You can pick your year of birth. You could start as a 45 year old I think if you wanted.

I have set my guy to be 30 and as soon as the BAP started he became 18...

yeah, what I did is just created myself in BAP as a "hybrid" goalie, then wrote down all of his attributes, and then made a CAP on the lowell devils with those exact attributes, and made his 28 or w/e.

Then, I started an Be an NHLer or w/e it's called, and started out as a 28 year old that way.

yeah, of course, haha. In fact, that's what this is! Be an NHLer just means be an existing player in the game, or a CAP, if you've made one that's on a team. I don't think you can do it in the elite leagues, but the NHL and AHL have both worked for me.
