Re: Rebuilding in Phoenix: A Coyotes dynasty

Coyotes players in doubt about future

Down in Glendale Arizona, there is a hockey team. Now this hockey team isn't very good, sitting in last place in their division but they do have a lot of young talent on this team, but those young players lack the experience that the grizzled veterans have.

These vets are mostly battle hardened, playoff warriors, who most expect to be playing in this year's Stanley Cup playoffs. But not wearing the Coyotes sweater.

Players such as Ed Jovonovski and Shane Doan are only 32 years of age but could bring significant returns to this Coyotes team if they were to be traded. The only risk involves the fact that neither player is going to be a free agent in the off-season, so any team looking to acquire them will have to break the bank literally and figuratively.

Upcoming free agents such as Ken Klee, Michael Peca, Tim Connolly and Dmitri Kalinin are most likely to be moved as the Coyotes would be able to get assets for these players who most likely would want to sign with contenders in the off-season.

Ride it out for a while before you make your moves...that way you'll know what to compare your squad to next year.

                          If that makes sense.

Oh yeah, for sure.. I won't be making any major moves now unless I get a great offer, but will be unloading for sure before the deadline. Unless of course I go on a huge win streak.
