nah, I'm not going to kill Phil. I don't feel there's a point to kill Phil, especially when it's soo early on in his life (that I've written about, that is...haha). I'm probably just going to let this one sink to the bottom, until NHL 10 comes out, and it goes bye-bye for good :*

If i DO get NHL 10, I may end up reincarnating this, however. We'll see if it all pans out, lmfao.

To be completely honest, though, I have absolutely no idea how I got the scratch. I played the game yesterday morning for about 1 hr, put in another game, and put NHL 09 back in my cd folder thingy.

Late last night, I put it in the xbox and was playing for like 10 or 15 minutes, when all of a sudden a little sign popped up and said "this disc is unreadable." I then took it out and cleaned it for a while, and put it back in. It said right away "this disc is unreadable." and that's when i noticed a HUGE ring scratch going all the way around the outermost part of the disc.

I was totally bummed out. I've tried everything ranging from toothpaste to peanut butter to diet cola--yet no luck.

Really pissed off, lmfao. I guess my last resort would be to take it to a place that sells cd's or something and ask them if they can repair the disc, but that usually can cost like, 20 bucks, and I don't think that's worth it for a game I'll just play for a little less than a month, and then I'm not sure how often I'll play it after that, seeing as I have no idea what university will be like.

Guys: I was scared for quite a while, now.

Recently, a pretty bad scratch came up on my NHL 09 disc. With the help of Alex96, and his suggestion of "the toothpaste method", I've gotten the game back and working (hopefully) and will not be killing this BAP. Thanks to Alex96.

EDIT: DAMN! Just as I typed in the words "hopefully" it crashed once again.

This is deceased, forever.

Alex96 can do something good for society?

I thought he was just fun to mess with because he believed me when I told him my Dad was an Indian tribal leader.

Seriously, sucks to see Phil go so early.

Phil Gomez was walking down the street on a dark sunday afternoon after a good win against Norfolk.

As Phil's stick walked up to the stage he thought about his father and thought how proud he would be.

Phil's spirit looked down at his hockey stick and did the Micheal Jackson "Thriller" dance as he was so excited.
