Weight, Guerin and Sillinger early on, but no one is biting right now, since they all have said that this year will be their final season and aren't willing to give up anything more than a veteran 3rd liner. So once the trade deadline nears, hopefully the demand will be up, if not, we'll have to see how much of a chance we have at the playoffs and decide.

I see, if I were you, I'd wait until the trade deadline and then pull of a huge blockbuster deal, that would be so exciting.

That's what I'm hoping for definitely.

Note: I updated the player ratings, it was a bit interesting to see especially considering we're not even 20 games in yet. And next week will be up later tonight.

                  Eric Staal (CAR) - 4 GP, 3 G, 5 A, 8 PTS.

                  Player of the Month:
                  Henrik Zetterberg (DET) - 14 GP, 8 G, 8 A, 16 PTS.

                  Week Recap:
2-2.. when we started out 2-0. Danis didn't play well in that last one, but I think I'm switching up the goaltenders a little too much, so I'm going to switch back to DiPietro and give him 2-3 straight starts for sure to try and get him in a groove. Our 1st and 2nd lines are lighting it up, but we need the 3rd and 4th lines to chip in once in a while.

                    Week Recap:
1-2.. DiPietro didn't look great until this last game and the scoring is drying up again it seems. DiPietro will continue to start, but a bad start next game and Danis will be back in. The lines will probably be getting mixed up yet again.

                            Week Recap:
2-2 and too much inconsistency still. Nothing I can really do about though other than hope we can start to play well more often. Not a game off, game on.

Dang, you scored a lot of powerplay goals this week. More than you did even strength.
Too bad no one wants to make trades with you, cause if you stay at .500, you'll have to make a run after the deadline.

Yeah, an absolute ton of goals on the powerplay. But yeah, we're going to have to pick it up a bit if we want to become a playoff team.
