Hanzal breaks foot, out 1-2 months

The season struggles continued for Martin Hanzal, as he went awkwardly into the end boards after missing the net on a shot in the first period, breaking his foot in the process.

"This season hasn't been good to me so far, so this will give me some time to get my head on right. Muller will be back next game, so I know someone good will be holding my roster spot until I get back."

That sucks for Hanzal. But I'm following this dynasty. Good job.

                      Peca aquired from waivers

The Phoenix Coyotes have claimed center Michael Peca off of waivers from the Columbus Blue Jackets this afternoon, just in time for Peca to dress tonight in Columbus.

"Ovbiously the management in Columbus felt I wasn't worth keeping on the roster, and I only have to go to the next dressing room to join my new team for tonight's game. Hopefully I can make it sting."
