    Resurrecting the Isles (EHM)

Kicking it old school with Eastside Hockey Manager. Using 2008/09 rosters as of the beginning of the season. I won't be going into the players file at all to see players' potential ratings, I have to rely on my scouting. I forgot to take out the waiver draft, so that'll still exist. I'll be trying to post a week recap or two every day or two, but my work schedule might restrict that to once every few days.

    2009/10 Current Roster

    Italics - Contract Year

    Left Wingers
    Daniel Sedin (6'1", 190 lbs.) - 29 Years Old, Off: 78 (+1), Def: 72, Ovr: 76 (+1)
    David Booth (6'1", 217 lbs.) (2.5*)- 25 Years Old, Off: 76 (+7), Def: 74 (+7), Ovr: 73 (+5)
    Tomas Plekanec (5'10", 189 lbs.) - 27 Years Old, Off: 71 (+1), Def: 72 (+2), Ovr: 73 (+1)
    Michael Blunden (6'3", 213 lbs.) (3*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 70 (+4), Def: 71 (+3), Ovr: 69 (+3)
    Blake Comeau (6'1", 194 lbs.) (2*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 62, Def: 63, Ovr: 65
    Sergei Ogorodnikov (6'2", 185 lbs.) (3.5*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 55, Def: 64 (+2), Ovr: 63 (+1)
    ------------------------
    Maxim Gratchev (6'0", 190 lbs.) (2.5*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 57(+13), Def: 56 (+14), Ovr: 62 (+8)
    Jason Gregoire (5'11", 175 lbs.) (3*)- 20 Years Old, Off: 46 (+3), Def: 48 (+2), Ovr: 57 (+2)
    Rob Hennigar (5'11", 174 lbs.) - 26 Years Old, Off: 54, Def: 49, Ovr: 57 (-1)
    Matthew Martin (6'2", 192 lbs.) (3*)- 20 Years Old, Off: 46 (+7), Def: 63 (+19), Ovr: 56 (+6)

    Prospects:
    David Toews (5'11", 185 lbs.) (2.5*)- 19 Years Old, Off: 50 (+5), Def: 46 (+3), Ovr: 57 (+2)
    David Ullstrom (6'3", 198 lbs.) (3*)- 20 Years Old, Off: 45, Def: 46, Ovr: 53
    Kim Johansson (6'1", 172 lbs.) (3*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 41 (+1), Def: 41 (+1), Ovr: 51

-Still not a whole ton of talent here. Booth should be a 2nd liner and no one has any real potential aside from Blunden, Ogorodnikov and Gregoire.

    Centers
    Vincent Lecavalier (6'4", 205 lbs.) - 29 Years Old, Off: 86, Def: 73 (+1), Ovr: 80
    R.J. Umberger (6'2", 200 lbs.) - 27 Years Old, Off: 72, Def: 77 (+7), Ovr: 76 (+1)

    Frans Nielsen (6'0", 182 lbs.) (2*)- 25 Years Old, Off: 55 (+1), Def: 56 (+2), Ovr: 62
    Doug Rogers (6'0", 175 lbs.) (3*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 52 (-2), Def: 51 (-2), Ovr: 56 (-1)
    Craig Voakes (5'11", 175 lbs.) (3*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 49, Def: 46, Ovr: 56 (+1)
    Justin DiBenedetto (5'11", 194 lbs.) (2.5*) - 21 Years Old, Off: 51 (+8), Def: 45 (+10), Ovr: 54 (+5)

    Prospects:
    Corey Trivino (6'0", 170 lbs.) (4*)- 19 Years Old, Off: 62 (+2), Def: 52 (+1), Ovr: 62 (+1)
    Brayden Schenn (6'0", 196 lbs.) (4.5*)- 18 Years Old, Off: 53 (+1), Def: 58 (+2), Ovr: 60 (+1)

-A bit more talent here with Lecavalier and now Umberger but nothing in the minors in case of injury and though we have tons of talent in junior, they're not ready just yet.

    Right Wingers
    Andrew Ladd (6'2", 200 lbs.) (3.5*)- 24 Years Old, Off: 78 (+2), Def: 82, Ovr: 77 (+2)
    Trent Hunter (6'3", 210 lbs.) - 29 Years Old, Off: 73 (-1), Def: 74 (+1), Ovr: 75 (+1)

    Kyle Okposo (6'0", 195 lbs.) (2.5*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 74 (+8), Def: 72 (+9), Ovr: 72 (+6)
    Jesse Joensuu (6'4", 207 lbs.) (4*)- 22 Years Old, Off: 68 (+1), Def: 69 (+1), Ovr: 71 (+2)
    --------------------
    Rhett Rakhshani (5'10", 170 lbs.) (3*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 62 (+19), Def: 54 (+12), Ovr: 61 (+10)
    Joel Rechlicz (6'4", 220 lbs.) (2.5*)- 22 Years Old, Off: 47 (+1), Def: 54 (+1), Ovr: 58 (+1)

