COYOTES LOSE 5-3 TO DUCKS WITH ROOKIE MONTOYA IN NET
Earlier tonight, the Phoenix Coyotes were informed by left-wing Nigel Dawes that he wants to be traded. Apparently, there is something Dawes doesn't like about Phoenix. He was just recently acquired in the trade between the Coyotes and the New York Rangers. It's reported that several teams have interest in Dawes, and that the Coyotes are looking for a goal-scoring winger in return. Coyotes GM Viktor Konstantinov issued a brief statement, saying that he will honor Dawes' request to be traded, and that he could be dealt after the Coyotes game in Anaheim concluded. Dawes was in the line-up for the 5-3 loss, and recorded no points.
