Re: Starting From Scratch: The Hartford Atlantics (NHL 2k8)
This was a good idea...but I think I'm done till NHL 10 drops, when I will do a St. Louis Blues Chise that will be all article style recaps like this one was.
I'm gonna be in the baseball dynasty section finishing my 09 The Show chise with the Cards.
Its not nearly as kewl in that forum because you guys are really awesome contributors...not only in your own threads, but in other people's as well. I've written 7 recaps over there and get tons of views, but nobody says a word. So I miss you guys...
I look forward to writing in this section again when NHL 10 drops...
Here's to a great hockey gaming season.
I'll be lurking.Comment

Re: Starting From Scratch: The Hartford Atlantics (NHL 2k8)
Sweet. I really enjoyed this.
Also, I think you should do like 10 games at once because this would not be as great if you did not go past season one.
I say this because this is a team where you have to re-build them via draft picks and trades.
Just my 86 cents..Comment

Re: Starting From Scratch: The Hartford Atlantics (NHL 2k8)
Do like updates every ten games??? Or every 20 games...so 4 updates per season with team stats, league leaders, standings, news and notes from around the league??? Something more like that...Comment

Re: Starting From Scratch: The Hartford Atlantics (NHL 2k8)
I think you should get season 1 done ASAP and continue with the drafts and free agents then start to think about how to do it with Season 2.
Givin the fact that most people are getting ready for their 2010 dynasties, I think I would go with a ten game update in season 2. And possibly even go onwards.
Again, it's up to you but i'm happy to help.Comment

I'm going to sim the rest of this season...do the draft, free agents...then play season 2, doing updates every at the 20 game mark, the 41 game mark, the Trade Dead Line, and 82.
Yes...thanks for that...something totally new for me considering I am hardcore "anti-sim".Comment