    Troy Mattila (6'2", 176 lbs.) (2.5*)- 21 Years Old, Off: 42 (+1), Def: 51 (+11), Ovr: 54 (+4)
    Sean Bentivoglio (5'11", 185 lbs.) (2.5*)- 24 Years Old, Off: 56 (+6), Def: 45 (-1), Ovr: 53

    Prospects:
    Rehor Faimon (6'5", 239 lbs.) (2*)- 18 Years Old, Off: 58 (-2), Def: 32, Ovr: 56 (-1)
    Robert Hooter (6'3", 214 lbs.) (2.5*)- 18 Years Old, Off: 51, Def: 40 (+2), Ovr: 53

-We're pretty solid here right now and should be for quite a few years in Joensuu and Ryan progress how they're projected to.

    Defensemen
    Braydon Coburn (6'5", 224 lbs.) (2.5*) - 25 Years Old, Off: 67, Def: 79, Ovr: 74

    Bruno Gervais (6'1", 197 lbs.) (3*)- 25 Years Old, Off: 65 (+5), Def: 78 (+6), Ovr: 73 (+3)
    Chris Campoli (6'0", 190 lbs.) (2.5*)- 25 Years Old, Off: 76 (+9), Def: 72 (+5), Ovr: 73 (+4)
    Freddy Meyer (5'10", 192 lbs.) - 28 Years Old, Off: 61, Def: 70, Ovr: 68
    Willie Mitchell (6'3", 210 lbs.) - 32 Years Old, Off: 44, Def: 75, Ovr: 68

    Erkka Leppanen (6'1", 176 lbs.) (2.5*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 52 (+21), Def: 65 (+22), Ovr: 62 (+14)
    Andrew MacDonald (6'0", 188 lbs.) (3*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 56 (+3), Def: 57, Ovr: 60
    Emil Axelsson (6'3", 200 lbs.) (2*)- 23 Years Old, Off: 51 (+6), Def: 59 (+3), Ovr: 59 (+2)
    Blake Kessel (6'1", 210 lbs.) (3*)- 20 Years Old, Off: 48 (+11), Def: 53 (+6), Ovr: 58 (+5)

    Victor Hedman (6'6", 212 lbs.) (5*)- 19 Years Old, Off: 50 (+2), Def: 71 (+3), Ovr: 66 (+2)

    Travis Hamonic (6'0", 192 lbs.) (2*)- 19 Years Old, Off: 46 (+2), Def: 52 (+1), Ovr: 56 (+1)
    Matt Donovan (5'11", 185 lbs.) (3*)- 19 Years Old, Off: 49 (+2), Def: 46 (+2), Ovr: 55 (+1)

-We're alright on defense now, with a couple guys in the minors that should be alright if we need them for a few games and we're absolutely loaded with defensemen at the junior level.

    Goalies
    Rick DiPietro (6'0", 185 lbs.) - 28 Years Old, Ovr: 82 (+2)
    Yann Danis (6'0", 175 lbs.) - 28 Years Old, Ovr: 71 (+5)
    --------------------
    Joey MacDonald (6'1", 185 lbs.) - 29 Years Old, Ovr: 62 (-1)
    Peter Mannino (6'2", 200 lbs.) (2.5*)- 25 Years Old, Ovr: 59 (+2)
    Stefan Ridderwall (6'1", 185 lbs.) (2.5*)- 21 Years Old, Ovr: 58 (+7)

    Prospects:
    Kevin Poulin (6'2", 210 lbs.) (2.5*)- 19 Years Old, Ovr: 57 (+1)

-Same thing as last year, we need DiPietro to be healthy and playing well if we want any chance to succeed. Unfortunately with Danis out due to a contract dispute, we might really need to go acquire a backup.

Yeah... this could take a few years to turn around. And I'm not sure if that's going to be in-game or real life yet lol

He could be top line, 2nd line, 3rd line or 4th line. It all depends on how consistantly he's going to show up. He's starting on the 2nd line, definitely doesn't mean he'll stay there.

                            Week Recap:
Two close losses, Danis has played great and we'll keep him in there until he slips. The lines will definitely be getting switched though as we need to generate some more offense.

I won't be going into the players file at all to see players' potential ratings, I have to rely on my scouting. I forgot to take out the waiver draft, so that'll still exist. I'll be trying to post a week recap or two every day or two, but my work schedule might restrict that to once every few days.
